My Three Babies Have Different Fathers

Chapter 82: Are we forgetting something?

"Mother..." Sean finally called after discussing a few things with Dion Sexa, who had left as soon as their conversation was over.

Hana raised her head and turned toward him. "What is it?"

"We have to leave now. There will be trouble here soon," Sean said as he walked over to Hana.

Hana was stunned. "Trouble? Sean, what kind of trouble?"

Hana clenched her fingers as she remembered the trouble she had caused before arriving at this hospital. Was that problem coming back to haunt her?

Sean shook his head. "That’s not it, Mother. You don’t need to worry about that problem anymore. Father has already taken care of it. This is something else. It seems your former lover wants to take you back from us."

Hana blinked several times. "Sean, you... how do you know about Mother’s former lover?" she asked.

Sean shook his head. "It’s much more complicated than you think, Mother. Hurry and get ready. We have to leave this place as soon as possible."

Hans stared at Sean for a few moments. "Dion wants to confront the successor?"

Sean nodded. "His secretary and several of his men have been detained by the people working for the successor of the eastern territory."

"Detained?"

"Mother, we don’t have any more time. Father only gave us five minutes to get ready. The small aircraft he arranged is waiting for us on the hospital roof."

Hana blinked again at Sean’s words. An aircraft? Confronting the successor of the eastern territory? Had she heard him wrong? Weren’t those things beyond the reach of ordinary people? How could they possibly be involved in such matters?

However, before Hana could think any further, Hans immediately lifted her into his arms and carried her out toward the hospital roof.

Sean, Zahn, and Kevin exchanged nods before quickly gathering their belongings and following behind them.

As soon as they arrived on the roof, they saw a gray aircraft bearing a distinctive logo waiting there.

"Mrs. Hana, Young Masters," greeted Dion Sexa’s second secretary, who had stepped out of the aircraft.

His forehead creased slightly when he saw Hana in the arms of Hans Xin, the ruler of the southern territory of the Melvin Continent.

"Mr. Hans... You..."

Sean stepped closer to him. "He’s my third father. He’ll be coming with us. Father has also given me an order. He’s the one who will handle any trouble that might arise later," Sean explained.

Dion’s secretary finally nodded and let them all board.

Hans merely snorted at the way Dion Sexa’s secretary looked down on him.

As soon as the aircraft door closed, Sean looked at his two brothers with a hesitant expression.

"Are we forgetting something?" he asked.

Zahn and Kevin immediately turned toward him.

"Forget something? What are we forgetting?" Kevin asked, tilting his head.

Zahn chimed in, "With our brains, is it even possible for us to forget something?"

Sean shook his head. "I guess I’m overthinking things," he said, waving his hand.

Hans took a bottle of cold water from the refrigerator on the aircraft and handed it to Hana. He acted as though the aircraft belonged to him.

Dion’s secretary simply sat and watched them from a distance. He shook his head in disbelief at Hans’s behavior as the aircraft began to take off.

On the hospital’s seventh floor, Jezy was about to leave and head to Hana’s room when she was stunned to discover that it was empty.

She looked around, then cursed under her breath.

"What wonderful sons-in-law and grandchildren. They just abandoned us after meeting Hana?" Jezy grumbled irritably.

She immediately turned around and hurried toward Orland’s room.

"It seems I’ll have to give Hana’s three children much more intensive training in the future," she muttered all the way there.

However, just as she was about to enter Orland’s room, Jezy stopped in her tracks. A large group of people dressed entirely in black was already inside.

Jezy shook her head in disbelief again.

"Look at how considerate they are. They really left us behind with another bunch of enemies."

Without wasting any time, Jezy hurried to the public restroom. Once inside, she took out her phone and called the Hesh family’s people.

"Send the Hesh family’s men to XXXXX Hospital in the eastern territory of the Melvin Continent," she ordered firmly. "Our family head won’t be able to escape if the successor of the eastern territory of the Melvin Continent really attacks your master here, especially in his current condition."

"All right," someone on the other end of the phone replied. "Give us five minutes."

Jezy locked the restroom door, then sat on the sink and waited for Orland’s people to arrive and pick her up.

Her two twin sisters and Orland Hesh should be safe from attack for the next five minutes, Jezy thought.

In front of the hospital, Dion Sexa sat on a chair he had brought down from the upper floor. He looked arrogantly at Brandon Vein and his men, then lit the cigarette in his hand and took a slow drag.

"Brandon Vein... the successor of the Vein family," he said. "Have you missed your uncle so much that you couldn’t bear to stay apart for long before coming to see me again?" he taunted.

Brandon stared at Dion, who was still sitting leisurely in his chair.

"Where is Hana?" he asked directly.

Dion sneered. "Why are you asking me? Your mother should know much better, shouldn’t she?"

"Dion Sexa," Brandon called in a low voice.

Dion crossed his legs, then leaned forward slightly. He showed no sign of being intimidated by the people Brandon had brought with him.

"Do you think bringing your men here will scare me? Hahaha! What an idiot."

"Your secretary and your men are in my hands. If you displease me even once, they’ll die," Brandon threatened.

Dion Sexa nodded as though he understood the threat.

"I don’t have just one secretary. If I lose one, I still have others," Dion replied casually.

"Your secrets—all of them—are known to your secretary. Let’s make a bet. Do you think he’ll reveal all your trump cards to me if I torture him a little?" Brandon asked.

Dion Sexa’s relaxed smile faded slightly. He stared sharply at Brandon, as though assessing how much the man actually knew.

"Do you think my secretary will reveal all my trump cards just because of the torture you put him through? It seems you’ve forgotten something. I also have some of your mother’s trump cards," he said.

"Take a guess. What will happen if both our trump cards are exposed to the public? Which of us will fall first?" he asked with a condescending smile.

Brandon snorted. However, before he could respond, one of his men approached and whispered something into his ear.

Brandon’s forehead creased. He immediately turned to look at the man before shifting his gaze back to Dion Sexa, who still wore that infuriating expression.

"Get the people at the border ready. No matter what happens, don’t let that aircraft leave this territory," he ordered.

Brandon’s subordinate nodded, then quickly stepped away to contact the border authorities.

Dion watched Brandon’s actions before finally speaking.

"Aren’t you afraid of hurting Hana?" he asked. "She no longer belongs to you. Chasing after the love of your youth is nothing but nonsense. Besides..."

Dion paused, letting his words hang between them. His gaze grew even sharper before he continued in a lower voice.

"Can you guarantee that your mother won’t hurt Hana again? Like what happened earlier... or like what happened seven years ago?"
