My Dream Connects to 3000 Years in the Future

Chapter 359 301: Diary Revelation! The Truth About God and the Extraterrestrial Civilization

  • Next Chapter

In the Ecological Garden.

Chu Bamboo slowly rose, rubbing his temples. "Nuwa No. 17, pull up my diary."

The next moment, the Little Mushroom Head that had been waiting by Chu Bamboo's bedside projected a holographic screen.

Chu Bamboo's gaze swept over it casually, but then his expression suddenly froze. "...This is? It's changed!"

"May 3rd. Following the plan based on my prior experience, I infiltrated the ruins of the Maya Civilization! After successfully arming the workers, I launched a successful uprising... However, there were some unexpected complications along the way!

We ran into someone who could control an 'Artifact.' I had to intervene personally, and of course, I captured him.

Fortunately, he wasn't a tough nut to crack. Under brutal torture, he told me everything.

Hmm... He's a codenamed member of the Golden Dawn... Codename: Moderation.

His true identity is the master of the Old Mo Family's underground network. In other words, he controls the Old Mo Family's assassins, their contracts, and several drug cartels! You could call him the uncrowned king of the Old Mo Family.

And why was he there? Heh, what a coincidence... It's because I went on a rampage in Mexico City yesterday! When word got out, he got worried that I was targeting him...

He panicked and fled to the ruins of the Maya Civilization... After all, the place is heavily fortified and offers top-notch secrecy!

And then... well, that was the end of that!"

Accompanying this diary entry was a photo of a man—

He looked to be a man of mixed Mexican and white North American descent. His hair was pale white, but his face was nearly free of wrinkles, and his gaze was as sharp as a North American eagle's.

Chu Bamboo: "..."

'What do you even call this? You try to plant a flower and it won't bloom, but an accidentally planted willow grows into a forest!'

For a moment, Chu Bamboo didn't know how to react. The whole situation was just too absurd.

As Chu Bamboo read on, he noticed that the following section of the diary had numerous corrections. In the blank space at the very bottom of the entry, an extra note had been added.

"That bastard 'Moderation' wasn't honest! Some of the intel I tortured out of him turned out to be false. I've made corrections after future events proved them wrong! So what you're seeing now is the most credible version."

Chu Bamboo's eyes narrowed as he continued reading.

And what he read next was a bolt from the blue.

"We may have misunderstood something! Or rather, a theory we'd vaguely suspected might actually be correct—

God might not be a representative of a so-called Extraterrestrial Civilization. He's a native!

Is it possible that God is simply an incredibly powerful Transcendent who left Earth to fight a war against another civilization in outer space?

Just like the Transcendents of the Ancient Divine Continent couldn't possibly be Aliens! They were just powerful Transcendents...

If you think about it from this angle, a lot of things that were confusing before start to make sense! Why the Golden Dawn is so adamant that God can't be an Alien, why their faith in him is so unshakable... because it might be true!

And why would God leave behind the so-called Holy Bible, which says that anyone who becomes a Cultivator in this day and age is the Saint and can gain control of the Golden Dawn—of course, just because he said it doesn't mean it's that easy! You get what I mean.

God might have left this prophecy with Earth's best interests at heart!

Just as we speculated before, God might possess some kind of omniscient, All-Powerful quality, perhaps similar to our own unique ability—which allowed him to understand so much and make plans far in advance."

Chu Bamboo's brow furrowed. 'If that's the case, then what about the so-called law of technological conservation? And who is the one contacting the Golden Dawn, even giving the order to brand me the Son of Satan?'

"It couldn't be..."

A sudden theory struck Chu Bamboo, and he drew in a sharp breath.

'It's probably the civilization that God was fighting.'

'Maybe that civilization cracked... God's communication channel with Earth! So, with God's current status unknown, possibly even dead—they deliberately sent specific messages...'

'That would even explain why their communications are so infrequent! Either God did something to sabotage the channel, and they've only partially broken through... or they're afraid Earthlings will spot the deception.'

"But that still doesn't explain... why would the Extraterrestrial Civilization give technological information to the Golden Dawn?"

Chu Bamboo couldn't wrap his head around it. If the Extraterrestrial Civilization feared Earth, wouldn't it make more sense for them to blockade the planet at all costs? Wouldn't that be the normal reaction?

Wait!

Chu Bamboo's eyes narrowed as a thought suddenly struck him. 'If you apply this to a real-world example... when the White-headed Eagle tried to choke them with sanctions, it forced them to become self-reliant! But what if the White-headed Eagle had chosen to flood their market with cheap products instead...?'

A cold sweat ran down Chu Bamboo's back.

'If you assume from the start that the entity they're in contact with is a malicious Extraterrestrial Civilization, and not the God the Golden Dawn worships...'

'...then aren't their actions a deliberate attempt to infiltrate and guide technological development... to suppress the native civilization's own technological progress as much as possible?'

'And...' Chu Bamboo thought about the White-headed Eagle of today. Compared to its past, he felt its technology had truly gone down a perverse path.

'Heck, the White-headed Eagle's society is in a state of complete and utter chaos...'

'Based on what is known, the Golden Dawn played a huge part in all of this...'

After pondering for a long time, Chu Bamboo let out a soft breath. "If that's really the case... then this enemy isn't just terrifying. Their malevolence is utterly damnable..."

Chu Bamboo looked further down the page. As expected of his other self, his 'good brother' had not only reached a similar conclusion... but had even taken it a step further, deducing things the current Chu Bamboo hadn't even considered.

"There is another possibility... God's communication channel with Earth has been cracked by more than one Extraterrestrial Civilization!

It's possible that several Extraterrestrial Civilizations are giving orders to the Golden Dawn at the same time... Some of these civilizations might be unwilling to give them technology, but others are...

This would also explain why we've noticed that many of the Golden Dawn's strategies are contradictory...

Well, that's just a theory for now. If I verify it in the future, I'll mention it later."

"I'm getting a bit off-topic... Anyway, I suspect it wasn't just God. The ancient sages of our Divine Continent, and the wise men of many other regions, may have all done what 'God' did—

And these ruins of the Maya Civilization are, in all likelihood, the very preparations left behind by the ancient sages of the Maya!"
