My Talent Skill Mutated
Chapter 481 - 238: Hell’s Pawn
The Human Race, Celestial Blue Realm.
In the depths of the starry cosmos, Chen Yu’s figure stepped out of the void.
Gazing at the azure planet, his heart filled with great anticipation.
According to the information Wu Wudi had given him, the Celestial Blue Realm contained far more Space-Time Anomalies than other worlds.
The Celestial Blue Realm, one of the Nine Realms!
It was also the second Life World the Human Race had ventured to conquer after leaving the Ancestor Star.
Looking at the Celestial Blue Realm, Chen Yu took a step forward and, without any resistance, descended into its atmosphere.
The Celestial Blue Realm was larger than the Ancestral Star World.
Of the nine Human Race realms, the Ancestral Star World was the smallest.
The other worlds were all two to three times its size.
As he looked down upon the land, relevant information surfaced in his mind.
After sifting through it, Chen Yu quickly confirmed his first destination.
The Langya Anomaly!
According to Wu Wudi’s data, this was the largest Space-Time Anomaly in the Celestial Blue Realm.
The probability of finding a World Tree here was extremely high.
’First, to Langya.’
With a mere thought, Chen Yu vanished from the sky.
The next second, he arrived deep within a vast, primeval forest.
Not far away, a hundred-zhang-tall Space-Time Gate stood like a mountain peak.
Just as Chen Yu reached the entrance to the Langya Anomaly and was about to step through, a voice suddenly drifted over.
"We finally made it. This time, we can really explore the Langya Anomaly."
"If we find anything, it’s bound to be a big haul."
"I hope a True God blesses us with a bountiful harvest."
"Definitely. With Senior Sister Lu leading the way, our luck is sure to be good."
...
As the conversation reached him, Chen Yu’s gaze fell on the figures appearing in the distance.
He gauged their strength in a single glance: one Seventh Grade and three Sixth Grade.
"Hm?"
’The aura of Hell!’
Chen Yu swept his eyes over them, not planning to pay them any mind, but one of the young men caught his attention.
Within his soul, there was the aura of a being from Hell.
His Life Force Field scanned the man, and in an instant, the young man’s true nature was laid bare.
’A being from Hell in disguise!’
’Could it be that beings from Hell have already infiltrated the Celestial Blue Realm?’
Chen Yu frowned.
This was the first time he had discovered a being from Hell capable of transforming into a member of the Human Race.
A being from Hell sneaking into the Mortal World and disguising itself as a human might not seem like a big deal, but upon further reflection, it was no small matter.
If he could run into one disguised being from Hell, there was no guarantee there wasn’t a second.
Or even more.
The beings from Hell were powerful and extraordinarily difficult to deal with.
At the same level of strength, a being from Hell would be superior.
Only a few exceptional individuals could hope to win.
The vast majority of people were no match for a being from Hell at the same level.
Beings from Hell were even more terrifying than the Alien Races of the Mortal World.
’To run into a disguised being from Hell right after arriving... what rotten luck.’
However, since he had encountered it, he certainly wouldn’t just stand by and do nothing.
He carefully scanned the other people. Finding no trace of Hell’s aura on them, he paid them no further mind.
As the group drew closer, Chen Yu’s gaze locked onto the young man who was a disguised being from Hell.
When the group saw Chen Yu standing before the Space-Time Gate, they didn’t pay him much attention.
Many Martial Artists came to the Langya Anomaly.
Encountering someone here wasn’t a rare occurrence.
When the group arrived in front of him, Chen Yu looked at the disguised being from Hell.
"What’s your name?" Chen Yu asked coolly.
Hearing this, the entire group turned to look at him in unison. The being from Hell disguised as a young man showed no unusual reaction.
"Who are you? Do we know you?" the leading woman asked, looking at Chen Yu with a guarded expression.
She tried to sense his aura but detected nothing at all.
"Are you all together?" Chen Yu asked in return.
"What if we are? Who are you?" the woman demanded.
"Do you have any other companions?" Chen Yu ignored the woman, his eyes fixed on the young man from Hell.
"These are my companions. Is there a problem?" the young man asked, feigning confusion.
"Who do you think you are? Why don’t you answer when you’re asked a question?" the woman said, her dissatisfaction showing.
"Shut up," Chen Yu said softly, uttering just two words.
The group flared up in anger, but when they tried to circulate their Qi, their expressions changed drastically.
It was as if their bodies were no longer under their control, completely suppressed.
Forget circulating their Qi; they couldn’t even move.
"My patience is limited. Do you have any other companions?" Chen Yu said, looking at the disguised young man.
"What are you doing?"
The young man stared at him in horror.
"If you won’t admit it, then there’s no need to say anything at all." Chen Yu sighed. He then gently raised his hand, and a beam of spiritual light shot into the young man’s body.
Instantly, a scene appeared in Chen Yu’s mind.
In the deep cosmos, on a desolate star, a figure in a black robe stood tall.
It had two horns sprouting from its head and a dragon’s tail. Its appearance was similar to a human’s, but one glance was enough to know it wasn’t.
In front of this horned, dragon-tailed being, a young man was kneeling.
It was, shockingly, the same young man he had just found.
"The transformation is complete. After you fulfill your mission, you will be a great hero to the Nether Race."
"I will obey the Elder’s command."
After this short exchange, the scene vanished.
This was the only memory his mental probe could find; the rest seemed to have been deliberately erased.
’A pawn of the Hell Nether Race... It seems that being is an important figure for the Nether Race in the Mortal World.’
The thought flashed through Chen Yu’s mind as he looked at the disguised young man before him.
"Let me go!"
The young man glared at him furiously.
Chen Yu said nothing more. With just a look, the young man collapsed, transforming into a zhang-sized monster.
It resembled the black-robed figure from the memory, with a humanoid form but sporting two horns and a black dragon’s tail.
This was the true form of the Nether Race.
After dealing with the Nether Race member, Chen Yu released the suppression on the others.
"Th-This... How is this possible!"
Staring at the zhang-sized monster that was the Nether Race member’s true form, the group’s faces paled.
"An Alien Race... Xu Yuan was a disguised Alien Race member? Th-This can’t be!"
None of them could believe it, but with the proof laid out before them, they had no choice but to accept it.
"This isn’t an ordinary Alien Race member. Take the corpse back and have your superiors investigate thoroughly. The Hell Nether Race is very skilled at concealment."
Chen Yu’s voice rang in their ears.
When they snapped back to their senses and looked around, Chen Yu had already vanished from sight.
"I am Chen Yu, from the Ancestor Star."
Before they could process this, a resonant voice echoed simultaneously in their minds.
Hearing this, the three remaining people were instantly petrified on the spot.
The Ancestor Star, Chen Yu!
’Could he be the supreme prodigy who defeated the Divine Son of the Celestial Race?!’
’How is that possible?!’
The three of them stood there, the shock in their hearts like a raging tidal wave.
After a long time, the three finally came back to their senses.
Looking at the monster’s corpse, they exchanged glances. "Senior Sister Lu, this... should we take it back?"
"Do as Senior Chen Yu said. This... this Hell Nether Race corpse must be taken back."
The leading woman ordered immediately.
"But Senior Sister Lu, we haven’t even completed our mission yet," one of the young men said.
"This is the important matter. Forget the mission for now," Senior Sister Lu said.
Hearing this, the others nodded. They immediately stored the monster’s corpse and quickly vanished into the forest.
