Chapter 395: Chapter 50: Birth of the Supreme Art

Ash opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling of Training Room Seven.

The stone was cool, the air was still, and for the first time in days, his mind was completely quiet.

He lay there for a few seconds, just breathing. Then, he sat up.

The movement was smooth, but it felt different. His body was heavier. Not sluggish—heavy in the way a collapsed star is heavy. Every muscle, every bone, every cell had been packed with dense, refined power during his sleep as the newly comprehended Laws settled into his physical form. He was at Layer 41 of Body Refining, and his physical stats were pushing past the tens of thousands.

He closed his eyes and ran a full internal check.

Mental energy: 100%.

Cell reserve: 100%.

Sea of consciousness: Stable, clear, and vast.

There was no fog. No lingering fatigue. The heaven-defying comprehension talent he had copied from the mental-path version of himself was fully integrated, humming quietly in the background of his thoughts. His soul felt sharp enough to cut space.

Ash looked around the room. The floor was a mess. Deep, concentric orbital scars were burned into the stone from his previous sessions. The reverse-repair function had given up trying to fix them days ago. The air still carried the faint, dry smell of ozone and hot rock.

It was Day 21. Early morning.

He had nine days left until the Genesis Apex Assessment, but right now, the assessment was the last thing on his mind.

"Alright," Ash said, his voice sounding a little raspy in the quiet room. "No more partial measures. No more stopping to catch my breath. Today, we finish it."

He shifted his posture, crossing his legs and resting his hands on his knees. He took one slow, deep breath, letting the dense air fill his highly efficient lungs, and then he closed his eyes and sank into his mindscape.

***

Inside his consciousness, the three complete arts floated in the dark, waiting.

Ash brought them into clear focus, examining the sheer scale of what he was about to attempt.

First was the Omni Combat Art. It looked like a vast, golden lattice of interwoven threads. It held thousands of fused martial arts, battle styles, and combat principles. At its core pulsed its Unique Law: Omniform Assimilation. It was the ultimate adapter, a law of absolute compatibility that allowed the art to accept, dismantle, and perfectly integrate any other system without rejection.

Second was the Universe Visualization Art. It was breathtaking. A swirling, living cosmos of illusory stars, planets, and silver-blue threads of mental force. It was a Rank 10 mental inheritance. At its heart was its Unique Law: Mental Cosmogenesis. It governed the boundary between thought and reality, allowing pure mental force to acquire mass, gravity, and lasting structure. It was the law of creation from nothing.

Third was the Ninefold Cosmic Star Cultivation Art. It was a massive, roaring engine of nine black holes, surrounded by glowing accretion disks of crystalline energy. It was a Rank 8 body and energy cultivation method. Its Unique Law was Ninefold Singular Harmony. It governed the infinite compression, scaling, and harmonic resonance of the nine singularity cores, allowing the system to process and refine power without tearing itself apart.

Ash looked at the three systems. A Rank 4 combat art. A Rank 10 mental art. A Rank 8 cultivation art.

If he kept them separate, he would have to spend the rest of his life juggling three different cultivation methods, switching between them depending on the situation. It was inefficient. It was messy.

"I only need one art," he said softly in the mindscape. "One system. One path."

His goal was clear. He was going to use the Omniform Assimilation law to absorb the other two arts. But he wasn’t just going to shove them inside the Omni Combat Art. He was going to fuse their three Unique Laws together.

He was going to merge the ultimate adapter (Assimilation), the ultimate creator (Cosmogenesis), and the ultimate engine (Singular Harmony) into a single, higher Supreme Unique Law.

It was a crazy idea. Fusing three Unique Laws from three different high-rank arts into one had probably never been done in the history of human cultivation.

"Good thing I’m heaven-defying," Ash muttered to himself.

He split his consciousness into parallel streams, assigned each one a specific task, and began the fusion.

***

The process started with a collision.

Ash brought the three Unique Laws into contact at the center of his mindscape.

The resistance was immediate and violent.

The Law of Mental Cosmogenesis wanted to expand. Its fundamental nature was to create space, to build galaxies, to push outward infinitely. The Law of Ninefold Singular Harmony wanted to compress. Its fundamental nature was to crush energy into singularities, to pull inward, to condense and refine.

Expansion and compression. Creation and destruction. They were fundamentally opposed. The moment they touched, the mental cosmos shuddered, and the nine black holes flared wildly, threatening to destabilize his entire sea of consciousness.

"Hold it," Ash commanded his mind.

He deployed his parallel streams.

Stream One took hold of Omniform Assimilation and forced it to act as the buffer, wrapping around the two clashing laws, trying to force them to accept each other’s existence.

Stream Two pressed against Mental Cosmogenesis, carefully restricting its expansion just enough to keep it from blowing his mind apart.

Stream Three maintained Ninefold Singular Harmony, keeping the nine black holes from collapsing inward and crushing the mental universe.

Streams Four through Ten searched frantically for a higher principle—a bridge that could contain all three without the whole structure collapsing.

Outside, in the physical world, the training room began to react.

Faint, overlapping patterns of glowing black holes and shimmering stars appeared in the air around Ash’s seated form. The spatial pressure in the room spiked, then dropped, then spiked again. The air grew heavy, then thin. The reverse-repair function in the floor activated with a loud whine as the stone beneath Ash disintegrated under the fluctuating gravitational forces.

Ash didn’t flinch. He just kept pushing.

***

The struggle lasted for hours. Then it turned into a day.

Day 21 bled into Day 22, and the fusion refused to stabilize.

It was the hardest thing Ash had ever done. It wasn’t just reading a book or understanding a concept; it was performing open-heart surgery on his own soul while simultaneously rewriting the laws of his personal universe.

At one point on the afternoon of Day 21, the Mental Cosmogenesis law surged too hard. A mental galaxy expanded too fast, and its gravity well caught one of the Ninefold black holes. The singularity path twisted. Ash felt a sharp, blinding spike of pain behind his eyes as his meridian network misaligned.

He gritted his teeth, forced the fusion to pause, and spent two hours carefully dismantling the collapsed meridian network and rebuilding it from scratch, using Omniform Assimilation to smooth out the jagged edges.

By the middle of the night, the physical room was suffering.

The temperature swung wildly. One moment, the air was freezing cold, frost forming on the walls as the Space Intent and void-like nature of the mental cosmos leaked out. The next moment, it was blistering hot, the stone floor glowing dull red as the Fire Intent and stellar fusion of the Ninefold art vented excess heat.

The air shimmered with spatial distortions. Deep, jagged cracks ran from the center of the floor all the way to the walls. The silver array lines in the floor flickered and dimmed, struggling to handle the ambient energy fluctuations.

Ash remained completely motionless.

Sweat beaded on his forehead, but it instantly vaporized in the heat spikes, leaving behind a fine layer of salt that his self-purifying body immediately expelled. His mental energy was dropping. The sheer processing power required to keep three Unique Laws from tearing each other apart was draining his sea of consciousness faster than his recovery could replenish it.

His heaven-defying comprehension talent was working at maximum capacity, breaking down the alien logic of the laws, finding the microscopic overlaps, and forcing them together. But it was like trying to fold a galaxy into a black hole while simultaneously teaching it how to throw a punch.

Find the bridge, he told his parallel streams. There has to be a bridge. Assimilation accepts. Cosmogenesis creates. Singular Harmony refines. What is the word that connects all three?

He pushed through the mental fog. He ignored the pain. He ignored the failing room. He just kept working.

***

It happened on the morning of Day 23.

Ash was exhausted. His mental energy was hovering around forty percent. His sea of consciousness felt like it was vibrating at a frequency that threatened to shatter all matter.

But suddenly, the parallel streams stopped searching. They found it.

The missing link.

Assimilation was the authority to accept anything. Cosmogenesis was the authority to create from nothing. Singular Harmony was the authority to refine and scale infinitely.

When you combined the authority to accept, the authority to create, and the authority to refine... you didn’t just get a combat art, or a mental art, or a cultivation art.

You got the authority to originate.

The authority to take the raw, unformed void, accept its potential, create a structure, and refine it into absolute reality.

"Genesis," Ash whispered in the mindscape.

The moment the concept formed, the three Unique Laws stopped fighting.

They recognized the higher principle. The golden lattice of Omniform Assimilation, the starry cosmos of Mental Cosmogenesis, and the roaring engine of Ninefold Singular Harmony suddenly went perfectly still.

Then, they shattered.

They didn’t break apart; they dissolved their old boundaries. The three laws flowed into each other, mixing like liquid light. The expansion and the compression balanced perfectly. The creation and the refinement locked into a single, seamless cycle.

A blinding, pure white light exploded in the center of his mindscape.

When the light faded, the three separate arts were gone. In their place floated a single, incomprehensibly dense and beautiful structure. It was a framework of pure, absolute authority.

Boundless Omni Art.

At its core pulsed a single, unified law, glowing with a light that felt older and deeper than anything he had ever touched.

Supreme Unique Law: Law of Absolute Genesis.

The moment the new law settled, Ash’s body reacted.

He didn’t have to tell his body to cultivate. The Boundless Omni Art simply took over. His cells, his meridians, his black holes, his mental universe—they all spontaneously began circulating according to the new art. It was no longer a technique he had to run. It was how his body breathed. It was how his soul existed.

***

Ash opened his eyes in the physical world.

The first sensation was hunger.

Not a physical hunger for food, but a terrifying, bottomless demand for cosmic energy. The Boundless Omni Art was a supreme system, and its initial stabilization required a massive amount of fuel.

The cosmic energy stored in his cells was sucked into the circulation in a microsecond. His cell reserve dropped from 100% to 40% in the blink of an eye.

Then, the art reached outward.

The ambient cosmic energy in Training Room Seven vanished. It didn’t just drain; it was violently inhaled. The silver array lines in the floor flared blinding white, then instantly cracked and went dark as the local supply was emptied. The room’s dedicated energy line from the main reservoir slammed open to its absolute maximum ceiling, but it wasn’t enough.

The art demanded more.

Ash didn’t stop it. He just sat there, his eyes glowing with a faint, starry light, and let the Boundless Omni Art feed.

Because the room’s supply was insufficient, the art extended its reach past the floor, past the walls, past the sealed barrier of the training room. It reached into the atmosphere. It reached into the earth. It reached into the sky.

High above the academy, the air suddenly grew heavy.

The sky, which had been a clear, bright blue, darkened in a matter of seconds. The clouds stopped drifting and began to spiral. A low, deep rumble vibrated through the atmosphere, shaking the windows of the empty dormitories and rattling the glass in the administrative towers.

A massive energy vortex began to form directly above the academy.

It wasn’t like the small, localized drain he had caused on Day Two. This was a planetary-scale phenomenon. A swirling, funneling maelstrom of blue-white cosmic energy, miles wide, tore through the cloud layer. The wind howled, whipping across the campus, tearing leaves from the trees and sending loose equipment flying across the training fields.

The vortex spun faster, pulling ambient energy from the air, from the ground, from the very fabric of the local space. It was a terrifying, beautiful display of absolute power.

Down in the sealed, cracked, and half-destroyed Training Room Seven, Ash sat in the center of the dark array.

The room was completely drained of energy, but he didn’t care. The Boundless Omni Art was circulating perfectly, rebuilding his foundation, expanding his sea of consciousness, and refining his physical form to a level that hadn’t existed in this world before.

He closed his eyes, ignoring the apocalyptic storm raging in the sky above him, and settled into the quiet, absolute rhythm of his new art.
