My Talent Skill Mutated
Chapter 211 - 101: Immortal Body, Undead Calamity
Flame Demon Spirits were unlike other exotic beasts; they had almost no weaknesses. If not completely annihilated in a single blow, they could resurrect. Now they finally had an Ability User who could counter the Flame Demon Spirit. If he died, they would be utterly helpless.
A shockwave of light pulsed as red light flooded the sky.
The figure of the Flame Demon Spirit appeared, and the expressions on everyone’s faces turned even grimmer.
BZZZZ—
Just then, Chen Yu’s figure reappeared. He was in his ethereal Undead Form, unchanged from before, as if the Flame Demon Spirit’s attack had had no effect on him whatsoever.
"He’s not dead! He’s still alive!"
Seeing Chen Yu’s figure, everyone was overcome with joy.
’Thank goodness. If this guy had died, I’d have a lot of explaining to do...’
The long-haired man in sunglasses watched Chen Yu’s figure and let out a long sigh of relief.
"Go!"
The long-haired man in sunglasses was the first to act. An invisible wave spread out, once again immobilizing the Flame Demon Spirit.
The others followed suit, all of their attacks locking onto the Flame Demon Spirit.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Light erupted in all directions, distorting space itself.
While they couldn’t deal a fatal blow to the Flame Demon Spirit, they could at least keep it from attacking Chen Yu.
’Looks like I’ll have to use my ultimate move.’
Chen Yu looked at the Flame Demon Spirit. While a normal Undead Flame Attack could harm it, killing it would be far too difficult.
’Its recovery speed is too fast, and its body is nearly indestructible. I have to obliterate it in a single strike.’
BZZZZ!!!
With a single thought, a massive amount of Spiritual Power instantly converted into undead energy. Chen Yu felt a terrifying surge of undead power erupt from within him.
"Hah!"
With a low roar, a pillar of purple light shot toward the heavens, a brilliant column so vast it seemed to pierce the sky.
An Undead phantom materialized within the dazzling purple light.
A boundless, imposing pressure swept across the sea and sky.
"What is this ability?!"
Everyone’s eyes widened as they watched the magnificent spectacle unfold.
’Danger!’
An intense sense of peril exploded in their minds. Even a Ninth-level Martial Artist like the long-haired man in sunglasses felt the danger.
The Undead phantom stepped out of the sky-piercing purple light. The apparition, like a deity, brought the very heavens to a standstill.
ROAR!!!
The Flame Demon Spirit roared. It seemed to have sensed a fatal threat as a crimson light erupted from its body, its flames burning so intensely they warped space itself.
Its aura instantly surged to its absolute peak!
In that exact instant, the Undead phantom within the purple light made its move.
The sky-piercing purple light was absorbed, and high above in the firmament, a purple Flame Ball as massive as the sun materialized.
Carrying with it a tidal wave of power, it shot directly toward the Flame Demon Spirit.
The very air was scorched.
BOOM!!!
The sun-like purple Flame Ball detonated, and in an instant, the area for dozens of miles was transformed into a sea of purple fire.
"Run!"
In that same instant, everyone simultaneously fled, frantically retreating until they were dozens of miles away before they dared to stop.
Every one of them was pale, their minds dazed and reeling.
Although the bizarre purple Flame Ball hadn’t been aimed at them, just being grazed by a fraction of its power felt like a devastating blow to their spirits.
Their spirits felt scorched.
Thankfully, they had reacted quickly enough to avoid any major harm.
Still, the attack left everyone with a profound sense of dread.
A sea of purple fire that spanned dozens of miles, with shockwaves that rippled out for hundreds of miles.
Endless tsunamis churned in its wake, creating an apocalyptic scene that struck fear into their hearts.
From dozens of miles away, the long-haired man in sunglasses and the others stared into the depths of the purple inferno.
The Flame Demon Spirit roared as its aura rapidly weakened.
"Old Xiao, this guy is a real monster. What kind of ability is that?" the silver-haired middle-aged man asked the one in sunglasses, unconcealed shock on his face.
The long-haired man in sunglasses shook his head. "Don’t ask me. I have no idea. There was nothing about this in his ability profile."
"Don’t tell me he’s awakened another monstrous ability?" The silver-haired man’s pupils contracted as he looked at him.
"It’s possible."
The long-haired man in sunglasses gave a slight nod.
’This guy... I get the feeling his potential is even more terrifying than Xiaoyi’s...’ the silver-haired man thought, sighing as he gazed at the purple inferno.
The others watched the scene, their faces a mask of horror.
An ability like this... it’s just monstrous!
At that moment, everyone witnessed what it meant to have "the potential of a True God"!
This was the potential of a True God!
And he was only Level 6. If he reached Level 8, or even Level 9, one couldn’t even imagine how terrifying he would become.
For an Ability User, each breakthrough strengthens their Superpower, increasing their overall power several times over.
The stronger the Superpower, the greater the leap in strength.
He was this strong already. If he reached Level 8 or 9, he could probably kill them all with a wave of his hand.
All eyes were fixed on the purple inferno. Deep within, the Flame Demon Spirit was being incinerated by the immense Undead Flame, its roars filled with agony.
Its miserable, screeching howls were enough to make one’s skin crawl.
As the sea of fire, once dozens of miles wide, began to recede, everyone’s nerves grew taut.
They stared intently, afraid to miss a single detail.
Only a tiny remnant of the Flame Demon Spirit’s figure remained, continuously consumed by the scorching Undead Flame.
Even its monstrous regenerative ability couldn’t withstand the terrifying Undead Flame.
When the sea of purple fire finally vanished, the last trace of the Flame Demon Spirit was completely erased.
"It’s dead!"
Seeing the Flame Demon Spirit disappear, everyone’s faces lit up with joy.
It’s finally dead!
If that thing hadn’t died, they were going to have a goddamn breakdown.
His Undead Form dissipated, and Chen Yu’s figure returned to normal.
However, his face was alarmingly pale.
As pale as a sheet of paper!
He looked no different from a corpse.
