My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building
Chapter 446: Starting to Take Sides
"How did this guy die? Who killed him?" someone asked in shock.
They had all been on guard, warily scanning their surroundings.
The sudden darkness from moments ago had given many of them a real scare, making them afraid that someone might use the cover of pitch-blackness to strike.
If that happened, you could get killed without ever knowing who did it.
It was like the end of the world—the sky had suddenly gone dark, and no one knew what was going on.
The Seven Kills Sword Master didn’t waste any time. He walked up and kicked the man’s head and body directly toward the Wo Country’s camp.
"You runts from the Wo Country, who else dares to come? Step up and die!" the Seven Kills Sword Master declared coldly, his eyes filled with fighting spirit.
He truly didn’t see these people as a threat. He had the confidence to cut down anyone who dared to step forward.
This single battle was enough to strike fear into all the foreign powerhouses present, whether they were Martial Cultivators, Superpower Users, or anything else.
The powerful Dark Wizard had been decapitated just like that. It had all happened so fast that no one even had time to react.
As a result, none of the foreign Martial Cultivators dared to make a move. They were all scared into silence.
No one was a fool; they weren’t about to stupidly march to their deaths.
"Sword Master, none of the foreign Cultivators dare to come up to the stage anymore. Why don’t you come down?" a Cultivator shouted at this moment.
Hearing this, the Seven Kills Sword Master took the opportunity to step down. Without another word, he returned directly to his seat.
"My Seven Kills Sect has now fought its match. Who else is unconvinced? Feel free to speak up." As he spoke, the Seven Kills Sword Master glanced at the Snow Sword Sect, as well as the Martial Arts Venerables of the Snow Mountain Sect.
But that guy didn’t even look at the Seven Kills Sword Master, turning his gaze in another direction instead.
Chu Feng watched Xue Fengjian, a flash of killing intent in his eyes.
’This guy is a dead man. There’s no way I’m letting him go. Once this exchange is over, I will definitely hunt him down and kill him.’
"Sword Master, what are you saying? We’ve always respected you. How could we possibly be unconvinced?" someone immediately said with a fawning, sycophantic smile.
It was a joke. Who would dare to confront the Seven Kills Sword Master head-on right now? You’d have to have a death wish.
"Is anyone else coming to the stage?" the Seven Kills Sword Master asked again.
No one responded.
"In that case, I declare this Martial Arts Grand Ceremony over. Everyone can return home. Settle any grudges you have on your own," the Seven Kills Sword Master announced.
He then stood up, took several Cultivators from his Seven Kills Sect, and left. He had no intention of getting involved in what happened next.
"Xue Wujian is dead. Xue Fengjian, it looks like your Snow Sword Sect is finished this time," sneered the two Martial Arts Peak Realm experts from the Three Swords Sect.
"You don’t need to worry about us. The Three Swords Sect should start praying for itself. Who knows when someone might just wipe you out," Xue Fengjian replied coldly.
"Is that so? I’d like to see who dares. The Three Swords Sect will be ready for them," the two from the Martial Arts Peak Realm of the Three Swords Sect sneered.
Originally, the Three Swords Sect and the Snow Sword Sect were not far apart in strength. But now that the Snow Sword Sect had lost Xue Wujian, they were down to two Martial Arts Peak experts from three, weakening them considerably.
Why would the Three Swords Sect fear them now? On the contrary, they sneered endlessly.
"Let’s go, too," Chu Feng said, standing up to leave.
"Brother Chu Feng, come on, let’s go have a few drinks!" the Third Elder of the Celestial Mountain Sect called out to Chu Feng with a loud laugh.
"Alright," Chu Feng replied with a smile, not refusing the offer.
The Third Elder of the Celestial Mountain Sect gave Chu Feng a subtle wink. He naturally knew that with the competition over, people from Spirit Sword Valley, the Snow Sword Sect, and the Snow Mountain Sect would definitely be coming to cause trouble for Chu Feng.
When the other Martial Arts Peak Realm experts from the Celestial Mountain Sect saw this, they all grew anxious.
They couldn’t believe the Third Elder was getting so close to Chu Feng. Wasn’t he just asking for trouble for their Sect?
The Celestial Mountain Sect wasn’t weak, but it certainly wasn’t exceptionally strong either. It was on par with the Snow Sword Sect, possessing only three Martial Arts Peak Realm experts.
If they sided with Chu Feng, they would completely offend Spirit Sword Valley and its allies. Once a fight broke out, the Celestial Mountain Sect would surely be at a disadvantage.
"Third Brother, what are you doing? How dare you invite Chu Feng for drinks at a time like this? Do you have a death wish? Are you trying to bring disaster upon the Celestial Mountain Sect?" the Second Elder of the Celestial Mountain Sect said frantically.
He was another Martial Arts Venerable and one of the twenty-four, but he had no connection to Chu Feng and had never spoken with him.
"Second Brother, don’t you worry about this. You can rest assured, I know what I’m doing. Brother Chu Feng’s strength is immense, truly out of the ordinary," the Celestial Mountain Sect’s Third Elder said.
"Are you a fool? Don’t you think I know he’s strong? But he has offended Spirit Sword Valley now, and you know Spirit Sword Valley is not weak either!" the Second Elder of the Celestial Mountain Sect replied with a grave expression.
