Chapter 1337: Where is My God Slave?

[Ding!]

Phei sat upright while his eyes swept across the familiar cavern.

His little sister sat inside her enormous section beneath the colored light, slowly turning her head toward him, but the Zone Lord itself was nowhere to be seen. The last thing Phei remembered was touching the blue-white glow inside the Astral Wraith’s chest, activating the Tiamat Slave Mark and feeling something so spiritually immense crash into his soul that consciousness simply vanished.

He ignored the waiting notification completely and asked the question that mattered far more. "Where’s my God-level slave?"

The Dragon Lady’s eye narrowed slightly at the enthusiasm in his voice, and Phei glanced toward her with complete seriousness.

"What? Priorities."

The System answered.

[The Astral Wraith presently possesses no physical body capable of safely remaining within the outside world beyond the protection of her original Soul Domain.]

[Outside that environment, her exposed soul would become vulnerable to existences capable of genuinely damaging or destroying a sacred-ranked soul or higher. Until her evolution is completed and a physical body is created, she can’t be in the physical world.]

Phei considered the explanation for a moment before nodding. The Astral Wraith had seemed almost untouchable inside the abyss because the entire region effectively served as an extension of her existence, with the Soul Domain saturating everything around her while armies of thralls continuously supplied energy.

Outside that protection, she would effectively be wandering the world as one enormous exposed soul, tremendously powerful against most enemies but vulnerable to anyone capable of directly attacking something at her spiritual level or even enslave her the way he did.

"So where is she now?"

[The Astral Wraith is currently residing within Host’s Soul Realm.]

Phei’s eyebrows rose.

[She is cultivating using Host’s Soul Energy, which is currently in considerably greater abundance for her, with higher potency and purity than the energy harvested from her former thralls. Estimated difference is quality approximately x500 what she used to get.]

Phei stared at the message before his mouth slowly curved. "That’s cool. So for all those three, actually for reasons, does that mean her cultivation is going to accelerate x500 faster too? She could finish evolving much faster than she would have down there?"

[Depends on the Wraith, Host.]

The System paused briefly before continuing:

[Under ordinary circumstances, replacing the low-quality Essence gathered from her thralls with Host’s Soul Energy would greatly accelerate completion of her evolution.]

[However, the Astral Wraith’s previous evolution was constructed largely upon that very inferior Essence. Her former thralls provided little usable Soul Essence, despite Soul Energy being one of the most important foundations for cultivation at the god Stage and beyond.But with Host’s considerably purer Soul Energy available (rather than just Soul Essence) in continuous abundance, the Astral Wraith may choose to prolong her evolution, dismantle the existing foundation and reconstruct her path toward Godhood from a considerably stronger base.]

Phei’s interest immediately sharpened.

Rushing the process suddenly sounded far less appealing than allowing her to rebuild everything properly. If the Astral Wraith had spent centuries constructing her future Godhood from whatever Essence she could drain out of unwilling beasts and thralls, then suddenly discovering an ocean of Soul Energy hundreds of times purer gave her every reason to tear apart that old foundation and begin again.

Which meant she’ll emerge as more times stronger a god compared to she would emerge as if she rushed!

’Which means a formidable god being!’

"Take your time, Floaty," Phei murmured, earning a low rumble from the Dragon Lady. He glanced toward her and shrugged. "Until she gives me an actual name, that’s staying."

A contradiction finally reached the part of his brain that had been too excited to notice it earlier, and Phei’s expression slowly changed:

"Wait a fucking moment. System, how can she be inside my Soul Realm? You told me that place was sealed until I reached the World Transcendent Stage. I can’t use my Soul Energy or even enter my own Soul Realm, but apparently she can move in?"

[Sigh!]

Phei’s face went blank. "Did you just sigh at me?"

[Host, just as women and soul-bonded individuals such as the Nether Goddess can draw upon Host’s Soul Energy for cultivation and personal use even if you yourself can’t use it, servants bound through the Tiamat Slave Mark possess the same privilege.]

[This benefit applies specifically to Tiamat Slave Mark slaves.]

[Host simply had no cultivator slaves capable of doing either, previously, while even all your current World Transcendent slaves have not yet created their own Soul Realms through which Soul Energy can be consciously harnessed.]

Phei rubbed his chin as the pieces settled together. Sienna could already benefit from his Soul Energy through the bonds (the harem mark and the dual-soul) connecting them, while others tied closely enough to his soul could touch that source in their own ways if they could. Apparently the Tiamat Slave Mark established a similar connection for his slaves, and his existing slaves had simply didn’t possess the ability necessary for Phei to recognize what was happening (namely their own Soul Realm).

"So once I unlock my Soul Realm properly, I could invite them inside too even if they haven’t created Soul Realms of their own?"

[Correct. Once Host reaches the World Transcendent Stage and gains conscious control over your Soul Realm, bonded individuals and slaves may be permitted inside under Host’s will. With sufficient mastery, even a mortal could enter.]

That immediately produced several possibilities Phei had absolutely no business experimenting with yet, so he pushed them aside before curiosity became a problem.

"But Floaty is different because she already possesses a fully established Soul Realm and Soul Energy and she also currently exists entirely as soul which means she can enter and stay in my Soul Realm?"

[Correct.]

Phei nodded before another issue surfaced. "She’s still a god Stage, though. Even if the Tiamat Slave Mark gives her a path inside, how can my sealed Soul Realm actually contain something like her without collapsing?"

The answer came almost immediately.

[Host is confusing cultivation Realm with Soul Rank.]
