Carlos’s eyes widened at the description, and he looked at Cosmic who was already grinning wider.

"See? I am awesome, right?"

"Too fucking awesome, bro," he spoke. "We need this no matter what, what’s the price?" he asked.

Cosmic looked at it once and took a few seconds before he gave a number. "This guy needs cooked food. Seriously, man, the only thing I can tell from all these trades is that what this world needs the most is food," Cosmic spoke with a sigh.

"No matter how good your troops are, no matter how good your extra weapons are or other buildings, nothing will last if you don’t have food. And it’s crazy how troops become choosy with what they eat the more they level up. It’s like it is engraved in them." He kept speaking.

Carlos nodded and couldn’t help but feel jitters in his spine. "Not going to lie, bro... We might have cooked a little too good by setting up a kitchen and getting Mira to us. Hell, even the other hearthkeepers are already able to make rare grade food which is also good but Mira is just... too skilled?"

Cosmic laughed. "Simple words but you got the thought right. It really was a good decision to process it all on our own. I won’t lie though, at first I was going to give you advice to sell the crops you get as they are without processing. It was to help you focus on conquests but I am glad I didn’t say anything at that time."

Carlos nodded but soon realized he still didn’t know what the lord needed. "What was the requirement?"

"He says he wants to have a High grade food agreement. He already knows our average rate per serving so he asked to get a 40% discount for a few months of his daily food requirements. It’s not that predatory as usual but I will leave it to you."

"Hmmm, 40% huh. What is our average rate for those? Not Mira’s Ultra-high-quality ones."

Cosmic opened the older sales. "The High-quality meals you sold for ore went for 10 and 12 each. Eleven Iron Ore on average between those two. I would use that as the reference, then agree on a fixed rate with him."

"How many does he need every day?"

"Ten. He wants them for a group of troops, not everyone in his territory."

Carlos counted it in his head, then opened the calculation to be sure. Ten meals would normally bring 110 Iron Ore. 40% off left 66.

"Two months," he said. "60 days, 10 meals a day. 66 Iron Ore for each delivery and he sends the blueprint now."

Cosmic looked at the total. "600 meals. Normally 6600 ore, but he pays 3960 across the agreement. We are giving him 2640 in discounts for this blueprint."

"And he gets to keep buying good food without searching for it every morning. Don’t forget that part."

"I won’t." Cosmic smiled and began writing. "High-quality meals, not the advanced dishes. Anything more than ten is a different order."

Carlos nodded. He wanted the kitchen but he wasn’t going to give someone a discount on everything Mira could ever make.

While Cosmic waited for the reply, Carlos called Mira over and showed her the listing and the proposed agreement. She read the meal quantity first, then the recipes.

"10 of these a day, we can easily do, Carlos," she said. "The Hearthkeepers can prepare them. We have the ingredients too."

"And where would you want this?"

Mira pointed toward the open space beyond their kitchen. "There. Close enough that we can carry things between them. I want to see inside before deciding who works where."

Cosmic looked up before Carlos could answer.

"He accepted. He wants the first delivery tomorrow."

Carlos read the terms himself. The blueprint was payment for the fixed 60-day discount, with 66 Iron Ore still due for each accepted 10-meal delivery. No extra ingredient contribution had been offered, so Ironroot would provide the ingredients. He checked that the food grade and daily quantity were written correctly before accepting.

The Stonehearth Kitchen Blueprint appeared in his inventory right away.

"Got it," he said, grinning at Mira. "Both things you asked for."

She smiled back, then pointed at the ground again. "Put it there, Carlos. I can’t wait anymore."

Carlos laughed and opened the building preview where she wanted it. Wood x200, Stone x250 and Iron x30 were taken from their supplies when he confirmed.

Stone walls rose around the wide hearth. Two oven mouths formed beside it, followed by the long tables from the description. Mira went straight through the doorway with a Hearthkeeper behind her, already looking at the distance between the ovens and the preparation space.

Carlos stopped outside for a moment and looked from one kitchen to the other.

Yesterday, Mira had asked him for more room. Now she had two buildings to work with.

"Carlos" Mira called making him get out of his trance.

"Yes, my beloved cook." Carlos tried to tease her but she still stayed serious. It told him she was going to say something important.

"Since we have this kitchen now, I will tell you something that I wished I should not..." She spoke and continued right away.

"AS you have already seen, I make very good main dishes and can take it upto Ultra grade but that stops at dishes. What I can’t do better and what this new kitchen has is a very good oven."

"I would like you to find a new cooking barrack but this time, it should be a baker. That way, we could make a lot more diverse things."

Carlos could tell, Mira was ashamed of admitting what she was not good at.

And that made him have a type of respect for her that he thought he already had but got renewed just now.
