My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively
Chapter 879 - 873: Her Smile Is So Warm
Listening to their conversation, Mrs. Gao’s expression wavered a bit, hesitantly looking at the two of them, her mood suddenly becoming incredibly complicated.
After struggling for a long time, Mrs. Gao couldn’t help but ask Summer Shawcross.
"But... can I really do this?"
She had never thought about divorce, nor had anyone ever mentioned it to her.
Summer Shawcross nodded, then continued to speak.
"Of course you can. If you want to file for divorce from Mr. Gao, I could also help you out a bit."
Mrs. Gao had been married to Mr. Gao for many years, and this time it was Mr. Gao’s fault. If they got divorced, she could take a considerable share of the assets. Instead of letting him use that money to support another woman outside, it would be better to end the marriage and take the portion that rightly belongs to her!
After Summer Shawcross finished speaking, Mrs. Gao thoughtfully nodded her head, and the hesitation that had been on her face gradually turned into determination.
"Alright, I’ve decided. I’m going to divorce him!"
Her life shouldn’t just be about a man who betrays her, and a mistress with no boundaries!
She had done all she could in this marriage. She had given what she needed to give, and tried what she needed to try.
It was him and that woman who had forced her step by step to this point!
Hearing Mrs. Gao say this, Summer Shawcross felt an inexplicable sense of relief.
She suddenly smiled, then looked down and took a sip of warm water from her thermos, then suggested to Mrs. Gao.
"Since you’ve already made up your mind, let’s not think about these bothersome issues anymore. It’s still early today, why don’t you join me for some shopping..."
Upon hearing that, Mrs. Gao smiled and couldn’t help but nod in agreement.
"Of course..."
Speaking, she couldn’t help but glance at Summer Shawcross a few times.
"Mrs. Drexler, you really are quite amazing."
She didn’t know why, but looking at Summer Shawcross’s smile, her mood suddenly felt much warmer.
"What?" Summer Shawcross didn’t hear what she said, and her face suddenly showed a puzzled expression.
"Nothing, let’s go shopping." Mrs. Gao gently shook her head and then said to her.
"Alright then..." Summer Shawcross nodded with a bewildered expression.
...
Evening time.
After shopping, Summer Shawcross returned home with a load of things.
Just as the car stopped in front of the villa, she saw a tall figure of a man striding over, reaching out to open the car door for her, and assisting her arm to help her out of the car.
Katherine Irving opened the trunk and had the servants come over to carry the items.
Bags of things were carried inside.
Summer Shawcross followed them in.
"Just put the things here, I’ll sort them out!" Summer Shawcross pointed to the coffee table on the side and then sat on the sofa.
The servant nodded, busily placing the items on the coffee table. Summer Shawcross sat on the sofa, sorting through them one by one.
Noah Drexler also sat down beside her, furrowing his brows as he looked at the pile of things on the coffee table.
"These are for the baby, there’s clothes, hats, and toys." Summer Shawcross separated almost half of the bags for the servant, who nodded and quickly took them away.
"These are for Crystal Drexler, snacks and a toy ball, plus a little bell collar." Summer Shawcross pursed her lips again.
At this point, there were only two tote bags left on the coffee table.
At this moment, the man beside Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but glance down at the two remaining tote bags on the coffee table, his eyes deepening.
