My Talent Panel Can Add Points
Chapter 810 - 378: Attraction! Chaos Begins!
"Do you think, by doing this, we might be making it difficult for some people?" Carl hid in the corner of the bushes, asking with a smile on his face.
"Then don’t come."
Ye Mingqiu replied casually.
At that moment, the two of them were crouching in the wilderness, their goal was to draw attention. It was a somewhat dangerous mission, but compared to what those people were up to, it wasn’t that dangerous.
It could even be considered safe, as it was the part with the least risk.
Carl gave a bright, beaming smile as he stared at the tablet in his hand, then turned his head and said, "Yo, that guy really came out."
The guy he referred to was the steward Ye Mingqiu had extorted before, who harbored a deep grudge against Ye Mingqiu, and had even tried to teach him a lesson before. But Ye Mingqiu, being clever, had openly thrown the locator to Wuluru.
And the people he hired were naturally taken care of by Wuluru.
Afterwards, he seemed to realize the problem, so he continued plotting new things while also thinking about how to deal with Ye Mingqiu.
In Ye Mingqiu’s eyes, he was just a pesky little clown from start to end, not worth his time and effort, so he didn’t really bother. The flaw shown now was also intentionally exposed by him.
Just an ordinary native.
If he couldn’t even handle such a small fry, it would be too much of a failure.
"Phew~"
Ye Mingqiu let out a gentle breath, then wore the mask on his face, a specially made mask that could partially hide the user’s presence.
This was a benefit given to him by others after joining the group.
Needless to say, this mask itself, while having hidden functions, also had a tracking function, effectively handing his location to the counterpart while receiving help.
Weighing the pros and cons, using the mask made both sides feel secure, so many people were using it, but if entering a hostile scene, then probably no one would continue using it.
Does this mask hide something else?
Could there be any hidden side effects?
Or other things?
These three questions popped into Ye Mingqiu’s mind but were dismissed one by one. A person’s core ability strength is limited, and to create masks for multiple people to use on a large scale, it requires a substantial strength model.
When everyone’s level isn’t high, adding a massive amount of abilities is unlikely to be accomplished.
And the other party’s goal, perhaps from the start, wasn’t to win the championship, but to accrue enough assists and battle achievements to make their stats look good, thus gaining more rewards during settlement.
Seems like the other party has quite a bit of self-awareness.
And a guy like that probably wouldn’t deliberately join a certain faction but would distribute their ability as widely as possible, not caring who uses or leverages his power, as long as good battle achievements are achieved when using his power.
He’s just here to rake in achievements, akin to how Ye Mingqiu, before in the Tier One Chaoge Battlefield, covered everything with the Indestructible Aura, purely grinding achievements.
Truly, a gathering of heroes.
"Do you plan to take him down? The plan over there is, as long as we make some noise, it should be fine, achieving the same goal without killing is also credible." Carl said with a smile.
"Yeah, but isn’t that too boring?"
Ye Mingqiu clenched the Blood Spear in his hand, his muscles slightly relaxed, taking a stance like a tiger ready to pounce, with sharp eyes looking towards the street, scarlet light glowing on the spear.
"I should remind you, the opponent is Level 4, and most likely they brought others along, so it’s probably going to be difficult. Not being able to resolve it quickly is normal, opting for a more stable strategy might be better."
"Then what do you propose I do?"
"Me?"
Carl paused for a moment, then his smile turned odd, he cheekily said, "I was just saying, don’t mind me."
"Such hypocritical kindness."
Ye Mingqiu said casually.
This hypocritical kindness is just to get by on the surface, without offering substantial help, but at least it’s comforting to hear. Expecting the other to fight hard alongside you, like partners, would be wishful thinking.
However, the necessary help will still be provided, just without going all-in.
Everyone will hold back something.
The goal is to complete the common objective while maintaining some reservations, achieving better results.
Soft footsteps quietly echoed, a few people were approaching from a distance in the wilderness.
Four people in total, among them, two stewards in light blue uniforms, another imposing white-clothed native, all seemingly armed and ready to fight.
The steward who has a grudge with Ye Mingqiu now held a high-tech disc in hand, watching it while scanning around, seemingly on guard for any potential threats.
"Activate the domain."
Ye Mingqiu instructed.
"Now?"
"Right now."
"Alright."
Carl didn’t ask more, simply clapped his hands, and an invisible curtain instantly enveloped the world. Special rules were etched within the curtain, the air inside the domain became heavy, the enemy’s movements slowed, and sound could no longer travel as quickly as usual.
