This was all just speculation on Chu Feng’s part. After all, it was hard to make a firm judgment before the outcome was decided.

The two combatants were more or less evenly matched in strength. The deciding factor would be who could seize an opportunity first.

“I can’t even follow it anymore. It’s making my head spin,” Su Miaoke said with a look of resignation. All this back-and-forth fighting seemed pointless and incredibly boring to her.

Their battle felt like a stalemate where neither could gain the upper hand, and as time dragged on, the audience naturally started to lose interest.

“In any case, they won’t be finishing this fight anytime soon. You can head back first if you’re tired,” Chu Feng said.

Just then, he happened to notice the people from the Spirit Sword Valley, and they were staring right back at him.

Even from a great distance, he could see the furious hatred in their eyes. They were brimming with rage toward him.

Chu Feng paid them no mind at all.

He just grinned and went back to watching the battle.

The smile was full of provocation. ‘Come and challenge me if you dare.’

Once a battle began, it was almost always a fight to the death. Only a small number of people would choose to wager items as stakes, keeping their lives out of it.

The two experts at the Martial Arts Limit from the Wudang Sect and Blood Blade Manor had chosen a life-and-death battle. One of them had to die, or the fight would never end.

Even those who had reached the Martial Arts Limit had to fight so desperately.

‘The people from the Spirit Sword Valley haven’t made a move or challenged me yet,’ Chu Feng thought. ‘It’s most likely because they still can’t figure out how strong I am, so they don’t dare to act.’

‘Once they get a clear picture, they’ll definitely come for me.’

Before long, Chu Feng saw the Vice Valley Master of the Spirit Sword Valley conferring with the Martial Arts Venerables from the Snow Sword Sect and the Snow Mountain Sect.

Their gazes were extremely hostile, radiating intense killing intent.

“Everyone, our Spirit Sword Valley has assessed Chu Feng’s strength. We believe he’s likely a bit stronger than the Martial Arts Peak Realm, but he shouldn’t have reached the Martial Arts Limit. Who do you think should be the first to challenge him?” the Vice Valley Master of the Spirit Sword Valley asked.

“My Snow Mountain Sect, the Snow Sword Sect, and the Celestial Sword Sect all belong to the Great Snow Mountain. The Martial Arts Grand Ceremony isn’t officially over yet, so we can’t make a move on him. It would be breaking the rules, and the Seven Kills Sword Master would not allow it,” Venerable Xue Feng said.

“Yes, that’s a bit troublesome. For now, we can only ask your Spirit Sword Valley to make the first move, or find someone else to do it,” Xue Fengjian added with a nod.

Although he hated Chu Feng to the bone and desperately wanted to eliminate him,

he wasn’t a fool. If he attacked Chu Feng before the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony was over, the Seven Kills Sword Master would certainly not let him off the hook.

It would be a breach of the rules, and the entire Snow Sword Sect would likely face condemnation from the other sects of the Great Snow Mountain.

“Xue Wujian, is it true that Chu Feng sent you flying with a single sword strike? And you were injured?” the Vice Valley Master of the Spirit Sword Valley inquired.

“It’s true. That guy is despicable. His strength is immense. As much as I hate to admit he’s powerful, it’s the truth. He’s at least a fair bit stronger than me,” Xue Wujian said.

He hadn’t wanted to admit any of this—it was too humiliating, after all. But now they were all gathered to discuss how to deal with Chu Feng.

Therefore, concealing the truth at this moment would do him no good; it would only cause trouble if something went wrong later.

“I think his strength is probably on par with Venerable Xue Feng’s,” Xue Fengjian said with a nod.

“I can’t say for sure about that. But the man has always been arrogant and looks down on everyone. This probably has nothing to do with the Celestial Sword Sect Leader; he might just be that strong on his own,” Venerable Xue Feng said.

“I agree with that assessment,” Xue Fengjian said, nodding. He had felt the same way when he faced Chu Feng, a faint sense of mortal danger.

“Hmm, in that case, we must be cautious when dealing with Chu Feng. If worse comes to worst, we can wait until after the Martial Arts Grand Ceremony to make a move. That would be safer,” said Venerable Xue Feng.

“No need. We’ll kill him right here during the tournament. A life-and-death battle on stage! I want everyone to know just how miserable the consequences are for daring to offend my Spirit Sword Valley!” the Vice Valley Master of the Spirit Sword Valley declared coldly.

Her hatred for Chu Feng had reached its absolute limit; she wasn’t willing to wait a second longer.

“Right now, Blood Blade Manor and the Wudang Sect are locked in a life-and-death battle on stage, and we don’t know who will die in the end. Chu Feng’s strength is hard to gauge. It’s better for everyone to be careful,” Venerable Xue Feng warned.

“That’s simple. We’ll just have the Changfeng Sect send someone up to test him. We’ll probe him first and see just how strong he really is. The Sect Leader of the Changfeng Sect is no weakling; he might be able to force Chu Feng to reveal his true strength.”

“This is the perfect opportunity to kill him legitimately. Otherwise, once the tournament is over and he returns to the Celestial Sword Sect, it will be much harder to kill him. The Celestial Sword Sect Leader is incredibly powerful, and he’s known for being fiercely protective of his disciples,” the Vice Valley Master of the Spirit Sword Valley said.
