"Of course it can’t fully activate, but if it truly is a temple site, chosen for being in accordance with the laws, selecting the correct Array Eye would elicit some response." Wen Gaoren clarified.

Mu Hanyan also thought it somewhat wasteful of Meteorite Gold but knew that for an Array Master like Wen Gaoren, faced with a chance to study an Ancient Array, nothing would deter him, so she didn’t stop him.
