Over the rest of Day Five and into Day Six, Queen Eleanor’s four personal enforcers stepped up to the ring one by one, showing the entire continent why they were considered the undisputed elite of their year.

Layla Solara took the arena for her match. Her long crimson hair burned like actual fire under the bright afternoon sun, her tight trimmed uniform straining against her massive, voluptuous chest with every breath she took.

Her opponent was a Year 4 Earth affinity user from Beacon Academy who immediately tried to enclose her in a fortress of towering rock slabs and launch massive, heavy boulders across the flagstone floor.

Layla just smirked, activating her S Rank Fire affinity and her Ignis Shield. The instant the rushing boulders hit her blazing aura, the stone was instantly melted into glowing, runny slag.

With a casual flick of her wrist, Layla thrust her palm forward, releasing a roaring pillar of crimson flames that shattered through the rock fortress and blew her opponent clean off the stone ring and into the outer spectator wall.

Next came Iris Nightglow for Match 42. Her sleek, midnight black hair fell like a dark curtain past her waist, her dark silver eyes cold and emotionless as she faced a Year 4 Wind user from Void Academy.

The moment the refree yelled, Iris activated Nightwind Step, completely erasing her wind resistance and presence.

She moved across the stone floor so fast and smoothly that her opponent couldn’t even register the sound of her footsteps.

She appeared directly behind his back out of thin air and tapped the base of his neck with a sharp blade of compressed wind, knocking him out instantly.

"WINNER: IRIS NIGHTGLOW - AETHER BLESSED ACADEMY"

Rhea Dawnwhisper stepped out for Match 45. Her icy blue bob hair framed her sharp, beautiful face, her tight hourglass figure drawing loud cheers from the male fans in the high stands.

She faced a heavy Year 4 Earth tank who tried to surround himself with stone walls. Rhea simply ducked under his heavy swing, reached out, and touched his bare wrist with her fingertips.

Her Frost Touch blessing activated in a flash, sending a shockwave of absolute zero ice energy rushing directly into his blood and mana channels.

The Heather fighter froze instantly from the inside out, collapsing onto his knees as he shivered uncontrollably, forced to tap out before his internal organs froze solid.

Then came the match of the last queen escort, Nadia Goldspire took the field for Match 49. Her extremely beautiful face, her rich, dark skin that shone under the sun, her thick, curvy legs and wide hips commanding the attention of half the stadium as she walked out.

She faced a physical brawler from Heather Academy who bragged about his unbreakable body. She simply stepped into his guard and threw a single straight punch with her Titan Power blessing activated.

During the late afternoon break on Day Six, Lynx decided to stretch his legs and grab a cold fruit juice from the inner refreshment corridor running beneath their viewing boxes.

As he walked down the quiet, cool stone hallway, he caught sight of two figures walking toward him.

It was Raven and her close friend Diana. Raven was the Year 2 student with dark hair, sharp, beautiful eyes, and an insanely voluptuous figure that was barely contained by her academy uniform.

She possessed high dual affinity comprehension in both Wind and Earth, and both she and Diana had already crushed their opening matches on Days One and Two, securing their spots for the second round early.

The moment Diana looked up and saw Lynx strolling down the quiet hallway toward them, her face turned bright red.

Raven tried her absolute best to act completely nonchalant.

She crossed her thick arms tightly under her chest, forcing a cold, indifferent expression onto her face, but her dark eyes trembled slightly as Lynx came to a smooth stop right in front of them.

"Hey there," Lynx smirked, his heterochromatic blue and silver eyes looking down at Raven’s flushed face.

"I saw your fight, well everyone saw it, but you know. You handled that guy pretty smoothly."

Raven felt a intense wave of heat flash across her skin. Her heart began hammering against her ribs like a runaway drum. She forced her voice to stay flat, though her ears were turning bright pink.

"It was nothing special. Just basic affinity control. Anyone could have done it."

"Is that so?" Lynx chuckled softly, taking one small step closer. His Eternal Charm blessing radiated outward like an invisible, irresistible magnetic wave, washing over both girls.

"You’re hiding a lot of power under that uniform, Raven. We should definitely hang out more once this whole tournament wraps up."

Raven swallowed hard, her chest heaving as she tried to keep her cool composure from crumbling completely.

She pulled her collar up slightly to hide her blush. "Whatever... don’t go thinking I’m going to run after you like all the other girls in the academy."

Lynx just gave her a devastatingly handsome smile, winked at her, and strolled past them toward the stairs.

The very second Lynx was out of earshot, Diana completely gave out, sliding down the wall until she was sitting flat on her butt, clutching her stomach.

Raven didn’t answer right away. She stood frozen in the quiet hallway, her hands trembling as she held her chest, her mind completely consumed by Lynx’s face.

The results were tallied up on the giant magical display floating above the stadium floor, revealing the final numbers for the remaining fighters.

Out of the two hundred elite students who had entered the competition across all four major empires, exactly one hundred had survived the grueling elimination matches to qualify for the second phase.
