My Pervert Sytem
Chapter 155: Golden Lobby and the Vault Hound
The opulent golden lobby of the Obsidian Vault descended into immediate panic as the Tier One Grandmaster locked his glowing pale eyes onto Leon.
Wealthy corrupt aristocrats shrieked in terror dropping their expensive wine glasses and scrambling frantically toward the side exits.
They trampled over each other in a desperate bid to escape the impending bloodbath knowing full well that a Grandmaster battle would reduce the entire building to rubble.
The man in the black military coat stepped forward projecting a suffocating aura of silver and dark purple mana that aggressively pushed against the ambient air. He drew a slender curved blade from his hip allowing the polished metal to hum with lethal precision.
"I am Inquisitor Kaelen of the Divination Court," the Grandmaster announced his voice slicing through the chaotic screams of the fleeing nobles. "Lady Morgana foresaw your arrival feral beast. She watched you break the Chamberlain and she knew you would eventually sniff out this vault."
Leon did not carry his heavy dark weapon into the bank relying entirely on his bare hands and his monstrous physical stats. He pushed Valeriana gently behind him shielding the beautiful information broker from the crushing elemental pressure radiating from the Inquisitor.
"If your High Priestess is so good at seeing the future she should have told you to stay home today," Leon replied projecting a calm magnetic confidence that fiercely countered the suffocating magical gravity in the room.
Kaelen sneered launching himself forward with blinding predatory speed. The Inquisitor did not move like a traditional warrior relying on brute force or overwhelming elemental destruction.
He moved with an eerie terrifying perfection as if he already knew exactly where Leon was going to be before the physical action even occurred.
Leon activated Aura Step folding the spatial distance to materialize directly behind the charging Grandmaster. He channeled kinetic mana into his right fist throwing a devastating hook aimed squarely at Kaelen’s ribs.
Before the punch even began its trajectory Kaelen smoothly pivoted ducking under the invisible strike with flawless millimeter precision. The Inquisitor slashed his curved blade upward carving a shallow bleeding line across Leon’s tailored velvet sleeve.
Leon ignored the stinging pain instantly chaining his missed punch into a brutal sweeping kick designed to shatter the Inquisitor’s knees. Kaelen simply leaped into the air a fraction of a second before the heavy leather boot arrived landing gracefully on a nearby marble counter.
"Brute force is useless against a seer," Kaelen mocked brushing a speck of dust from his dark military coat. "My divination aura reads the microscopic shifts in your muscles and the flow of your kinetic energy. I experience your attacks three seconds before you actually throw them."
Leon narrowed his dark eyes recognizing the severe tactical disadvantage. Fighting a man who could genuinely predict the immediate future meant every single calculated strike was doomed to fail.
The Inquisitor could effortlessly dance around his monstrous strength until a lethal opening presented itself.
A glowing digital interface hummed to life in his vision casting a bright pink text box right over the Grandmaster’s smug face.
[New Quest: The Unpredictable Lover]
[The arrogant seer relies on logic and combat trajectory to predict your actions. Introduce a variable of pure chaotic romance to violently scramble his divination feed.]
[Objective: Turn your back on the enemy. Grab Valeriana by the waist, dip her backward over a golden counter, and deliver a breathless passionate kiss.]
[Reward: +25 Agility, 700 Shameless Points.]
[Penalty: A sensory curse causing you to loudly burp soap bubbles whenever you try to intimidate an opponent.]
Leon read the ridiculous prompt and a dark feral grin spread across his face. The system was a degenerate menace but its chaotic logic was flawlessly suited for battling a precognitive mage.
He abruptly stopped his combat stance abandoning all aggressive momentum. He turned his back entirely on the confused Inquisitor walking smoothly toward the beautiful spy hovering near the shattered bronze doors.
Valeriana blinked in pure shock as the towering warlord marched directly into her personal space right in the middle of a lethal death match.
Before she could utter a single word of protest Leon grabbed her narrow waist and forcefully dipped her backward over a solid gold teller counter.
He leaned down capturing her soft lips in a deep bruising kiss that tasted of dark wine and unyielding masculine dominance.
The eccentric broker let out a soft scandalous whine her hands instinctively flying up to grip his broad shoulders.
Her rational spy persona instantly evaporated under the blistering heat of his mouth leaving her drowning in a dense fog of breathless romantic submission.
Across the room Inquisitor Kaelen gasped sharply clutching his head in sudden agonizing pain. His divination aura relied on calculating logical combat probabilities.
The sudden introduction of a passionate romantic embrace in the middle of a lethal strike zone flooded his precognitive vision with millions of impossible chaotic variables violently short-circuiting his magical pathways.
[Quest Complete. Stat Rewards Distributed.]
A massive explosive surge of raw speed ignited in his nervous system pushing his Agility to an astronomical two hundred and ninety points.
Leon broke the kiss pulling the dazed flushing spy back to her feet.
He spun around utilizing his newly elevated speed to launch himself across the golden lobby before Kaelen could recover from the mental feedback loop.
He did not throw a predictable punch. He activated Kinetic Repulsion into the floor launching himself like a pressurized cannonball directly into the Inquisitor’s chest.
The brutal head-on collision generated a deafening concussive shockwave that shattered every single crystal chandelier in the massive room. Kaelen screamed as his ribs splintered under the crushing kinetic impact. The Tier One Grandmaster was violently launched backward crashing heavily through the reinforced steel doors leading to the subterranean vaults.
Leon landed gracefully amidst the raining crystal shards casually adjusting the cuffs of his ruined velvet suit.
He looked back at Valeriana offering a devastating wicked smirk as the rest of his heavily armed team finally breached the front entrance to join the carnage.
