My Talent Skill Mutated

Chapter 483: Annihilation

  • Next Chapter

Cosmic Deep Space.

Deep within a vast starfield, a black-robed figure materialized out of thin air, descending upon a star.

‘What’s going on? Why do I suddenly feel so uneasy?’

‘Did something go wrong somewhere?’

The black-robed figure’s brows knitted together. As he gazed out at the vast starfield, he immediately activated his Divine Power. A dim Divine Light bloomed, and a bizarre, arcane Array materialized above his head.

He poured his Divine Power into the Array. Instantly, the Array hummed, and a spectral image appeared before his eyes.

But before he could get a clear look, the spectral image suddenly distorted and vanished in an instant.

At the same time, the dim Array collapsed, and the black-robed figure’s face turned pale.

‘I can’t deduce it… How is this possible?’

His face pale, Divine Power surged around him as he once again gathered his energy to form the Array. However, the result was exactly the same.

The spectral image collapsed and vanished the moment it formed.

‘Damn it, what the hell is going on? Why can’t even my Nether Race’s Array deduce anything?’

Watching the Array disintegrate again, the black-robed figure’s expression turned grim. The unease in his heart grew stronger.

SPURT…

Suddenly, he violently spat out a mouthful of blood. The black-robed figure’s expression changed drastically, and he immediately took out a jade disk from his waist.

The jade disk was covered in a dense web of cracks, which were still spreading.

The cracks multiplied until, under the black-robed figure’s gaze, the jade disk could hold no longer. It shattered completely, turning to dust.

‘The divine statue… it’s been destroyed…’

‘Damn it, why did this happen?!’

At the realization that the divine statue had been destroyed, the black-robed man’s face twisted in fury.

The destruction of the divine statue meant the loss of a teleportation point.

The impact this would have on subsequent plans was absolutely unimaginable.

It might even threaten his own position.

“Damn it all, who did this?!” Looking out at the starfield, the black-robed figure erupted with a heaven-shaking aura. The terrifying Divine Power he unleashed nearly caused the surrounding stars to tremble.

Under the waves of his Divine Power, thousands of stars were instantly ground into dust.

Rage burned within him like erupting lava.

His majestic might nearly shattered the vacuum of space.

After a long while, he finally calmed down.

Then, with a wave of his hand, a spectral map appeared before his eyes.

On the spectral map, countless special red dots flickered, packed densely together.

Among them, one red dot that had been shining brightly suddenly dimmed and went out completely.

‘The Celestial River Star System… the Celestial Blue Realm.’

Staring at the indicator on the spectral map, the black-robed figure clenched his fists.

‘Damn it, the Celestial River Star System again,’ the black-robed figure seethed, looking at the extinguished point of light.

One incident after another had occurred in the Celestial River Star System.

He felt that something must be wrong somewhere.

‘Forget it. I’ll endure it for now. Whoever destroyed the divine statue must be quite powerful. I can’t jeopardize the grand plan.’

Forcing himself to remain calm, the black-robed figure waved his hand, and the spectral map vanished.

He glanced at the starry sky, then vanished from where he stood.

—

“It’s finally done!”

It had taken three days—the longest he had spent on a single task in recent memory.

But acquiring a colossal World Tree, a specimen ninety thousand spans high, made it all worthwhile.

This World Tree had already given birth to a Celestial Dao will.

However, this type of Celestial Dao will was incomparable to a true spirit; it possessed only a nascent consciousness.

It was completely chaotic and couldn’t form a Celestial Dao incarnation.

“The divine statues are destroyed too. Looks like I’ve eliminated the hidden threat.” Gazing at the divine statues that had crumbled to dust, Chen Yu let out a long sigh of relief.

It was mostly as he had predicted, though there were some minor differences.

He hadn’t expected the three Demon God statues to collapse on their own the moment he finished collecting the World Tree.

Not only did they collapse, but they also left him a pleasant surprise.

The destruction of the three Demon God statues left behind three Divine Origins, each at the level of a Tier Three True God.

However, these Divine Origins didn’t contain any Laws, so they couldn’t help him achieve enlightenment.

He would have to wait until he became a Tier Two True God and cultivated a Supreme Divine Kingdom. Only then could he convert these Divine Origins into his own energy to enhance his Divine Power.

This trip to the Langya Anomaly had been an enormous haul.

After a glance at his Chaotic Space, Chen Yu vanished.

…

Langya Anomaly. The Gate of Space-Time distorted, and Chen Yu’s figure stepped out from within.

But the moment he stepped out, he froze.

A group of people, more than a dozen of them, stood before him.

It seemed they were waiting specifically for him.

Chen Yu stared at the group, stunned.

“Greetings, Senior Chen Yu.”

The leader, an old man, bowed deeply, his tone filled with respect.

“Who are you?” Chen Yu asked, his brow furrowing.

The old man looked up, a friendly smile on his face. “Senior Chen Yu, we are from the Celestial Blue Realm’s Extraordinary Alliance. I am an elder of the Extraordinary Alliance.”

‘Extraordinary Alliance…’

Hearing this, Chen Yu instantly understood.

Looking at Chen Yu, the elder bowed again. “We were unaware of your arrival in the Celestial Blue Realm, Senior Chen Yu. Please forgive us for not welcoming you sooner.”

“It’s fine. I only came to the Celestial Blue Realm for a personal matter. What can I do for you?” Chen Yu asked calmly.

‘They knew I was here and waited for me on purpose.’

‘It must be because of the being from Hell.’

‘Since I let the others go before, it’s not surprising that the Extraordinary Alliance found out so quickly.’

‘The Extraordinary Alliance operates across the nine realms. It’s perfectly normal for them to have such resources and methods.’

Hearing Chen Yu’s question, the elder immediately spoke up. “Senior Chen Yu, we came about the situation with the being from Hell. You resolved a hidden danger within the academy, and for that, I must thank you, Senior Chen Yu.”

“Secondly, we wanted to ask if this being from Hell is related to the Langya Anomaly.”

Listening to the elder, Chen Yu looked at him and said, “Mm, your guess is correct. The being from Hell is indeed related to the Langya Anomaly.”

“There was a hidden contingency left behind by a race from Hell inside the Langya Anomaly, but it was not yet complete.”

“And this contingency?” the elder asked, looking at Chen Yu with curiosity.

“It’s been taken care of,” Chen Yu said flatly.

“Taken care of…”

Hearing this, the elder and the others all breathed a simultaneous sigh of relief.

‘As long as it’s been taken care of, everything is fine.’

‘Now we have nothing to worry about.’

‘If a True God took action and something still went wrong, it wouldn’t be a problem they could solve anyway.’

“Thank you, Senior Chen Yu,” the elder said, bowing again.

Chen Yu waved his hand. “There’s no need for thanks. I’m part of the Human Race, too. It was a problem that needed solving, so I solved it.”

“In that case, Senior Chen Yu, should we permanently seal the Langya Anomaly?” a middle-aged man asked.

Chen Yu shook his head. “No need. This Anomaly Realm is quite good. It can be used as a training ground for the elite students of the Celestial Blue Realm to improve their strength.”

Hearing this, everyone nodded.

Since Chen Yu had spoken, they naturally had no objections.

A True God Venerable was equivalent to one of the leaders of the Human Race!

“Senior Chen Yu, is there anything you need to do in the Celestial Blue Realm? Is there anything we can help you with?” a beautiful woman asked, her tone eagerly attentive.

Chen Yu shook his head. “There’s nothing. It’s something I need to handle myself. You’ve all worked hard. You can disperse. Be more vigilant when you return, to prevent any further issues.”

Hearing this, the group nodded.

Then, with a flicker, Chen Yu’s figure vanished without a trace.

Watching Chen Yu disappear, the group exchanged glances. After one last look at the Gate of Space-Time in the Langya Anomaly, they too dispersed.
