Chapter 1212: Conditions To Reach Demi God

The Dragon Saint’s eyes widened the moment he recognized Aurora, and for a brief moment, I could almost see his mind struggling to process what he was seeing.

He had probably expected to deal with me and return to Prime Galaxy, but the appearance of a true Demigod had clearly been beyond his expectations. His expression changed so quickly that it was almost amusing. The fear from my aura was still present, but now it was accompanied by an almost ridiculous level of respect.

"Defender Aurora!" he exclaimed as he immediately straightened his clothes and bowed deeply. "It is an absolute honor to meet you. I had no idea you were here."

Aurora looked at him calmly. "Is that so?"

"Of course!" he said hurriedly. "Everyone in Prime Galaxy knows of your greatness. Your achievements and contributions to the defense of the universe are legendary. It is truly an honor to stand in your presence."

I raised an eyebrow.

The same man who had been complaining about wasting his time on Abor moments ago was now practically trying to crawl into Aurora’s good graces.

Aurora didn’t seem particularly impressed. She simply nodded before looking toward me.

The Dragon Saint immediately understood and turned back toward me, this time with an expression that contained nothing but respect. "Lord Billion, I was sent here to respectfully invite you to the Council meeting. I sincerely hope you will forgive my earlier behavior. I was ignorant of the circumstances and spoke far beyond my position."

He bowed again.

"I will await your arrival in Prime Galaxy."

Before I could answer, Aurora spoke.

"You don’t need to wait. Return to Prime Galaxy for now. Billion has something else he needs to take care of first. Once we are finished, he will attend the Council meeting."

The Dragon Saint immediately nodded.

"Of course, Defender Aurora. Whatever you say."

He turned toward me and bowed once more. "Lord Billion, I shall inform the Council that you will arrive after your current affairs are concluded. Please take your time."

I almost smiled at the complete transformation in his attitude.

"Very well."

The Dragon Saint thanked Aurora several more times before finally taking his leave. His figure disappeared into the distance, and only after he was completely gone did Steve let out a laugh.

"That was quite the change."

North shook her head with an amused expression. "I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone change personalities that quickly."

Aurora had been watching the entire exchange with a faint smile, but there was something different about her expression now. She looked more serious than she had when she first arrived.

"Billion, come with me. There is something I need to discuss with you."

"What happened?"

"I’ll explain once we’re away from here."

I nodded.

We left Abor together, moving through the atmosphere and eventually entering the vast emptiness of the Void.

I turned toward her.

"What is it?"

She looked at me for a moment before speaking.

"Amun asked me to come here and tell you something personally."

I immediately became more attentive.

"What did he say?"

Aurora’s expression became serious.

"You have six months."

I frowned slightly.

"Six months for what?"

"To break through to the Demi-God realm."

For a moment, I simply stared at her.

"Six months?"

She nodded.

"Six months from now, the leaders of the major forces will gather in Prime Galaxy. Amun has already announced that a new Demigod will join them at that gathering."

I understood immediately.

"He expects me to be that Demigod."

"Yes."

I couldn’t help but sigh.

"Amun really enjoys putting pressure on people."

Aurora smiled faintly. "He does. But this time, there is a reason. Your identity and your recent growth have already attracted attention. The Eternals know about you. Their spies are everywhere, and once they learn that you are approaching the Demi-God realm, they will become even more interested in you. Amun wants you to reach that realm before the meeting because your presence there will change the balance of power."

I remained silent for a moment.

Six months.

Under normal circumstances, that would have sounded absurd.

But I had already pushed my existence to the absolute limit of the Saint realm.

My seven Major Laws had all reached Level 10. My existence parameters had reached Saint Rank III. My Soul had fully descended, my Soul Force had transformed, and part of it had already become Golden Soul Force. I had even begun touching something that ordinary Saints could not comprehend.

Still, there was a difference between touching the boundary and actually crossing it.

"What exactly is the Demi-God realm?" I asked.

Aurora’s expression became thoughtful.

"To understand that, you first need to understand what the Saint realm represents."

I waited.

"A Saint stands at the pinnacle of Law."

She raised one hand, and a faint fluctuation of energy appeared around her fingers.

"At the Saint realm, a cultivator can comprehend Laws to an extraordinary level. They can perfect Major Laws, construct Domains, and eventually bring those Laws to their absolute limit. A powerful Saint can even make their Domain dominate the surrounding reality."

Her eyes moved toward me.

"You have already reached that point, Billion. In fact, you have gone further than most Saints ever will."

I didn’t interrupt her.

"But the Saint realm has a ceiling. No matter how powerful your Laws become, you are still using the existing Laws of reality. You understand them. You control them. You can impose them upon others through your Domain. But you have not yet touched the fundamental Origin behind them."

"Origin."

Aurora nodded.

"The Demi-God realm begins when a cultivator takes their first step beyond Law and touches Origin."

I could immediately feel the significance of those words.

"A Law tells you how something behaves," she continued. "Origin is closer to the reason that aspect of reality can exist at all. A Saint can understand the Law of Fire and control fire to an extraordinary degree. A Demi-God begins seeking the Origin that exists beneath that Law."

"So reaching Demi-God requires understanding Origin."

"Yes. But understanding it alone isn’t enough."

Aurora’s expression became serious again.

"There are three fundamental conditions for breaking through to the Demi-God realm."

I focused completely on her.

"The first is the completion of your Laws."

She looked toward the distant stars.

"A cultivator must push their primary Laws to their absolute limit. For most Saints, this means reaching the highest level of Major Law comprehension and perfectly integrating those Laws with their existence and Domain. Until the Laws are complete, there is no foundation from which to reach the Origin."

I thought about my own Laws. Seven Level 10 Major Laws.

I had already fulfilled that condition.

Aurora continued.

"The second condition is Origin Awakening. You must discover the Origin hidden beneath at least one of your perfected Laws. You cannot simply study someone else’s Origin or copy another person’s understanding. You must comprehend it yourself. The Origin has to become something you truly understand rather than something you merely borrow."

I narrowed my eyes. That sounded considerably more difficult.

"How many Laws must be transformed into Origins?"

"At the beginning?" Aurora shook her head. "Only one is necessary. A single awakened Origin can serve as the foundation of the breakthrough. More can be developed later as your understanding deepens."

That made sense. Then came the final condition.

"The third condition is the creation of the Divine Core."

I looked at her.

"The Divine Core is the foundation of a Demi-God’s existence. It is formed when your Soul, Soul Force, Origin, and Domain begin to merge into a higher form of existence. Your Soul Force must become sufficiently pure and powerful to support that transformation. Once the Divine Core is successfully formed, your existence will no longer be that of a Saint."

My thoughts immediately moved toward my Soul Sphere.

The condensation.

The Golden Soul Force.

The strange transformation that had begun after I absorbed the black ocean and Verilux’s Soul Force.

Aurora seemed to notice the change in my expression.

"Your recent transformation is one of the reasons Amun believes you can accomplish this in six months."

I remained silent.

She continued, "But don’t misunderstand. Having enough power is not the same as fulfilling the conditions. You can possess an enormous amount of Soul Force and still remain a Saint forever if you cannot awaken an Origin."

I slowly nodded. That was the real bottleneck.

My strength was no longer the biggest problem.

Understanding was.

Aurora looked at me calmly.

"You have already completed the first condition. Your Laws are at their absolute limit. Your Soul Force is beginning its transformation, which gives you a strong foundation for the third condition. But the second condition is something no one can do for you."

"Origin Awakening."

"Yes."
