Chapter 540 (2): Elohim x the Man Who Fell to Earth

Divine Realm.

Wayne sighed as he stepped in, only to find the battlefield eerily silent and fully restored. No sign of goddesses in chaotic battle. He paled in shock, assuming that Elian had somehow triumphed and escaped, taking the five goddesses with Her as slaves.

Upon closer inspection, he realized the opposite was true: the five goddesses had triumphed and were training their newly acquired slave, Elian, together.

(??_??)

Fine, fine. You’re throwing an orgy without me?!

Bah, he meant, how did this happen? Even if Elian couldn’t win, She shouldn’t have lost this fast. What went wrong?

Wayne stepped forward and rushed into the sky. In the temple garden, he saw the five villainesses, along with Elian, who was being trained.

Outdoor, bondage, sixsome, tentacles, roleplay, uncensored...

That might not be entirely accurate, but it wasn’t far off from what he saw when he stepped in.

Elian was bound to a cross, her blonde hair disheveled, obscuring her stunning face. Her green gown had been torn apart, revealing large patches of flawless, fair skin.

Ines stood before Elian with a sneer, tilting Her chin up or lifting the hem of Her gown, occasionally threatening Her.

“Not talking? Do you know who my husband is? He would make a stubborn one like you wish for death in minutes!”

By Ines’s side, Aztimor and Seleucia each held a small octopus as they threatened Elian to spill the truth, or else they would make her intimately acquainted with the octopi.

Elian remained as quiet as a dead body.

Further away, Kaleb was eager to join the villainesses to debut as part of the squad. Siluk, however, desperately pulled Her back, trying Her best to convince Her friend to remain a moral, well-mannered goddess.

(一`′一)

Although Wayne couldn’t see Elian’s face, he could imagine the goddess with dim eyes, completely broken.

Again, why didn’t they wait for him?

“Outrageous! What are you doing? How could you do this to Elian?” Wayne strode forward, shooting Siluk a glare first. “Look what you’ve done. Kaleb, my warmest sun, has been corrupted by you!”

Siluk glared back at him. What nonsense. If She weren’t stopping Kaleb, Kaleb would’ve already joined the villainess squad.

“Hm?!” Wayne’s eyes widened further, his mouth agape. Spittle flew onto Siluk’s face as he spoke. “Glare at me again, and you’ll get it.”

Siluk clenched her fists, picturing Herself poking Wayne in the eyes with a peace sign. She gritted Her teeth and looked away, silently telling Herself that it was wise not to burn bridges, for both mortals and gods. Since She had already poked Wayne in the eyes, She would let him off easy this time.

“That’s more like it.” Wayne huffed, smacking Kaleb on the head with a hand chop. He warned Her to stay away from Siluk, and that learning everything from others would ruin Her. Then, he marched toward the ‘grill’ with disdain.

╭(╯^╰)╮

Ines, Aztimor, and Seleucia were the ones who tempted Kaleb to the dark side, while Siluk took the blame. Everyone had played their roles, and Wayne had proven himself to be fair in dishing out rewards and punishments. The team worked together for a bright future.

That was the only way it could be.

What else? Am I going to criticize Ines, Aztimor, and Seleucia for almost corrupting Kaleb? No way!

Ines was the boss’s spouse, Aztimor was the vassal he had corrupted by force, and Seleucia was a vassal he had tricked into joining him. He owed all of them, so he would sooner spoil them than scold them.

Thus, Siluk had to suffer.

Wayne smacked Aztimor and then Seleucia on the head, snatching the small octopi from their hands and stomping the critters until they burst. He turned to Ines with an unimpressed look. “You wanted to be the lady of my house, so I let you be. This is what you do with it?”

Ines tucked Her hair behind Her ear. The degenerates exchanged a knowing glance, and She immediately understood his intentions. “You think I wanted this? I’m not a wicked woman. I didn’t have a choice. Elian has offended everyone. If we don’t take our frustration out on Her, morale will collapse. This is for your own good.”

Wayne sucked in a breath. “My apologies. You endured this for the sake of the team? Don’t worry. I, and everyone else, fully support you as the lady of the house.”

Aztimor stared blankly at the two of them, muttering about their terrible acting. If they were so bored, they should just focus on bullying Elian. Trying to get Her to accept Ines as the lady of the house? Not even in their dreams!

The forced performance received no response. Even the gullible Seleucia and Kaleb didn’t react. He shook his head wordlessly. It was true that Elian had offended everyone, but Ines wasn’t nice, either. It wasn’t easy to make a wicked woman the lady of the house.

Wayne looked at Elian, who remained motionless, and frowned. “What happened? How did our Goddess of Nature suddenly end up like this?”

Aztimor, as the Goddess of Death, had the most say in this. She explained what had transpired.

After Wayne left, Elian went from one on five to one on four. The Goddess of Light’s involvement overwhelmed Elian, but just like Wayne, the goddesses couldn’t do anything to the Horseman of Death.

Then, for some reason, Elian suddenly lost Her power of Death. Her face drained of color as She shouted ‘impossible’ and ‘this can’t be’. Her will to fight crumbled, and the four goddesses were able to dominate Her.

The ‘Death’ Aztimor was referring to wasn’t the information that Elian had swindled out of Her, but the Death among the Four Horsemen, or Her position as a new god.

Wayne’s heart sank, and his expression darkened. He grabbed Elian by the face, his fingertips feeling around. Her tentacle hair was silky, and Her skin was smooth and bouncy. A little pressure left a delicate pink blush on Her pale cheek.

There were no signs of decay. Elian was alive.

His face darkened further. Through Her hair, he saw a pair of shut eyes. He sneered, “I thought you were a spy, but you turned out to be an abandoned pawn. My goddess, you’re truly pathetic now.”

He tightened his grip, clutching Her skull until it creaked sickeningly.

Elian’s bloodshot eyes flew open. She growled, “Give me a chance. I want revenge on Elohim.”

“Ha. You, of all people, trying to play the hero?” Wayne shot Her a disdainful look. “There is no chance for you, but we do have a doghouse. So? Are you ready to grovel at my feet, my prideful goddess?”

He despised Elohim, the true mastermind, but he had no sympathy for Elian, his accomplice. She had been betrayed and discarded either because She hadn’t been sharing Her loot or because She was stupid. She didn’t deserve his pity.

The old Londan noble never did mercy. His compassion was expensive.

Elian’s face darkened. “I can tell you everything about Elohim. I know his secrets. Give me a chance. I have no conflict of interest with you.”

“Nice try, but no!”

Wayne tightened his fingers, his palm seeping white foam that trickled into Elian’s nose, ears, and mouth. Amid Her cries of despair, he turned Her body and thoughts white.

At the same time, the tentacles of the Book of Greed slithered in and lapped up the last remnants of Her information on Nature, forcing open Her memory bank. He made a query with ‘Elohim’ as the keyword, rapidly scanning through the entries.

Wayne’s expression grew increasingly complicated, and he looked at Elian strangely. “No wonder you’re so prideful. It’s the princess syndrome.”

“What princess syndrome?” Ines asked impatiently. “Let me see.”

Wayne opened his mouth, but didn’t know where to start. He pulled his hand back and closed his eyes, organizing the information. “If you want to know anything, ask her. I’ve ordered Her to obey. She’s yours now.”

Elian had been around for so long that it would take time to fully process all Her memories. There were also precious memories he had to savor—it wasn’t memories of Elian bathing in the Fountain of Life and admiring Her own reflection, but precious memories about the world outside the box.

As Wayne had suspected, Elohim came from outside the box, and so did Elian. Not just them. Every life in the Chosen Land came from outside the box!!

Wayne didn’t want to say it aloud because some of the terrible information wasn’t goddess-friendly. Whoever said it would attract their ire, so it was better to let Elian explain.

Plop!

Elian’s liquefied body fell from the ‘grill’, writhing and reforming. She stared at Her hands in horror, Her face shrouded in despair.

She had become Wayne’s vassal and lost control over Her own life. She had no future.
