My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building
Chapter 433: 7 Wins in a Row
Slaying seven men in a row had taken the entire night.
If Chu Feng had been serious, it probably wouldn’t have even taken him two hours to slay them all.
He had intentionally dragged out the fight to give his opponents the impression that he was exhausted.
Of course, even so, Chu Feng’s feat was still terrifying.
Slaying seven masters of the Martial Arts Peak Realm in a row—anyone who heard this news would be utterly shocked.
Meanwhile, the battle between Shadow Blade of Blood Blade Manor and Han Hao, the Sect Leader of the Wudang Sect, was still raging. No victor had been decided, and it looked as though the fight would continue for some time.
After all, both of them had reached the Martial Arts Limit, the absolute pinnacle, so their stamina was immense.
“Old hag, you call this strength? Sending them up here just to die? Bring out someone stronger! If you can’t, why don’t you come up and fight me yourself? You’re a real snake, aren’t you? Always making others charge to the front while you hide in the back and watch the show.”
“I see you’re all a bunch of cowards. Every one of you is in the Martial Arts Peak Realm, yet not one dares to fight me. And you still have the nerve to run your mouths?” Chu Feng sneered, his eyes brimming with fighting spirit.
‘They want to kill me?’ Chu Feng thought. ‘Am I going to let them get what they want? Not a chance.’
This time, Chu Feng would make them understand the meaning of regret.
“Don’t get arrogant, Chu Feng!” the Vice Valley Master of Spirit Sword Valley snapped, fury blazing in her eyes.
The rage in her heart burned even hotter. She hadn’t expected this Chu Feng to be so powerful, to slay seven men in a row.
But despite her fury, she didn’t quite dare to step onto the platform herself, terrified she would be the next one to die.
“What’s the matter? Scared to come up?” Chu Feng said. “Then get lost. When you finally work up the nerve to challenge me, I’ll be ready. I’ll be waiting for you in the Venerable Hall!”
Chu Feng then walked off the dueling platform, breathing heavily. As he stepped down, he deliberately let his body tremble, making it seem as if he were weak and had consumed a great deal of energy.
This was all an act Chu Feng was putting on for the Vice Valley Master of Spirit Sword Valley. It was the only way to lower the woman’s guard. ‘Then,’ he thought, ‘I’ll get on the platform and cut that old hag down with a single strike.’
The Vice Valley Master of Spirit Sword Valley stared intently, her eyes narrowed as she sized him up.
Even so, she didn’t dare fight Chu Feng. This was a battle to the death, after all. One wrong move and it would be all over.
Besides, Chu Feng’s record was truly terrifying. Slaying seven opponents had left a psychological scar on her.
It wasn’t just her. Anyone who witnessed it was left completely stunned.
“Elder Sister,” one of the old women beside the Vice Valley Master of Spirit Sword Valley said, looking at her.
The look in their eyes was obvious: they wanted to kill Chu Feng right then and there.
But the Vice Valley Master of Spirit Sword Valley had too many concerns. She didn’t dare take the risk.
The main issue was that she hadn’t reached the Martial Arts Limit. At best, she was at the Mid-stage Martial Arts Peak Realm, still a ways off from the absolute limit.
This left her feeling deeply uneasy, afraid of some unforeseen twist.
How could she dare gamble with her life? If that bastard Chu Feng killed her, it would be too late for regrets.
And so, she was deeply unsettled.
On top of that, Chu Feng’s combat prowess was ferocious, and he possessed the Heaven-Slaying Sword Technique.
He had won seven fights in a row, and he hadn’t even used the Heaven-Slaying Sword Technique yet.
“Let’s not be hasty. We’ll go back and discuss our options first,” the Vice Valley Master of Spirit Sword Valley said. “There’s something strange about this kid. He’s too strong.” Unless she reached the Martial Arts Limit herself, she would always be intimidated by him.
Xue Fengjian stared intently at Chu Feng, deeply shaken.
‘Chu Feng’s combat prowess is just too immense,’ he thought. ‘Seven masters of the Martial Arts Peak Realm… dead, just like that?’
Each of them was a veteran who had lived for over a century. Normally, years would pass without a single one of them dying. Now, so many had been killed at once that fear began to take root in Xue Fengjian’s heart.
It would be a lie to say he wasn’t terrified.
The crucial point was that he and his brothers had not yet reached the Martial Arts Limit. They were all still just shy of it.
When faced with Chu Feng, the outcome was truly uncertain.
The main reason was the complete mismatch between Chu Feng’s combat prowess and his cultivation realm; his fighting ability far surpassed what his realm would suggest.
He was only at the Mid-stage Martial Arts Peak, approaching the late stage.
But the combat prowess this kid unleashed was practically at the Martial Arts Limit.
This was precisely why their entire group was terrified, why they hesitated to make a move.
Anyone in their shoes would likely hesitate just the same.
At this point, Chu Feng’s strength was arguably unmatched in the world, unless his opponent was someone who had already succeeded in Crossing the Tribulation.
“Who is that kid?” shortly after Chu Feng left, an elder from the Wudang Sect asked a disciple beside him about Chu Feng’s origins.
“He is the Martial Arts Venerable of the Celestial Sword Sect, and also the Young Master of the Xixiang Chu Family,” a nearby Wudang Disciple replied. “He’s not even thirty years old. I think he might be even stronger than the Chu Family’s own patriarch. He may have already reached the Martial Arts Limit.”
