Chapter 861: The Petty Man

After hearing her words, Noah Drexler’s expression became serious.

“Summer Shawcross, I don’t want other men staring at you!”

He still remembered when she was eighteen, they attended a banquet together. She wore a beautiful, expensive gown… those men’s eyes were practically glued to her!

Even now, thinking back on it, he couldn’t help but feel a bit irritated.

After Noah finished speaking, Summer paused for a moment.

After staring at him for a few seconds, she suddenly sighed and agreed in compromise.

“Alright then, I’ll go with you like this.”

Funny enough, if he had restricted her like this before, she would have definitely thought he was overly possessive.

But now, when he pettily said he didn’t like other men staring at her, she actually felt a bit happy inside.

Seeing her nod in agreement, a faint smile appeared on Noah’s face. He raised his hand to pinch her slightly fuller face, courtesy of pregnancy, and then praised her with satisfaction.

“Good girl.”

His action made Summer somewhat displeased, and she raised her hand to push his away.

“If you keep pinching, it’ll really get lopsided!”

Her face had gotten a bit rounder lately, and he seemed to enjoy pinching it more. If he kept it up, what if that side of her face kept getting bigger!

After all, she’s a public figure and needs to maintain some dignity.

Hearing her say this, Noah squinted his eyes briefly and then readily agreed with a quick movement of his Adam’s apple.

“Alright!”

As Noah’s voice fell and Summer was just about to breathe a sigh of relief, the man suddenly lifted his other hand and pinched the other side of her face.

“From now on, both sides together.” The man’s handsome face was filled with seriousness!

“Noah Drexler!” Summer gritted her teeth in anger. Was he trying to drive her crazy or what!

“Silly woman!” Seeing her angry expression, the man revealed an indulgent smile, and couldn’t help but mutter.

Having been pinched and then called silly, Summer felt even more displeased. She glared at him with gritted teeth and simply turned on her heel to leave the bedroom.

Noah leaned back on the sofa, watching her storm off, a smile tracing his handsome face. Then, he got up from the sofa, taking large strides to catch up with her.

Because of the snow, the traffic in Narsus City started to get congested.

As a result, even though Summer and Noah left early, they were still a few minutes late by the time they reached the restaurant.

As soon as Summer and Noah got out of the car, Flynn Hughes came out to meet them.

“Boss, everyone is waiting for you!”

Upon hearing this, Noah nodded slightly, then reached out to wrap Summer’s waist and led her toward the large private room in the restaurant.

After a short while, Summer followed Noah into the private room, where the large round table was already filled with people.

However, what surprised Summer was that each executive had brought a lady along with them.

As the two walked in, everyone stood up respectfully and greeted them.

“Boss, Mrs. Drexler!”

Noah merely lifted his gaze to glance at everyone, then sat down with Summer.

“Everyone, please sit,” Flynn Hughes quickly gestured for everyone to sit and then turned to Noah to explain.

“Boss, as soon as they heard you were bringing Mrs. Drexler, Mr. Gao and the others were afraid she might get bored, so they all brought their wives along.”
