My Evolving Tentacle System: I Steal Talents

Chapter 46: Fourth Floor

Chapter 46: Fourth Floor

He stopped at the gate and turned back for one last look.

The Frost Titan was waving at him. Actually waving, like a child saying goodbye to a parent on the first day of school.

"BYE WARM BLOOD. I MISS YOU ALREADY."

Nacho stepped through the gate and into floor four without another word.

Ten more levels to evolution. And apparently, I can charm dungeon bosses now. Great. That’s great. Everything is completely normal and I’m not questioning my entire existence at all.

***

Floor four was mercifully normal.

No fire. No ice. No emotionally compromised boss monsters trying to date him. Just good old-fashioned stone corridors filled with good old-fashioned undead that wanted to tear him apart.

[You’ve entered the dungeon: Abandoned Quarry - Floor 4]

[Floor Boss: Bone Colossus (Legendary) | Level 50]

[Warning: This is the final floor. Exit gate will appear upon boss defeat.]

Level 50. Ten levels above me. And it’s Legendary rank.

The undead came in waves. Skeletons and zombies and things that were somewhere in between, their bones wrapped in rotting flesh and their eye sockets burning with unholy green fire. They were weak individually, but there were hundreds of them, pouring out of side passages and clawing their way up from the ground.

Nacho waded through them like a farmer harvesting wheat.

His new Talents were incredible. Absolute Zero let him freeze enemies solid with a touch, their bodies shattering like glass when he followed up with a dagger strike. Ice Domain gave him control over the temperature in his immediate vicinity, letting him create barriers and projectiles out of thin air.

Combined with his existing arsenal, he was a one-man army.

[You’ve slain: Skeleton Warrior (Uncommon) | Level 35 x47. +16,450 Experience]

[You’ve slain: Rotting Hulk (Rare) | Level 42 x12. +10,080 Experience]

[You’ve slain: Bone Archer (Uncommon) | Level 38 x31. +11,780 Experience]

[Level Up! Level 40 → Level 44]

[+20 Free Stat Points]

[First Tentacle: 11,249 → 11,159 Kills remaining.]

The experience was flowing like water now, each kill pushing him closer to that magical level 50 threshold. He dumped his stat points into Mana and Perception, boosting his ability to sense danger and sustain prolonged fights.

The Bone Colossus was waiting in the final chamber.

It was massive, easily thirty feet tall, constructed from the fused skeletons of thousands of victims. Every inch of its body was covered in bones, from its skull-crowned head to its clawed feet. It carried a sword made of sharpened vertebrae that looked like it could cleave through a building.

[Bone Colossus (Legendary) | Level 50]

[HP: 50,000 / 50,000]

Fifty thousand HP. That’s insane.

But Nacho had grown too. His stats had nearly doubled since entering the dungeon, and his new Talents gave him options he’d never had before.

Let’s see how this thing handles the cold.

He activated Ice Domain at full power, dropping the temperature in the chamber by fifty degrees in an instant. Frost spread across the floor, climbing the walls, coating the Colossus in a thin layer of ice that crackled and groaned as the creature moved.

The boss didn’t seem to care. It raised its sword and swung, the blade cutting through the frozen air with a sound like screaming souls.

Nacho dodged, barely, and countered with a Storm Manipulation bolt that struck the creature’s knee. Lightning arced through the bone structure, blackening joints and cracking cartilage.

[-4,200 Damage!]

[Bone Colossus: 45,800 / 50,000 HP]

Four thousand damage. At this rate, I’ll be here all day.

He needed a different approach.

The Colossus swung again, and this time Nacho didn’t dodge. He met the blade with both hands, catching the edge between his palms. Titan Body absorbed the impact, his enhanced strength holding the weapon in place.

The creature tried to pull back, but Nacho held on. He climbed the sword like a ladder, sprinting up the blade and launching himself at the Colossus’s chest.

His tentacle extended, invisible and hungry.

He plunged it directly into the creature’s ribcage.

[Lewd Act Performed: Tentacle Insertion]

[Warning: Target is undead. Charm effect significantly reduced.]

[Target’s receptivity: 3%.]

Three percent? That’s it?

The Colossus roared and grabbed Nacho with its free hand, squeezing hard enough to crack ribs despite his enhanced durability.

[-1,200 HP | 1,640 / 2,840]

He grit his teeth and pushed the tentacle deeper, searching for whatever passed as a core in this pile of animated bones.

[Target’s receptivity: 7%.]

[Target’s receptivity: 12%.]

[Target’s receptivity: 18%.]

The creature’s grip loosened slightly. Its movements became jerky, uncoordinated. The green fire in its eye sockets flickered.

It’s working. Slowly, but it’s working.

He kept pushing, kept probing, kept flooding the creature with Charm effect through his tentacle. The numbers climbed, percentage by painful percentage.

[Target’s receptivity: 34%.]

[Target’s receptivity: 51%.]

[Target’s receptivity: 67%.]

The Colossus dropped its sword. Its hand opened, releasing Nacho gently onto the ground. It stood there swaying, a confused expression on its skull face.

[Target’s receptivity: 89%.]

[Target’s receptivity: 100%.]

[Charm saturation complete.]

[Lewd Act Performed: Extended Tentacle Insertion]

[Talent Stolen from Bone Colossus: Undying Legion (Legendary)]

[Bonus! Target receptivity at 100%.]

[Talent Stolen from Bone Colossus: Death’s Embrace (Epic)]

[Status Effect Applied: Dominated]

The Bone Colossus knelt down, bringing its massive skull face level with Nacho’s.

"MASTER," it said, voice like grinding tombstones. "WHAT IS YOUR COMMAND?"

I’m going to need so much therapy.

"Stay here. Guard this floor. Don’t let anyone pass who isn’t me."

"AS YOU WISH, MASTER."

The green gate appeared, glowing softly in the darkness behind the kneeling colossus.

[Dungeon Clear: Abandoned Quarry (Legendary)]

[You’ve obtained a reward: +25 Free Stat Points]

[You’ve obtained a reward: Quarry Master’s Ring (Epic)]

[Level Up! Level 44 → Level 48]

[+20 Free Stat Points]

Level 48. Two more to go.

Nacho walked toward the exit, his mind already racing through the implications of what he’d just discovered.

His tentacle didn’t just work on humanoids. It worked on everything. Monsters, bosses, undead abominations. As long as he could make contact long enough to build up the Charm effect, he could dominate anything.

That’s broken. That’s so incredibly broken.

He stepped through the green gate and emerged into the cool night air outside the quarry. The stars were out, scattered across the sky like diamonds on black velvet.

He checked his final status.
