My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 1110: You're the Prince's Dad
“Master, the people from Knight Palace Gate haven’t mentioned wanting this painting back. Why not leave it at our Quinn Family for another couple of days? I can see Madam is really reluctant to let it go,” the butler said.
Melody Thorne immediately nodded repeatedly, “Let’s keep it for a few more days. Have Harold Chapman check on the existence of the other two paintings. I want to find them and bring them back.”
“Then let’s leave it here for now. We’ll give it back whenever the people from Knight Palace Gate come to retrieve it.”
“Yes.”
“Oh, that’s wonderful!” Melody Thorne hugged the painting tightly and walked into the bedroom. She wanted to sleep while holding it.
“Dad, looks like you won’t have a place to sleep tonight. You can borrow my little bed for a while,” Timmy said.
The butler was speechless “…”
“Where did you just go?” Jared Quinn looked down at his son.
“Well, an old witch asked us to see her, and then she staged a scene where an actor jumps into the sea to threaten the pure Snow White and the little prince, telling them not to oppose her. Then, Snow White gave her a good scolding,” Timmy recounted earnestly.
Jared Quinn’s stern brows furrowed slightly, “Speak properly.”
Timmy pouted, “Dad, don’t you get it? I meant the old witch is that woman with the surname Knight, the princess is Mel, and I’m the little prince.”
“If you’re the prince, then what am I?” A cold gleam flashed in Jared Quinn’s eyes.
Timmy darted to the staircase, “You’re the prince’s dad!”
The old king!
A cold breeze swept across Jared Quinn’s handsome face.
In the bedroom, Melody Thorne really did sleep while holding that painting. Anything she set her sights on, she’d hang on to. Just like when she set her sights on Jared Quinn years ago, she pursued him relentlessly, and now she had her sights on this painting. If that arrogant woman from the Night family wanted it, she’d better come and ask for it.
Jared Quinn glanced upstairs, picked up his coat, and left the Quinn Family. Hardly had he stepped out when a woman approached him.
“Jared, I’ve been waiting for you here for a while,” Flora Knight approached him, her enchanting gaze fixed on him,
She couldn’t make Melody Thorne her target, so she aimed to approach Jared Quinn.
She mentioned it was about Melody Thorne, so she wasn’t afraid Jared wouldn’t come.
“Tell me what you know,” Jared Quinn lit a cigarette, the golden lighter exuding a certain elegance in his hand. Every move he made carried the charm of a mature man, making it hard for people to look away.
Such a powerful and prestigious man, unattached to any woman but fond of one, was naturally attractive. No wonder she was drawn to him soon after stepping out of Knight Palace Gate.
Unfortunately, back then, she didn’t know the identity and status of the person who saved her. It was only later, when news about the painting spread within the Quinn Family, that she knew it was Jared Quinn.
But Florence didn’t care about those things. A successful man never lacked women around him.
“I know many of her secrets, including ones you’re unaware of. If you want to know, I’ll slowly tell you everything, including what she’s currently hiding from you.”
“What is it?”
“Do you know what Senator Gu fed her that day when he captured her?” Florence curled her lips.
…
When Melody Thorne woke up, she was still holding onto that painting. As she went downstairs, Jared Quinn had already been up early and made breakfast.
“Did you sleep at all last night?” Melody’s petite figure darted to him, wrapping her hands around Jared Quinn’s strong waist, her little head nuzzling his chest a couple of times.
