My Clones Can Cultivate
Chapter 237: I won
Chapter 236
Final Judgment…
After he said that, he brought his hand down. The enormous sword radiating immense power slammed downward, carrying enough force to totally erase Liyu from the surface of the earth.
The referee immediately increased the barrier around the camp, while Elder Ting upgraded the barrier around the stage to make sure the audience remained safe. And then Liyu was faced with immense pressure.
As the sword came down, before it even reached him, overwhelming pressure slammed into his body, and he felt his life flash right before his eyes. Death is here.
The thought flashed through his mind. And then…
Ready.
Lazy Rayden spoke and passed it to Liyu. An array formation formed in Liyu’s right hand as he raised it above his head with all his might.
Convergence!
A dark circular array spread outward, with Liyu at its center. It was like a large circular shield. A second later, the Wind Sword slammed hard into the array.
Liyu’s body, which was already aching, was overwhelmed by pain and agony unlike anything he had ever experienced before. Blood oozed out of his pores as a terrifying, violent shriek escaped Liyu’s mouth.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”
The pain slammed into Liyu’s body, mind, and soul at the same time. His entire body was filled with immense pain as all his pores seemed to have been torn open, with endless waves of blood oozing from them.
The pain was far worse than anything Liyu had ever endured before. His mind became clouded in an instant, and he struggled to remain conscious.
“If you lose control, we are dead,” Lazy Rayden said from the side. His tone wasn’t scared, though one would never be able to tell that he was also going to die.
It was as if he didn’t know that he would also die…
Or maybe he simply didn’t care.
Liyu gritted his teeth and forced his mind to clear through sheer willpower. Then he pushed once more.
His bones groaned as if they were going to tear apart at any moment, but he didn’t yield. He pushed forward despite the pain, driven by his sheer refusal to lose.
He pushed the Convergence Array Formation once more as the Final Judgment started to sink right into it. But with every mini-inch it sank into the array, the more weight slammed heavily into Liyu.
His back arched more and more downward as he pressed against the sheer force of the attack. Liyu’s eyes started to leak blood.
The same happened with his ears. His nose. Even the other pores across his body.
He would die like this. There was no doubt about it. If things continued at this pace, he was going to die sooner rather than later.
But since pain wasn’t enough, he decided to go over his goals. Speaking of goals…
What was his goal to begin with?
Well, they weren’t many. He had been given a new life…
And he was not about to let it all go to waste here. He had a lot to achieve.
He never got to do anything meaningful in his last life. This time, he would make sure everything was different.
He would make a difference.
And to do that…
He couldn’t die here.
Not a chance.
The pain was getting numb as his body was failing. But Liyu didn’t give up.
With his voice screaming at the top of his lungs, he pushed the Convergence Array upward and fortified it with his Primal Qi. Not just a small amount.
All the Primal Qi he could muster from the over 1,500+ fully filled Qi Beads he had with him.
The result?
Well, without it being surprising, it gave the array a massive boost. But the sword still sank deeper…
And deeper…
The voice of Lazy Rayden appeared in Liyu’s ear the next moment.
“Okay, now use the second array.”
Information about the second part of the array was transferred into Liyu’s consciousness. His gaze sharpened as another circular array formed right in his second hand.
This one was like the opposite of the first array since it was totally white in color.
Divergence.
Liyu groaned and raised his hand upward. The array formed and glowed brightly.
The Final Judgment sank deep into the Convergence Array. And then its energy, which had been converged inside the Convergence Array, was diverged through the Divergence Array.
Several rays of white light, each several meters long and carrying immense power, burst forth and spread through the sky.
Shi Tian, who was in the air with his other hand ruined beyond words, saw that his final attack had failed.
And now…
He was in danger.
He wanted to run away, but he was too late. Seeing the numerous attacks rushing through the air, he tried to avoid them.
But they were too numerous. Too powerful. And they were too fast.
He was able to dodge many of them. But then…
Splurt!
A large hole appeared in his stomach as one of the white ray beams tore right through him. But that wasn’t the end.
In fact…
It was only the beginning.
More ray beams struck him. Pain blanketed his entire existence, and he wasn’t even able to scream.
After all, the feeling of the fate he had lost made him shudder and almost lose his soul.
While Shi Tian was in despair, the entire arena was totally astonished by the rays of light spreading through the air.
“It is beautiful…”
Someone said with bated breath.
With the fading night as the background, the white beams were like shooting stars that stole the breath away from the entire crowd.
Shi Tian’s gaze dimmed as he started to fall from the air. The shooting stars filled his eyes.
There was a myth that one should make a wish when they saw a shooting star. But he had no wish.
Or perhaps…
He had one.
He didn’t want to die.
That wish, though?
He doubted it would come to pass.
It is over for me…
Shi Tian’s body crashed heavily into the ground with a loud bang.
Then…
There was silence.
Soon, the rays of light faded as well, and the awed crowd slowly realized that there was a final battle going on.
They immediately turned their attention back to the match that was happening.
Shi Tian was lying in a pool of his own blood. More than that…
He was on his last leg.
With so many holes in his body, he was bound to die soon. All gazes turned toward the second figure.
For a while, only the dark and white arrays could be seen. They merged into one…
And then they faded.
In their place was Liyu.
He seemed to be on his last leg as well. However, a second later…
As if reality itself had been rewritten, all the wounds on him seemed to vanish. Similar with his aura and presence that had dominated the air a while ago.
The ashen robe around him vanished. The Battle Skin vanished.
And in their place was the tattered dark robe that Liyu had worn at the start of it all.
His dark, long hair was tattered and looked totally unkempt. But apart from how he looked…
He looked to be okay.
Ding! Sacrifice accepted…
Liyu’s dark eyes snapped open as he looked toward Shi Tian. Then he bent down and picked up the Void Piercer.
With that, he started to walk forward.
One step…
Then another…
And another…
Until he finally stood before the totally and utterly spent Shi Tian.
He looked down at him for a while. Then his pale face bloomed with a sweet smile.
“I told you I will win…”
