Eula Lawrence, the current Clan Head of the Lawrence Clan, was suppressed by Durandal in such a humiliating way. Despite her significant change in status, Durandal’s attitude towards her remained unchanged.

This made Eula quite happy, but she still mouthed her catchphrase, "I’ll remember this grudge."

Night had already fallen, and neither Durandal nor Eula had any intention of strolling through the streets. Although they hadn’t planned it, they both coincidentally arrived at the lake outside Mondstadt City, the same place where Eula had danced before.

"It’s been a while since I came here with you. Last time we were here, you had just decided to change the internal situation of the Lawrence Clan. I didn’t expect you to achieve the first step so quickly."

Durandal sat on the ground naturally, looking at Eula beside her, and said, "Congratulations, Eula. You’ve finally taken the first step."

"I didn’t expect the opportunity to come so quickly either. If it weren’t for their actions this time, I probably would have taken much longer to become the Clan Head."

She had originally prepared for a long battle. To better achieve her goal, she had secretly formed a united front with a few family members who agreed with her ideas, aiming to have support when the plan began.

As it turned out, less than a year had passed when the restorationists wanted to stir up trouble, creating such a good opportunity for Eula that she didn’t know whether to thank them for their actions.

"No matter what, this is what you deserve. I look forward to seeing the Lawrence Clan’s atmosphere improve under your leadership, and the Lawrence Clan’s bad reputation gradually disappear, returning to the respected noble family it once was."

"I also look forward to that day, but I can’t guarantee that I can achieve that level. After all... I’ve never done anything like this before."

She was excellent, but she wasn’t so arrogant as to think she could restore the family’s glory, especially with such a hellish starting situation.

"There’s nothing to worry about. The Knights of Favonius will help you, and we will help you too. If you encounter any difficulties, you can always come to me, and I will help you as much as possible."

"Hmm, I understand. You’re still so reliable, Durandal."

The reason she had reached her current position was all thanks to Durandal. If she hadn’t encouraged her back then, she probably wouldn’t have made such a resolution.

Now that her goal was achieved, Durandal’s attitude remained unchanged, which made Eula value her even more, to the point of being a lifelong best friend.

"If I can’t help in Inazuma or other nations, send someone to Liyue Harbor to find a gang called ’Ying’. Tell their leader that I sent you. As long as it’s within her power, she will help you."

"Hmm, I’ve noted that. Is the leader of this gang very familiar with you? Or did you save them once?"

Just as she had once saved Yanfei and become friends with her that way, Durandal knew this leader. Could it be that she had also saved them?

"This leader is my housekeeper, and the funding for this gang is provided by me. Is that information enough? If not, I can think of other things to say."

"No need, no need, that’s already enough."

Oh no, it seems I’ve learned something incredible. Is Durandal unknowingly distributing her forces across various nations?

However, she hadn’t heard of Durandal having any influence in Mondstadt. Liyue Harbor must just be an exception, she was thinking too much.

Eula didn’t know that the Anemo God of Mondstadt was Durandal’s person, and the Electro God of Inazuma was also Durandal’s person. Even if she didn’t establish forces in Mondstadt and Inazuma, given her relationship with the two Gods, weren’t these two nations hers to some extent?

Only a few people knew about Durandal, Venti, and Raiden Ei, and even if they knew, they wouldn’t associate it with such things, as Durandal had no interest in so-called forces.

Rather than letting her cultivate those, it would be better to let her return to the flower fields and cultivate more beautiful flowers.

The affairs of the Lawrence Clan were Eula’s headache. Durandal would at most help a little when needed; otherwise, it had little to do with her.

After chatting, Eula thought Durandal was going to take her to the next place, but she didn’t expect Durandal to extend a special invitation.

"Would you like to... dance a song? With me."

"Eh? Dance a song? What do you mean?"

"It’s the Requiem of the Accursed that you’re best at. This is a rare opportunity, would you like to try a duet?"

Saying that, Durandal made the starting pose for the Requiem of the Accursed, which piqued Eula’s interest.

No one had ever danced the Requiem of the Accursed with her before. Even Amber only coordinated with her dance; she had never tried dancing the Requiem of the Accursed together.

"Then you better perform well, don’t give me any reason to complain."

"Hmph, you can try."

Eula and Durandal exchanged smiles. Under the moonlight, the two danced gracefully by the Wine Lake.

Initially, they were just dancing the Requiem of the Accursed, then they began a duet, as if attending a ball. If their dance were performed at a ball, it would surely become the center of attention.

But there were no other spectators here, only Durandal and Eula, two dancers, quietly enjoying this brief tranquility.
