And so, Jiang Qiu and the others followed the Exiled Great Demon north toward Tai Lake. However, even with the Exiled Great Demon leading the way, the journey was exceptionally long. This was true even though the “slowest” member of their group was Ah Xiong, who was known for her explosive speed.

After all, Ah Xiong was at the Perfect Transformation Realm. Although she had not yet reached the level above the Transformation Realm, her explosive speed was incredible. And after multiple rounds of devouring and metamorphosing, not even experts at the Super True Dominator level—a tier above the Transformation Realm—could actually outmatch her. Her explosive power was immense, and her physical body was exceedingly formidable.

In other words, her speed was comparable to that of a Super True Dominator, not much slower than One-tailed and the others. Yet even so, it still took the group half a year to traverse the Beimu Mountain Range and reach its northern border.

This just went to show how enormous the Beimu Mountain Range truly was. During this long period, the Exiled Great Demon told Jiang Qiu and the others much about the First Celestial Realm, as well as some of the secrets of the Thirty-Sixth Celestial Realm.

As a former first-tier existence—a being from the strongest echelon just below the three apex powers—and a Chaos Bloodline Ancestor from Chaos Main City, he naturally knew a great many things.

Yes, he was a Chaos Bloodline Ancestor who had been exiled from Chaos Main City. There were not many Ancestors like him left in Chaos Main City, as they were beings born along with the Chaos long ago. They possessed incredible innate intelligence and a natural Cultivation Technique from birth. After a period of Cultivation, they had naturally reached a level above the True Body Realm.

As a Chaos Ancestor, he was also the progenitor of many of the Chaos Bloodlines currently in Chaos Main City; otherwise, he wouldn’t be called a Chaos Ancestor. In fact, if he hadn’t been defeated in the battle for the position of Chaos Main City’s Lord, he might now be one of the three apex powers.

And these matters naturally had to be explained starting from the very existence of the First Celestial Realm. It was said that long, long ago, before the heavens and earth were separated, there was only a vast expanse of Chaos. From it, countless Chaos God-Demons were born. This then led to the division of the Thirty-Six Celestial Realms. The Demon Race also originated from the Chaos Bloodline, having evolved from the Chaos Creatures of the past. However, their bloodline was relatively pure, meaning they were not as diverse as the other Demon Race. Therefore, most Demons were identical, all belonging to the same group. They were not like the other Demon Race, which included Golden Eagles, Nine-tailed Foxes, apes, and the like; they had no such distinctions.

Precisely because they lacked such distinctions, the Demon Race was able to gather quickly, form Settlements, and rapidly exploit the world’s resources. They went on to establish one Demon City after another, seizing control of the fertile lands outside the Primitive Ancient Forest. In contrast, because the other Demon Race came from many different groups, they failed to form Settlements in the outer regions for a long time. It was only in the middle regions, where there was sufficient military strength to serve as a deterrent, that Settlements gradually formed.

As for Chaos Main City in the very core, it couldn’t truly be called a city. It was another dimension entirely—a vast, vast space that was also one of the origin sites where Chaos Creatures were born. Within it lay opportunities to transcend the True Body Realm, but for many years, no one had been able to seize them. The Exiled Great Demon had ended up in his current predicament precisely because he had fought the Chaos City Lord for those resources back in the day.

If given the chance, he desperately wanted to enter Chaos Main City himself, make his return, and take back everything that belonged to him. Unfortunately, that was nearly impossible to achieve.

Similarly, the Imperial Capital of the Demon Race was also another dimension, not a place that could be entered from the surface of the First Celestial Realm. Within it also lay secrets of the origin of the Chaos Bloodline, holding the key to a possible evolution to the apex level—the possibility of attaining Enlightenment.

Likewise, Tai Lake, also an origin site, was the same. The Tai Python was a Chaos Creature who had existed from the very beginning. He guarded the north alone and was, without a doubt, an apex existence at the Dao Realm!

Of course, Tai Lake was not something that could be seen directly. If one was only after the Spirit Fruit resources on the surface, they could be obtained without entering the true Tai Lake. But to find the opportunity to become an apex existence, one had to enter the true Tai Lake.
