The driver heard the ambiguous sounds and glanced back, hurriedly raising the partition for the rear car.

Jared Quinn’s hand explored her body, slipping under her skirt, spreading her legs apart and sitting her in a way that pressed her closely to his abdomen...

"I don’t want to do it in the car," Melody Thorne gasped.

"I want to try," Jared Quinn’s large hand slipped into her panties.

"No... don’t, don’t you want me to scream so the driver in front can hear?" Melody Thorne pushed against his chest with both hands.

In Jared Quinn’s deep eyes, there was a burning desire. He was fully aware of everything that happened when Melody Thorne went in, including the sounds that came out.

"What did you see?" Jared Quinn’s handsome face was shrouded in frost. Just the thought of the woman in his arms seeing another man’s private areas made him want to rush in and castrate that person!

"I didn’t see anything, I promise," Melody Thorne raised a small hand. "When that woman was doing him, I turned my head away. Only after they were done did I step on him and give him an injection. I didn’t look at all during the whole process."

"You even stepped on him?" Jared Quinn’s voice grew colder, as if she had touched him with her hand.

He took out his phone and made a call, "Have someone castrate Congressman Gu for me!"

Melody Thorne: "..."

Her head rested against Jared Quinn’s chest. As long as they didn’t kill him, it was okay; she still didn’t know what exactly that Congressman Gu had made her ingest!

Jared Quinn’s fingers traced her lips. "How did it feel to see those things? Hmm?"

Melody Thorne: "...How am I supposed to feel? I’m not a man. Stop bringing this up!"

"Remember from now on, you can’t look at anyone else’s but mine, got it?"

"Got it, got it," Melody Thorne nodded repeatedly.

She wasn’t interested in that thing, right?

Quinn Family.

Leon Rivers confirmed multiple times that the drug indeed had no problems before giving it to Sila.

"Mom, do you feel anything now?" Melody Thorne anxiously watched her.

"Sis-in-law, since this is an antidote, the Madam won’t feel anything. The symptoms will naturally disappear," Leon Rivers explained.

"That’s great," Melody Thorne hugged Madam Sila tightly, "Mom..."

"Alright, alright, you’re all grown up now," Sila chuckled as she pushed her away. "Since I’m fine, let’s finalize the date for your wedding soon and prepare the things needed before the marriage. Also, I have a few design companies in Ardenia under my name that I want to transfer to you. Just as well, your father isn’t well, and I need to take care of him, so I might not be going back and forth to Ardenia."

"Oh, got it," Melody Thorne replied with a smile.

"Alright, alright, you young ones chat, I’ll go upstairs to check on little Mo," Madam Sila went upstairs.

Outside the door, the butler brought someone in—Adjutant Chaucer.

"Miss Thorne"

"Adjutant Chaucer, what’s the matter?" Melody Thorne lazily sprawled on the sofa. She roughly already guessed, but she didn’t want to go.

"Miss Thorne, now the whole country knows about your deployment order, even the army is aware. My suggestion is for you to come with me to the base, so they can acknowledge your presence and meet you."

Melody Thorne handed a poster to Adjutant Chaucer, "You can just show them this so they know I’m around."
