My Harem of Dangerous and Crazy Women as a Reincarnated Necromancer

Chapter 379: A Conversation That Can’t Be Put Off Any Longer

"I’m not entirely sure this was a good idea, darling," Mary murmured, resting her cheek on Mark’s shoulder. "I think you broke them."

She was comfortably settled on Mark’s lap, wrapped in one of his robes, which barely managed to close over her big belly.

Across from them, on the other hand, Ely and Alice seemed to have stopped functioning altogether.

Ely had been staring at the wall for several minutes with her mouth slightly open and her hands motionless on the table.

Meanwhile Alice, sitting beside her, wasn’t much better.

She remained seated with impeccable posture, though her empty eyes stayed fixed on the floor as if her soul had temporarily left her body.

"Don’t worry about them," Mark assured her as Mary stayed hugging him, her belly pressed against his body. "I’m sure they’ll go back to normal soon."

Mary looked at him intently and raised an eyebrow.

He held her gaze for a couple of seconds.

"...Probably."

"Wow. You really inspire confidence."

Mark sighed and ran both hands over his face.

It wasn’t as if he could have avoided this situation.

Ever since he had returned from the dream world, he had known that sooner or later he would have to explain who Mary really was, the past they shared and, above all, the deep love they felt for each other.

The problem was that every time he tried to imagine that conversation, he found a perfectly valid reason to leave it for another day.

Unfortunately, Ely and Alice walking in right while he was fucking Mary had wiped out all his excuses at once.

He could no longer hide her, change the subject, or ask them to come back later. All he could do was sit them down in front of him and spill the whole truth at once.

And just as he had imagined countless times, it had gone exactly as badly as he expected.

Ely hadn’t let him finish practically anything.

Every time Mark managed to start an explanation, she interrupted with another question, each more indignant than the last.

What the hell was going on. Since when had they been sneaking around to fuck. Why Mary of all people. Whether he had gone completely insane.

Mark answered her questions as best he could.

But to Ely his answers weren’t enough. To the point that she was starting to believe her master was under some kind of mind control.

Alice, for her part, didn’t even need to shout.

She simply stayed by the door with her arms crossed and her eyes fixed on Mary, so calm that Mark would have preferred she react like Ely.

Mark did everything he could to make his wives understand what had happened in the dream world, but quickly discovered it was much harder to tell than to remember.

Every detail needed another detail to make sense and, when he tried to summarize, everything sounded even worse.

Without the right context, all Ely and Alice seemed to hear was that he had ended up sleeping with the same woman who had kidnapped him for seven months and had tried to kill him.

There was no way to explain it with words.

And it was precisely then, in the middle of that disaster, that his brain came up with the solution.

If he couldn’t tell them, he would show them.

Ely and Alice were connected to him through the mental link. Until then, Mark had only used it to talk to them or to sense where they were.

But if he could transmit his thoughts through that bond, perhaps he could transmit his memories too.

Before trying, however, he turned to Mary and asked if she minded. Because those memories weren’t only his.

Many of them also belonged to Mary and contained moments she had shared only with him.

In any other circumstance, she would probably have refused without a second thought.

But this was no ordinary day.

She had just been reunited with Mark after so long without seeing him, and that alone was enough to keep her in an extraordinarily good mood.

Not even Ely and Alice’s interruption had managed to spoil it much.

In fact, there was something about this whole situation that Mary was enjoying more than she should.

The look on both their faces when they saw the thick cum of the man they loved so much dripping from her pussy in large amounts had been quite entertaining.

But witnessing, front row, the mix of horror, disbelief, and despair on their faces when they realized that a child of Mark’s was growing in her belly had fully awakened that sadistic streak she loved to feed.

So, although she still wasn’t thrilled with the idea of sharing certain memories, she ended up agreeing.

With her consent, Mark opened the mental link and let them see everything.

Both his old life and Mary’s.

The apartment building where the two of them met, without Mark ever understanding how much he meant to her. Everything Mary had done, thought, and felt.

Then, the deaths of both within just a few weeks of each other, and their later reunion in this world.

When the last memory faded, the room fell into a strange silence.

Ely and Alice were still seated across from them, completely motionless, as if their minds were still trying to sort through centuries of memories that had just been dumped on them all at once.

Several minutes passed before Ely finally blinked.

"So she... and you... in the other world... no... this is... too much," Ely murmured before sinking back into her thoughts.

She put her hands to her face and stayed like that for a good while, breathing deeply, elbows on the table.

Mark couldn’t tell whether she was crying or simply trying to sort out everything she had just seen.

Alice, beside her, was still looking at the table, but she had let her good hand fall onto Ely’s arm without saying anything.

The silence stretched so long that Mark began to think he had made a mistake, or that showing them had backfired.

Ely lowered her hands and took a deep breath before straightening in her chair, as if she had finally managed to put everything in its place.

"Master--"

But then the door flew open.

"I brought tea!"

Zilu came into the room with a tray in her hands, a steaming teapot, several cups, and a plate of cookies balancing in the middle.

She was beaming from ear to ear, her rabbit ears held high.

"I heard Ely and Alice had finished their shift, so I thought they could use something to relax," she said as she crossed the room. "It’s a blend my mother taught me. She says it’s great for the nerves and..."

Zilu stopped dead and fixed her eyes on Mary.

"Master... who is she?" Zilu asked, confused. "And why does she smell exactly like you?"

"..."
