My All Powerful System
Chapter 165: Day Two Belong to Aether Blessed Academy
The morning sun over the Void Empire was strong and pale. It cut through the thick mist that rose from the stone plazas around the Grand Arena.
By 8:00 AM, the upper seats were already packed with thousands of watchers. Their combined noise rose like the roar of a faraway ocean. Banners from four competing academies snapped in the cold mountain wind.
But inside one of the luxury waiting room saved for Aether Blessed Academy, the mood was very different.
It was quiet. Not the tight, stressful quiet of fighters worried about their coming matches, but a deep, settled calm.
Lynx sat at the front of the viewing balcony. His long legs were crossed. A glass of cold mineral water rested on the arm of his leather chair.
His silver hair, with shining threads of gold in it caught in the morning light. His two colored eyes, blue and silver, with thin gold rings around them, looked over the arena floor below.
Beside him sat his women. Even though they had spent the whole night pushed far past their body limits inside Lynx’s Mind World, not one of them looked tired.
Lynx’s energy had healed their muscles, made their mana paths better, and left their skin almost glowing with health.
Kira adjusted the golden leather guards on her forearms. Her deep orange eyes were bright with focused energy. Isabel sat right next to her, looking peaceful in a neat white coat. She rested a soft hand on her daughter’s shoulder.
Professor Rose stood a little behind Lynx. Her hands were clasped behind her lower back. The red mark on her forehead pulsed once, slow and warm.
Ava fidgeted a little on the far side of the sofa. Her long, smooth white hair fell like a bright curtain all the way down past her waist. It shimmered softly in the morning light.
She kept twisting a strand of her long hair around her finger. Her blue eyes looked toward Lynx every few seconds with a deep, quiet blush.
"You’re calm," Rose said. Her voice was low enough that only Lynx could hear.
"Why wouldn’t I be?" Lynx answered. He did not take his eyes off the stage below, a match was happening between Heather and Beacon Blessed Academy. "We won smoothly yesterday. We’ll do the same today."
"Kira’s fighting someone above her level," Rose reminded him in a smooth voice. "She’s Year 2. Her opponent is a Year 4 frontline fighter from Beacon Blessed Academy. Although she’s strong, he’s one of their strongest Year 4 male students."
Kira leaned back against her seat. Her big chest rose as she took a slow, steady breath. "I’ll be fine, Professor. I’ll win... perhaps you’re worried about me."
"Of course I’m not... alright, you’re going to win." Rose said. But the corner of her lips twitched upward.
[MATCH 5: KIRA LEWIS - AETHER ACADEMY - YEAR 2 VS. VANCE TORN - BEACON ACADEMY - YEAR 4]
The crowd exploded. Aether Academy is fighting again, with another Junior student.
"Give him hell, Kira," Ava called out. Her long white hair swayed across her shoulders as she sat up straight with a grin.
"Don’t get your uniform dirty," Lira added with a giggle. She was leaning against Ophelia’s side.
Kira didn’t answer with words. She gave Lynx one long look. It was a silent reminder of the stamina test they had shared only hours before. Then she left the place. Yeah Lynx tested her stamina with another round of hot morning sex.
When she stepped onto the stage, the noise of the thousands fans hit her like a real wave. Across the hundred yard space stood Vance Torn.
He was broad shouldered. He wore heavy grey metal armor that covered his chest and shoulders. He carried a massive two handed club that buzzed with thick brown earth affinity.
"A Year 2 girl, again" Vance said. His voice was made louder by the arena’s sound system as he rested his club on his shoulder. "Aether Academy thinks they’ve arrived uhn. I’ll send you crying to your people from that trash academy."
Kira did not answer the insult. She simply unclasped her deep blue outer cloak and let it fall to the dust. This showed her tight deep blue uniform, that hugged her extreme hourglass body. Her huge breasts pressed hard against the fabric while her wide hips moved with perfect grace.
"START!"
Vance did not wait. He slammed his war club into the ground. The stone floor cracked open in a straight line toward Kira. Sharp pillars of granite burst upward at scary speed. They sent thick dust into the air.
Kira did not dodge.
A sudden burst of roaring red fire exploded from her back. It shaped into huge, amazing flame wings. With one flap of her wings, [Axus Flame] started. She lifted off the ground. She jumped straight over the earth pillars into the sky.
The heat coming off her was so strong it turned the falling stone dust to ash.
Vance looked up. His eyes widened in fear as a rain of white hot fireballs fell from above like a shower of falling meteors. He slammed his club down again. He called up a thick dome of rock to cover himself.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Kira’s fire hit the earth dome. It melted the solid granite into red hot lava within seconds. Before Vance could even understand that the heat was breaking through his defense, Kira dropped from the sky like a falling phoenix.
Her fire wings folded into her body. She put all of her raw speed into one dive downward.
She shattered the melted rock dome with her bare hand. She stepped right into his space.
"What?!" Vance gritted his teeth. He rushed to swing his huge club.
Kira’s left hand hit first. It was an open palm strike straight into his heavy metal chest plate. A focused blast of packed fire and raw force exploded on contact.
THUMP!
The heavy metal armor cracked like glass. The shockwave blew all the air out of his lungs. It pushed him back three full steps. But Kira was not done.
She spun on her heel. Her long blonde hair whipped around her waist. She set her right boot on fire with roaring red flames. Then she gave a brutal, rising roundhouse kick right under his chin.
CLANG!
Vance was lifted clean off his feet. His huge body spun twice in the air before he crashed face down onto the broken stone tiles. He was completely knocked out. His war club fell uselessly into the dust.
The arena went completely silent for two full seconds. Then the refree called. "WINNER: KIRA LEWIS from AETHER BLESSED ACADEMY"
The Aether section exploded into wild cheers. In one of the seats, Isabel let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding. A proud smile spread across her face.
Kira stood in the middle of the smoking crater. Her flame wings faded into small sparks of light.
She turned toward where Lynx was. She caught Lynx’s eye and gave him a short, winning nod. Then she turned back toward the tunnel.
The afternoon continued with fast matches in the other rings.
Lynx watched the fights with casual lack of interest. Sometimes he pointed out technical mistakes to Ava and Lira.
They listened to every word he said very closely. Ava leaned close against his shoulder. Her long white hair fell over his chest as she listened hard.
Across the Place where Aether Blessed Academy students were, where Lynx his girls and professor rose currently where, Raven friend, who Lynx had teased the night before alongside Raven, won her own match in under 2 minutes.
She cut through three defensive shields with clean, brutal accuracy. As she walked off the stage, her eyes flicked up to Lynx’s room one more time. Her cheeks turned bright red before she quickly looked away.
By 3:45 PM, the sky over the Void Empire had changed to a deep dark blue.
[MATCH 9: ELEANOR HALEBORN AETHER ACADEMY - YEAR 4 VS. DARIUS KROHN VOID ACADEMY - YEAR 4]
When Eleanor stepped onto the stage, the noise reached a deafening level.
Standing at 5’9, she was a perfect picture of deadly beauty. Her long, straight purple hair fell past her waist like a waterfall of smooth silk.
It was tied once near the bottom with a simple black ribbon. Her pale skin was totally perfect. It stood out next to her striking purple eyes. Her eyes were soft, sharp, and showed no sign of pressure or feeling. Just a calm, blank stare.
Her golden academy uniform was made to fit her body in a very tempting way. The fabric stretched tight over her heavy, amazing breasts.
It narrowed sharply at her thin, delicate waist. Then it flared out over her wide, full hips and long, perfect legs. Her posture was royal and straight. She was the undisputed Queen of Aether Academy.
Some yards away from Lynx, in the Aether students area, her four elite team members, Layla, Iris, Rhea, and Nadia, stood like a guard of honor. Their faces were relaxed and confident.
Her opponent, Darius Krohn, was one of Void Academy’s best fighters. He carried two short swords wrapped in crackling purple lightning. His posture was tense and aggressive.
"Eleanor huh," Darius spat. He brought his swords together to make a harsh spark. Then he laughed, "You are so beautiful, don’t worry I won’t injure your pretty face. I’ll go easy on you." He was definitely joking, if Aether year 2 students were that strong, how strong will their Year 4 students be.
Eleanor did not pull out a weapon. Her academy don’t do that. She stood with her arms resting normally at her sides. Her beautiful purple eyes stared right through him.
"Begin," the referee called.
Darius shot forward. He turned his whole body into a blinding streak of purple lightning.
He moved at a speed that made him totally invisible to the audience. The air burned with the smell of electricity as he zipped across the arena in a sharp zig zag pattern.
He crossed the hundred yard distance in less than a heartbeat.
"Thunder God’s Flash: Double Strike!" his voice echoed from everywhere at once.
Eleanor didn’t even move.
She lifted her delicate right hand. Her golden uniform pulled a little against her big chest as she raised two fingers.
ZZZT!
A mark of invisible static flashed across Darius’s chest while he was running.
Without Eleanor even taking a step, a huge bolt of golden lightning appeared right out of thin air above Darius. Because of her blessing, the strike could not be avoided.
KABOOM!
The lightning hit Darius with full power. His speed attack was violently stopped as the strike drove him face first into the stone tiles.
The electric shock exploded through his body. It shattered his two short swords into tiny metal pieces and burned his dark uniform.
Darius screamed. He coughed up blood as he tried to push himself off the ground. "N-No... I’m not... done..."
He forced himself onto his knees. He channeled every drop of his remaining mana into his fists. He was getting ready to jump one last time.
She walked right up to Darius. She raised her foot. Her golden uniform hugged her thick, wide hips as she gave a simple, light tap to his shoulder.
BANG!
The stored force of her tap hit Darius like a falling mountain. He was sent flying backward fifty yards across the arena. He slid through the dirt until he slammed into the outer stone wall. Then he dropped completely limp.
The entire arena fell completely silent.
The refree called. "WINNER: ELEANOR HALEBORN AETHER BLESSED ACADEMY."
Eleanor lowered her hand. Her face was totally unchanged. Not one hair was out of place on her long purple hair. She didn’t even look back at Darius as the medics rushed onto the field.
She turned her head slowly. Her purple eyes swept around toward where Lynx sat.
When her eyes met his glowing blue, silver, and gold ones, the blank, icy look on her beautiful face melted away completely. A subtle, breathless smile curved her pink lips.
Then she walked out of the stage.
Day Two belonged to Aether Academy. And Lynx was just getting ready to take it all.
