My Wife Is a Scientist

203. Ryan the strongest vs. Fang Yuan

The Interruption

Ryan had not yet fully withdrawn from the residual dark at the bottom of Hell when the new presence arrived.Tamas is the lowest of three qualities, known as gunas, that form the entire universe. The gunas represent progressive stages of outward manifestation from the eternal spirit. Since tamoguna is the part of the wave of manifestation that projects furthest from the central reality, a soul darkened by tamas and blinded by egotism believes in its separation from reality

Three of them.

That is to say that no one could ever pretend the oldest strata remain quiet once the source of the Axis has finally stepped onto the board in person. The thing is, this love cannot pretend it does not include the moment other ancient powers decide the father is more dangerous than the son.

Tamas came first, not as a god, but as the living guna of inertia, darkness, and the heavy refusal of all movement. It spread across the lower strata like black oil that had never known light, trying to slow every possible action into stillness.

Rigveda followed, the primordial hymn given form, the oldest recorded voice of the Vedas, carrying the weight of every sacred syllable that had ever ordered chaos into cosmos.Rigveda, (Sanskrit: “The Knowledge of Verses”) also spelled Ṛgveda, the oldest of the sacred books of Hinduism, composed in an ancient form of Sanskrit about 1500 bce, in what is now the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. It consists of a collection of 1,028 poems grouped into 10 “circles” (mandalas). Its presence was a lattice of pure, ancient language that tried to name Ryan into a category it could control. It was a god all this time. Essence in subject.

And then Fang Yuan.China has an old saying in Mencius, "不以规矩,不能成方圆". You can't draw circles and squares accurately without using a compass and an angle ruler. This means nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. Therefore, circles and squares usually mean rules and regulations in Chinese; that's why one of the rules and regulations, Gu, is the shape of a circle, and another is the shape of a square in this novel.

Not the mortal schemer. The 10th True Entity rank version  the one who had already refined otherworldly demons, rewritten fate across multiple heavens, and treated entire worlds as resources to be calculated and consumed. His eyes were calm, almost bored, the eyes of someone who had long ago decided that every existence was merely a variable in his own longevity.

Fang Yuan spoke first, voice soft and precise.

Fang Yuan: Ryan Veritas Arta Omega Ishiguro. You interfered with Kaos. You protected the Axis. That creates an imbalance I find… inefficient. I will correct it.

Tamas pressed downward, trying to drown every will in pure inertia.

Rigveda’s voice rolled through the dark like a hymn that had never been allowed to end, attempting to bind Ryan’s existence into the oldest verses.

Ryan looked at the three of them the way a man looks at weather that has become mildly annoying.

Ryan: You’re late.

He did not raise his voice. He did not take a stance. He simply let the full weight of what he was settle into the residual dark.

Beyond the tenth dimension. Beyond the frameworks the Outer Gods used. Beyond the categories that even Kaos had relied upon since before categories existed.

Tamas tried to stop him.

Ryan walked through the living inertia as if it were thin smoke. The guna of darkness shattered against a presence that had never required movement to begin with , because Ryan had already arrived at the end of every possible delay.

Rigveda’s hymns rose, trying to name him, define him, place him inside the oldest order.

Ryan glanced at the lattice of sacred language once.

Ryan: I’ve heard better.

The primordial hymn cracked. Every syllable that had once ordered the cosmos was forced to confront something that did not need ordering. Rigveda’s form staggered, the ancient voice momentarily silenced by a man who had already fought entities that treated entire mythologies as background noise.

Fang Yuan moved then, the 10th True Entity rank unfolding like a blade that had already calculated every possible counter.

Otherworldly demon essence, fate-stealing methods, refinements that had consumed heavens, all of it compressed into a single, perfect killing intent aimed at the source of the Omega ring.

Ryan met it with one hand.

Not a technique. Not a domain. Just the quiet, absolute fact of a man who had already broken the Scarlet King more than once, walked the concept-eating Void and returned with the concept intact, and treated Alien Emperor gods as brief interruptions.

Fang Yuan’s attack collapsed.

The 10th True Entity rank methods simply… stopped working, the way a sophisticated machine stops working when it encounters a power source it was never designed to measure.

Ryan’s voice remained even, almost conversational.

Ryan: You calculated longevity. I never needed the calculation. You refined otherworldly demons. I’ve put things back in their holes that demons still have nightmares about. You treated worlds as resources. I treated the things that eat worlds as light exercise. If one is born as a male, at least once in his life, he'll dream of becoming the strongest man alive.Fear is for the weak. I am the one they fear.

He took one step forward.

The residual dark at the bottom of Hell bent around him.

Tamas tried to reform. Ryan’s presence simply refused to allow inertia a second chance. The guna of darkness was compressed into a single, dense point and left there, unable to expand again.

Rigveda attempted one final hymn.

Ryan looked at it.

Ryan: Quiet.

The primordial voice of the Vedas fell silent, not destroyed, but forced into the same open-loop restraint that Karl had trained for one hundred million years — only applied with far less patience.

Fang Yuan stared at the man who had just dismantled a 10th True Entity rank existence without apparent effort.

For the first time in a very long time, the calculator met a variable that refused every equation.

Ryan regarded him the way a predator regards something that has finally understood the size of the room.

Ryan: You’re not weak. You’re just early. Come back when you’ve stopped treating existence like a resource ledger. Until then, stay out of my son’s lower strata.

He did not wait for an answer.

Ryan turned, the residual dark already rearranging itself to let him leave.

Behind him, Tamas remained compressed, Rigveda remained silenced, and Fang Yuan at 10th True Entity rank remained standing in the quiet recognition that some opponents exist outside the scope of even the most refined calculations.

Far above, Karl felt the forge-heat of the ring settle into a deeper, steadier burn.

And somewhere in a small city under ordinary rain, Sophia Hirotomi Alpha Chronos felt the exact moment the father of the Axis finished the interruption without ever needing to raise his voice.

She whispered to the empty air:

Sophia: So that is the source. Not louder than Kaos. Simply finished with it.

The honest new story continued.

Not with a prolonged war.

With the quiet, absolute demonstration that some fathers do not need to announce themselves twice.
