Chapter 469: Azure Vault Divine Platform

“Brother Yu, come on. You came all this way without even telling us. I’ve been waiting for you for so long.”

Nangong Ba gave Chen Yu a woeful look.

Chen Yu smiled faintly. “I just arrived and haven’t had the chance yet. We’ll have plenty of time later.”

“Come on, you two, don’t just stand there. Let’s go inside and sit down.”

The two of them nodded and followed Chen Yu into the villa.

On the couch, Sophie poured a few cups of hot water, and they all chatted happily.

“By the way, Brother Yu, some people from the Celestial Race came looking for you earlier. Is something going on?”

Jiang Can asked, looking at Chen Yu and blinking.

Chen Yu nodded. “Yes, a Divine Child of the Celestial Race wants to spar with me.”

A Divine Child of the Celestial Race!!

Their pupils contracted.

Given their status and power, of course they knew. Besides, they had seen him when the Celestial Race came to visit.

The Celestial Race currently has three Divine Children.

The Taixu Divine Child who visited, despite only being a Tier One True God, is so powerful that even a Tier Three True God couldn’t defeat him. He is a being who can rival a Tier Four True God.

‘Sparring with Chen Yu… He certainly picked a worthy opponent!’

“Brother Yu, are you confident?” Nangong Ba asked, looking at Chen Yu with curiosity.

Chen Yu took a sip of water and said calmly, “It shouldn’t be a huge problem. But we’ll only know for sure after the match.”

“So when’s the match?” Nangong Ba asked curiously.

“The day after tomorrow,” Chen Yu replied.

“The day after tomorrow…”

Nangong Ba and Jiang Can exchanged a look.

“What’s wrong? Is there a problem?” Chen Yu asked lightly.

They both shook their heads. Jiang Can spoke up, “No problem, but Brother Yu, you should be careful. The Taixu Divine Child’s power is nothing to scoff at.”

Chen Yu gave a slight nod. “Yes, I know.”

Looking at Chen Yu’s composed demeanor, Jiang Can couldn’t help but speak up. “Brother Yu, the Taixu Divine Child has already mastered eight Laws. According to rumors from the Celestial Race, he’s probably hoping to use you to make a breakthrough to the Ninth Law, isn’t he?”

“I suppose so,” Chen Yu said with a nod. “But that’s not a big deal.”

…

‘That’s not a big deal?’

The two of them stared at Chen Yu, utterly speechless.

‘Such confidence.’

‘Simply extraordinary!’

‘But considering Chen Yu’s strength, he certainly had the right to say that.’

‘The Divine Child of the Celestial Race was powerful, but the feeling Chen Yu gave them was even more terrifying.’

“Brother Yu, how many Laws have you mastered so far?” Nangong Ba asked curiously.

“I’ve only mastered Seven Laws so far. I still have a long way to go.”

Chen Yu replied.

What?

‘He’s already mastered Seven Laws?!’

Their eyes went wide as they stared at him in disbelief.

‘Seven Laws!’

‘Chen Yu only became a god a few years ago, and he’s already mastered Seven Laws in that short time?!’

‘The more Laws one masters, the harder it becomes to cultivate new ones.’

‘Especially during the Tier One True God Stage. After five Laws, the difficulty of mastering each subsequent Law increases exponentially.’

‘Chen Yu has already mastered Seven Laws. At this rate, mastering Nine Laws won’t be far off.’

‘If so, Chen Yu might just become the new king of the Human Race, a successor to the Firmament Emperor.’

‘Mastering Nine Laws as a Tier One True God was a feat that even the great Wu Wudi never achieved.’

‘Now, Chen Yu seems to have reached the same point as Wu Wudi back then. Another step or two, and he will reach the absolute peak!’

‘If he breaks through to Tier Two True God, the increase in his power would be absolutely explosive.’

‘A True God from a Supreme Divine Kingdom is invincible at their tier. Even fighting opponents a tier higher isn’t a major issue.’

‘This is a step that countless True Gods can only dream of.’

They looked at Chen Yu with complicated gazes.

‘We thought that by becoming True Gods, we would close the gap between us. But why does it feel like we’re only growing further apart?’

“Um… Brother Yu, there’s a favor I’d like to ask.”

Nangong Ba said, rubbing his hands together as he looked at Chen Yu.

Seeing Nangong Ba act this way, Chen Yu was momentarily surprised. “Nangong, we’re friends. Just say what’s on your mind. If I can do it, I certainly will.”

Upon hearing this, Nangong Ba’s face lit up with joy, and Jiang Can’s face also showed a hint of delight.

“It’s like this. The two of us haven’t had a chance to go all out since becoming True Gods. So, we’d like to ask you for a simple match to test our current limits.”

Nangong Ba said.

Chen Yu was speechless.

‘Sparring…’

‘More sparring.’

‘It’s true what they say: fame brings nothing but trouble!’

But since they had just become True Gods and wanted to test their strength, Chen Yu naturally wouldn’t refuse.

‘They were his friends. It wouldn’t hurt to give them a few pointers.’

‘After all, these two were pillars of the Human Race in the Celestial River today.’

‘The more powerful individuals like them that emerged, the stronger they were, the better it was for the upper echelon of the Human Race.’

“No problem.” Chen Yu nodded and looked at the two of them. “When?”

Hearing this, both of their faces lit up with delight. Jiang Can said, “We can do it right now.”

“Brother Yu, if you need to rest, we can wait until after the Godhood Assembly is over,” Jiang Can added.

Chen Yu shook his head. “That’s not necessary. Let’s do it now. You pick the place.”

The two exchanged a glance, and Nangong Ba immediately stood up. With a wave of his hand, a Space-Time Passage appeared in front of them.

“Brother Yu, let’s go to the Azure Vault Divine Platform, then.”

Nangong Ba said.

Chen Yu gazed at the Space-Time Passage before him, his vision piercing through space and time to see a boundless black platform deep within its recesses.

“The Azure Vault Divine Platform… is that the one built by the Firmament Emperor?”

Chen Yu asked.

The two nodded. “Yes, it was left behind by the Great Emperor. It’s the only place that can fully withstand the shockwaves of a True God’s attacks. It’s indestructible unless one has the combat power of the Great Emperor Level!”

Chen Yu nodded and rose to his feet. “Then let’s go. Let me see just how much the two of you have improved.”

With that, Chen Yu took a single step and entered the Space-Time Passage.

Jiang Can and Nangong Ba followed right behind him into the Space-Time Passage.

「The scenery swirled around them.」

In a mere instant, the three of them landed upon the Azure Vault Divine Platform.

The black platform stood like a continent within the Chaotic Void, surrounded by an endless, unique power that sealed the Chaos beyond.

In Chen Yu’s eyes, he could see countless Laws intertwining, forming an incredibly dense defensive net that enveloped the entire Azure Vault Divine Platform.

Chen Yu stood on the platform, with Nangong Ba and Jiang Can opposite him.

“Brother Yu, I’ll go first! Please, give me your guidance!”

Jiang Can spoke, and as the words left his mouth, a brilliant golden light erupted from his body. A colossal figure materialized behind him.

A majestic Divine Power emanated from it, like a mythical avatar.

It was suffused with the Power of Laws.

BOOM—!!!

The Divine Power flared. Under Jiang Can’s command, the colossal figure condensed all its strength into a sky-rending hand that sundered the void as it came crashing down on Chen Yu.

The immense Divine Power surged forth, like a god seeking to end the world!

Chen Yu remained where he stood, completely motionless, seemingly offering no resistance at all.

But in the instant that colossal divine palm arrived, Chen Yu extended a single finger, from which a dark light bloomed.

Looking closely, one could see what looked like a divine dragon soaring within the dark light.

BOOM—!!

A terrifying shockwave swept across the Azure Vault Divine Platform, shaking the surrounding Chaotic Void. Countless nets of Law appeared, instantly suppressing the Destruction Level blast.

The colossal divine palm was obliterated, and the massive figure behind it dissipated along with it.

Chen Yu stood upon the Azure Vault Divine Platform, completely unfazed.
