Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation

Chapter 483: Some Time with Sun Luguo (2)

Chapter 483: Some Time with Sun Luguo (2)

Kyrian found himself in an extraordinarily luxurious room.

The floor was made of white jade, polished until it gleamed like a mirror. The stone was so clear that Kyrian could see his own reflection, distorted only by the gentle light radiating from small crystals embedded in the ceiling.

The walls were adorned with paintings of mountains and rivers, so detailed that they looked like windows into another world. The clouds within the paintings drifted slowly, an effect created by a subtle spiritual formation. Kyrian could feel Qi flowing through the paintings, keeping them alive.

At the center stood a massive round table made of dark spiritual wood. Its surface was as smooth as glass, but when Kyrian touched it, he felt the warm, organic texture of living wood. The wood grain formed patterns that resembled ocean waves.

The windows overlooked a large portion of the city. From where they sat, Kyrian could see the streetlights beginning to glow, flying boats crossing the night sky, and spiritual fireworks bursting in celebration. The view was breathtaking.

A formation completely isolated the room from the outside world. Kyrian noticed that, despite the open windows, not a single sound from the city reached them. Only the peaceful silence of the room, occasionally interrupted by the crackling of spiritual candles.

Sun Luguo simply sat down. His enormous body looked completely at ease in the elegant room, as though the wood and jade had been crafted specifically to accommodate him.

"Finally." He sighed, a sound of pure contentment.

"Eating in peace is one of life’s greatest pleasures. No matter how powerful you become, nothing ever surpasses a good meal."

Kyrian took his seat at the table. The chair was comfortable, upholstered with silk that seemed to conform to his body.

A few seconds later, several attendants entered carrying enormous menus. The books were bound in fine leather, with rice paper pages that glowed with a gentle light.

Sun Luguo simply pushed one of them toward Kyrian.

"Order whatever you want." The blacksmith smiled, his eyes gleaming.

"I’m paying today."

Kyrian calmly began flipping through the menu. There were hundreds of dishes, each described in meticulous detail.

Spirit beast meats of every rank, ranging from ordinary wild boars to legendary birds that could only be found in specific regions.

Fish caught from spiritual rivers, so fresh they still moved on the plate. Exceptionally rare fruits that grew only atop sacred mountain peaks. Vegetables enriched with Qi, cultivated in soil infused with spiritual energy.

Medicinal soups prepared with thousand-year-old herbs, capable of healing injuries and purifying meridians. Desserts made with spiritual honey, so pure they shone like tiny suns.

After a few minutes...

Kyrian closed the menu. He began placing his order.

"Rock Boar meat, Scarlet Bison ribs, Spirit Serpent stew, Cloud Chicken, Jade Rice, Moon Lake Fish, Thousand-Year Mushrooms."

Along with assorted spiritual fruits and five different kinds of desserts.

The attendants wrote rapidly, their brushes moving across the paper with professional efficiency.

Kyrian continued.

"In addition... a Fire Beast bone soup. A plate of vegetables from Misty Mountain. And... that tea mentioned on the last page."

Sun Luguo watched everything unfold. His smile grew wider and wider, his eyes shining with approval.

When Kyrian finally finished...

The enormous blacksmith burst into laughter.

"Hahahaha!" His laughter echoed throughout the room, filled with genuine joy.

"Excellent! I’ve finally found a disciple who knows how to eat!"

Without wasting any time, Sun Luguo added more dishes.

"Bring us two jars of your finest wine. The one that’s been aged for fifty years." He raised a finger.

"And three more meats, the Frost Beast, the Serpent Dragon, and the Earth Mole. Also, that whole wild boar you usually prepare, roasted slowly for eight hours."

The staff gave a deep bow before leaving.

Not long afterward...

The dishes began to arrive.

First came the appetizers, spiritual fruits, and small snacks shimmering with energy. Then the soups, steaming and fragrant. Next came the meats, each prepared differently, accompanied by sauces and side dishes that enhanced their flavors.

Then more dishes.

Then even more.

In less than fifteen minutes... The table was completely covered.

It looked like enough food to feed ten people. Plates overlapped one another, their vibrant colors creating a rainbow of flavors and textures. The aroma was intoxicating, a complex blend of herbs, spices, and spiritual ingredients.

Sun Luguo immediately grabbed a massive Scarlet Bison rib, still steaming.

"Food loses its charm once it gets cold."

Kyrian simply nodded. He began eating as well.

For several minutes...

The two of them did little besides eat.

Sun Luguo displayed a frightening appetite. Every piece of meat disappeared within a few bites, his powerful teeth tearing through the flesh with remarkable efficiency.

He ate with obvious enjoyment, without the slightest bit of ceremony, juices running down his fingers as he devoured everything before him.

Kyrian was not far behind.

His body, continuously strengthened through cultivation, consumed an enormous amount of energy every day. Every bite was converted into Qi, nourishing his newly formed meridians, strengthening his muscles, and refining his essence.

He sampled a bit of every dish. The Rock Boar meat was tender and juicy, with a subtle smoky flavor. The Scarlet Bison ribs were so tender they melted in his mouth. The Spirit Serpent stew had a rich, full-bodied broth that warmed his body from the inside out.

The Cloud Chicken was surprisingly light, almost seeming to float on the plate. The Jade Rice glowed with a faint green hue, each grain perfectly cooked. The Moon Lake Fish melted on his tongue, its flavor delicate and complex.

After the battle and the blacksmithing test, Kyrian’s body cried out for nourishment.

As they ate...

Sun Luguo finally started a conversation.

"How old are you?"

The question came naturally, almost like an idle thought.

"Sixteen."

The enormous man paused for a moment. His jaw, just about to bite into another rib, stopped midair.

’Sixteen...’

He looked at Kyrian again. The young man sat there calmly, eating with the same composure as always. But with his experienced eyes, Sun Luguo could see the subtle signs of a cultivator in the Core Formation Realm.

’Core Formation...’

That alone was impressive. Most cultivators his age were still in the Qi Release Realm, struggling to consolidate their foundations. Yet Kyrian had already surpassed that stage.

’His talent for cultivation isn’t bad either.’

Perhaps he wasn’t a monstrous genius like those of the Sky Family, those who awakened absolute talents and advanced by leaps and bounds. But he was certainly far above average.
