My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building
Chapter 484: Arrived
The Misty Immortal Mountain, a legendary place of immortals, contained countless ancient ruins and formations.
Ordinary people who trespassed within almost never made it out alive.
Even those at the Martial Arts Peak Realm or the Martial Arts Limit had virtually no hope of survival if they entered.
Only after Crossing the Tribulation and reaching the Nascent Soul Realm was one considered to have met the Beginner Level requirements. Only then could they avoid many of the dangers within and be much safer.
According to the records within the Wealth God’s Order in Chu Feng’s mind, these places were littered with formations.
Anyone who stumbled upon one would almost certainly be annihilated. The danger was immense.
The ancestor of the Cloud Mist Sect had most likely been trapped in one such formation, which led to his sudden death shortly after he escaped.
These abodes of the Immortal Gods from the Ancient Era were fraught with peril, but they were also brimming with opportunities.
For instance, there were inheritances for formations, Alchemy, and Artifact Refining.
Each of these disciplines was an exceptional art in its own right, and even back in the era of Immortal Gods, mastering one required immense dedication of Essence, Qi, and Spirit.
It was practically impossible to master all three of these great disciplines. The time commitment was so immense that one’s Cultivation would inevitably fall far behind.
Therefore, even during the era of Immortal Gods, individuals who had mastered all three were exceedingly rare.
Whether it was Alchemy, Artifact Refining, or formations, anyone who became proficient in even one was considered an exceptional individual.
Chu Feng longed to learn these arts, but he had no path, no channel to study them. Unable to even reach the Beginner Level, he could only sigh in frustration.
“I don’t really understand,” Su Miaoke said.
“It means that a powerful expert from the Netherworld Sect might have discovered my secret. Perhaps they detected that my Divine Soul Power is immense,” Chu Feng explained.
“What? Then you can’t go! If you go, won’t they just capture you? You’d be walking right into a trap!” Su Miaoke’s face was a mask of anxiety as she grew instantly worried.
She was deeply concerned for his safety and didn’t want him to take such a risk.
“Honey, just relax. I’ll be fine,” Chu Feng said with a smile. “So what if I walk right in? If anyone dares to have any funny ideas, I’ll just wipe them all out. Then we can have the Chu Family come over to haul their things away again.”
He was quite confident in his current strength, believing that these people were unlikely to be his match.
Only a Martial Cultivator who had successfully passed their tribulation could possibly pose a threat to him.
However, Chu Feng didn’t believe that any such Martial Cultivators actually existed in the Martial Arts Realm.
“You’re unbelievable…” Su Miaoke started to say, but trailed off, feeling helpless.
She knew his personality; trying to talk him out of it was nearly impossible, so she didn’t bother trying anymore.
It would be useless anyway. A complete waste of breath.
“Honey, don’t you worry. I still have plenty of trump cards up my sleeve,” Chu Feng said.
He currently had a powerful weapon in his possession: the Innate Eight Trigrams Compass Magical Artifact.
Once he used it, he could absolutely sweep the field.
So what if he ran into a Core Formation Realm expert? He could still hold his ground. At the very least, he wouldn’t be killed.
Besides, as someone with an Immortal Dao Inheritance, he wouldn’t be defeated so easily.
That was why Chu Feng was so confident.
“Ugh, I’m done trying to talk sense into you. You won’t listen anyway,” Su Miaoke sighed. “Just promise me you’ll be safe. I’ll be waiting for you at home! No matter what happens, staying alive is the most important thing.”
“Alright. I’ll go make you something to eat now. Have a little something to keep your strength up,” Chu Feng said with a smile.
“More food? How many meals have I had today? If I keep eating like this, I’m going to get fat!” Su Miaoke exclaimed, horrified at the thought.
Ever since she found out she was pregnant, Chu Feng had been constantly finding new ways to cook all sorts of delicious, highly nutritious meals for her, terrified she wasn’t getting enough to eat.
“It’s fine, I’m just making a little dessert. Don’t worry,” Chu Feng said with a smile before heading to the kitchen.
He was now dedicating all his energy to Su Miaoke, attending to her every need, from her meals to her daily routine. He had practically become her full-time caregiver.
‘If he makes me eat one more bite, I’m going to puke,’ Su Miaoke thought helplessly, rubbing her forehead. ‘I’ve never hated food this much in my life.’ She felt like she was about to pass out.
「The next morning.」
Chu Feng was already waiting at the airport. Before long, the Celestial Sword Sect Leader emerged from the arrivals gate.
Bai Xue was by her side.
Both were carrying luggage, clearly planning to stay for some time.
“Master, you must be hungry since you haven’t had breakfast yet. Let’s go grab a bite first,” Chu Feng said, hurrying to take their luggage and load it into the trunk.
“Alright, let’s go,” the Celestial Sword Sect Leader said with a nod.
After finishing breakfast near the airport, the group returned to Fuhe Village.
“You really have some pull, Chu Feng,” Bai Xue remarked with a smile. “My Master came right away after just one phone call. I’ve never seen her move so fast for anyone.”
