Chapter 857 - 851: You Can’t Offend the Most Untouchable Person in the Family Right Away

"Madam, why don’t you give it a name? After all, you’re the one who brought it back." The butler nodded, then said to Summer Shawcross.

Katherine Irving also nodded, showing she agreed.

Hearing that, Summer Shawcross nodded, then reached out and flipped the little guy over, rubbing its belly. When she discovered it was a little male dog, inspiration suddenly struck!

"Let’s call him Noelle Drexler." She suddenly blurted out, surprise lighting up her face.

The moment that name came out, everyone froze for a second.

Off to the side, Noah Drexler’s face instantly darkened after hearing what she’d just said!

"Summer Shawcross, say that again!" He frowned hard, that handsome face at the moment full of danger, sounding extremely displeased!

Noelle Drexler?! She could just try naming that dog Noelle Drexler!

She was not only giving all his clothes to that ugly mutt, she wouldn’t even spare his name?

Seeing the terrifying look on the man’s face right then, Summer Shawcross was startled and immediately chickened out.

"Cough, cough... just kidding, I was only joking..." She gave an awkward little laugh and hurried to explain.

Even though she really thought that name was pretty good, she hadn’t expected to piss Noah Drexler off, so she could only rush to change her tune.

After all, she still hoped this little thing would live a long life. She couldn’t have it offend the one person in the house who absolutely couldn’t be offended on its very first day.

When he heard her say it was a joke, Noah Drexler’s expression eased a bit, though his face still didn’t look great.

"Then let’s call him Crystal Drexler." Summer Shawcross glanced at the heavy snow falling outside, then suddenly suggested.

She’d picked him up on a snowy day, so calling him Crystal Drexler was actually pretty meaningful.

Besides, today was Narsus City’s first snowfall of the winter, and it was beautiful.

"Madam, he’s a male dog. This name... maybe isn’t the best." Katherine Irving couldn’t help saying somewhat helplessly.

Crystal? No matter how you hear it, that doesn’t sound like a boy dog’s name. Are we sure he won’t end up with a complex later?

Hearing Katherine say that, Summer Shawcross just lowered her head unconcernedly, reached out to rub the puppy’s head, then softly asked him.

"Crystal Drexler, what do you think of this name?"

The little guy seemed to really like it. He nudged his head into her palm and wagged his tiny tail!

"See, he likes it!" A happy smile spread across Summer Shawcross’s face.

"..." Watching Summer Shawcross looking so pleased, Katherine Irving could only sigh...

Summer Shawcross played with Crystal Drexler for a while, then finally glanced at Noah Drexler, who’d been standing there without coming over, and couldn’t help telling him to come take a look.

"Noah Drexler, you should come look at him too. From now on, he’s one of our family members."

Hearing her, Noah Drexler only frowned and swept a look at the dog lying comfortably in the dog bed made from his down jacket, then showed a look of disgust.

"I’m not going."

Seeing that completely resistant expression on his face, Summer Shawcross paused, then a few extra hints of laughter appeared in her eyes as she couldn’t help asking him.

"You really scared of dogs?"

If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes today, she honestly couldn’t have imagined that Noah Drexler would actually be afraid of a little puppy!

"You talk too much." Noah Drexler’s expression sank. He glanced at her unhappily.

Watching Summer Shawcross deliberately teasing Noah Drexler, the butler at the side couldn’t help covering his mouth and laughing again, then proceeded to spill some of Noah Drexler’s childhood embarrassments to Summer Shawcross.
