Naruto: I Stole Tsunade… and Became Hokage

Chapter 358 Hinata Was Adorable Even as a Child; A Daughter From the Future [HN]

It was late at night.

Inside the Hyūga clan’s main family residence, several core members of the main family were still awake. Candlelight flickered as they quietly discussed the most shocking event to happen in the village recently.

The Ōtsutsuki clan on the Moon had joined Konoha.

“Those Ōtsutsuki people seem to have some connection with our clan if we trace our history back far enough…”

“Hmph. They’re nothing more than defeated soldiers. I refuse to acknowledge them. They were supposed to guard the Moon, but in the end, they still came to Konoha?”

“Watch your words! You and I are both living in Konoha. How can you say something like that? We both know the Hokage’s methods.”

“…”

While they were discussing this, a black shadow swept past the window like a drop of ink blending into the night.

Strangely, several Hyūga members of the main family had their Byakugan activated, yet not one of them noticed the black shadow.

The shadow was extremely familiar with the layout of the Hyūga residence. She moved lightly through the layers of corridors and precisely arrived outside a nursery.

She passed through the closed sliding door as if she had no physical form and entered the room.

Moonlight passed through the window and gently fell upon the cradle in the center of the room, illuminating the appearance of the black shadow.

She was a girl of about sixteen years old, with a tall and heroic appearance.

She wore a black outfit suited for movement, outlining her already well developed figure.

Most eye catching were her black eyes, which sparkled beneath the moonlight and carried a hint of mischief.

She held her breath as she approached the cradle and looked down at the sleeping baby girl inside.

The baby looked about a year old. She wore a white baby kimono, and her soft, light purple hair rested against her forehead. Her little face was round and pink, and she was sleeping soundly with even breathing.

“Is this… what Big Sister Hinata looked like when she was little?”

The girl lowered her voice, excitement and curiosity filling her tone.

“She’s really cute. She’s so soft. No wonder she eventually ended up with Father.”

She reached out a slender finger, unable to resist wanting to poke that incredibly soft looking cheek.

At that moment, an extremely faint disturbance appeared in the air beside her, one that would have been impossible to notice without exceptionally sharp perception.

Like ripples spreading across water, another figure suddenly appeared inside the room.

She was also a girl of about sixteen years old, but she wore a dark blue short kimono with the Uchiha clan crest printed on the back.

Her appearance resembled the black clothed girl by about fifty to sixty percent.

However, she looked colder and more refined, with long black hair flowing down to her waist.

Her expression was calm, and her eyes carried a composure and maturity far beyond her age.

“Mirai, control your presence. Don’t forget why we came here.”

The girl who had appeared later spoke softly, her voice calm and steady.

“Got it, Chimi.”

The black clothed girl named Mirai stuck out her tongue.

She withdrew her finger, but her eyes remained fixed on the sleeping Hinata.

“I was just too curious! Look at her. She’s so cute! I really want to hold her!”

Chimi helplessly glanced at her sister before walking forward and looking down at the baby in the cradle.

Even her normally calm eyes showed a rare hint of warmth.

“Yes, she really is cute. Mother told us that Big Sister Hinata was very lovable even when she was little.”

Mirai could not resist reaching out again and gently touching Hinata’s tiny hand.

Hinata moved unconsciously in her sleep and grasped Mirai’s fingertip.

“Wow! She grabbed me!”

Mirai whispered excitedly, her eyes shining.

Chimi watched her sister’s childish behavior and shook her head, but she did not stop her again.

She also extended her index finger and gently brushed it across Hinata’s soft cheek, feeling the warmth and reality of the touch.

“So this is… the present of history?”

Chimi whispered to herself, her expression complicated.

What they were touching was the past that had not yet been completely written.

The two sisters played with Hinata for quite a while. Watching her unconsciously smile in her sleep softened their hearts.

Finally, Chimi took a deep breath and pulled Mirai away from the baby.

“Enough, Mirai. We still have something important to do.”

Mirai reluctantly withdrew her hand and carefully placed a small toy shaped like a delicate wind chime beside Hinata’s pillow. Fine runes were carved across it.

She had made the little object herself before coming here. It could produce a sound that soothed the mind.

“Something important…”

The smile on Mirai’s face faded slightly as she looked at Chimi.

“Shouldn’t we go find that guy called Black Zetsu first? According to the historical records, he knows the fastest way to awaken Aunt Kaguya’s consciousness.”

Chimi calmly shook her head, wisdom flashing in her black eyes.

“Black Zetsu himself is the embodiment of Aunt Kaguya’s will. He doesn’t know Father is his true identity right now. Dealing with him directly would only waste time.

“Our goal is to help Father directly locate the coordinates of Aunt Kaguya’s consciousness and avoid unnecessary complications along the way. But before that, we have to meet Father.”

Mirai froze for a moment, and a rare hesitation appeared on her face.

“Are we really going to find Father just like that? He doesn’t know us yet. Will he believe us? Two girls suddenly appearing and claiming to be his daughters…”

The thought of facing their father at this point in time, when he was still young and might be extremely cautious, made even the normally carefree Mirai feel nervous.

Chimi, however, remained unusually calm. She looked at Mirai with absolute certainty.

“He will believe us. Because he is Uchiha Chiya, our father. No matter which timeline he is in, he can distinguish the truth.”

She paused before adding, “Besides, his blood flows through our veins. That alone is the best proof.”

Mirai thought about it and felt that her sister had a point. She was naturally optimistic, so that small amount of nervousness was quickly forgotten.

“All right, all right, I’ll listen to you! Then let’s go. I can’t wait to see what Father was like when he was young!”

Chimi took one last look at the sleeping Hinata, her expression softening.

Then she took Mirai’s hand.

The two girls disappeared silently from the nursery, as if their figures had been erased with an eraser. Only the moonlight continued to flow quietly, while the little wind chime beside the pillow swayed slightly and gave off a faint, clear sound.

…

Almost at the exact moment the two girls disappeared, Chiya, who was reading documents in the Hokage’s office, suddenly stopped.

He raised his head sharply, and the purple rings in his Rinnegan began to rotate.

A massive wave of spiritual power instantly swept through the entire village of Konoha from his position.

Just now, he had clearly detected two extremely strange chakra fluctuations that had appeared and vanished in an instant.

These fluctuations were not traditional ninjutsu chakra, nor were they Natural Energy, and they were even different from the negative spiritual energy of the Reibi.

They were pure and profound, carrying an indescribable sense of familiarity.

There was also… an extremely faint resonance that seemed to originate from the same source as his own chakra.

‘Who are they?’

How could someone infiltrate Konoha so silently that even he almost failed to notice them?

Chiya’s figure merged into the spatial ripples.

His body disappeared from the office in an instant.

He caused no spatial disturbance and appeared above Hokage Rock as if he had teleported there.

This was the highest point in Konoha, where the entire village could be seen.

Cold moonlight fell upon the enormous stone faces of the previous Hokage and illuminated two slender figures standing side by side at the edge of the cliff.

They were Uchiha Mirai and Uchiha Chimi.

They seemed to have been waiting there for a long time and were smiling at Chiya’s sudden appearance.

Mirai’s eyes were filled with undisguised curiosity, excitement, and an indescribable sense of familiarity.

Chimi was more reserved, but beneath her calm gaze was also an excitement that was difficult to conceal.

Chiya’s eyes were as sharp as an eagle’s as he swept them over the two unfamiliar girls.

They were very young, beautiful, and extraordinary, but he was certain he had never seen them before.

However, that inexplicable sense of familiarity, especially the faint resemblance between their facial features and those of Tsunade and Mikoto, caused countless doubts to rise in his mind.

“Who are you?”

Chiya’s voice was cold and carried unquestionable authority.

His aura remained restrained, but the surrounding air had already become heavy.

The smile on Mirai’s face grew wider, carrying a hint of mischief.

She did not answer. Instead, she suddenly pushed off with her feet.

“Boom!”

The rock beneath her feet cracked like a spiderweb as her body shot toward Chiya like an arrow released from a bow.

She clenched her right fist, and chakra instantly gathered into it before she threw a simple yet powerful straight punch directly at Chiya’s face.

The wind struck his face, and before the fist even arrived, the powerful pressure caused the hair on Chiya’s forehead to flutter.

A trace of surprise flashed through Chiya’s eyes.

It was not because the attack was particularly powerful, but because the starting position, force generation, and other details of the taijutsu gave him an extremely familiar feeling.

This was clearly the essence of Tsunade’s taijutsu.

How could this girl know it?

‘Is she from the Senju clan?’

Countless thoughts flashed through Chiya’s mind in an instant.

He did not choose to counterattack with a powerful technique.

Instead, he raised his right hand and spread his fingers, precisely meeting Mirai’s fist with his palm.

He wanted to experience this power more clearly and confirm his suspicion.

“Bang!”

Fist and palm collided with a dull impact.

Chiya did not move at all, while Mirai was pushed several meters backward by the recoil.

However, there was no sign of frustration on her face.

Instead, her eyes lit up with excitement as she shook her slightly numb arm.

“Hehe, you’re really strong!”

Mirai grinned, her eyes burning as she stared at Chiya.

“Again!”

She rushed forward once more, her legs sweeping out like a whirlwind.

Her kicks were fierce and unpredictable, and the movements were still extremely familiar to Chiya.

They were taijutsu movements from the Uchiha clan.

However, when performed by the girl, they also carried her own unique style, which was even more agile and swift.

Chiya calmly blocked and dodged while carefully observing every movement and every expression Mirai made.

The spirited look between her brows, the slight movement at the corner of her mouth whenever she fought, and the way her hair shimmered beneath the moonlight…

She looked more and more like someone.

Tsunade.

And Chimi, who stood quietly watching the battle nearby, had a calm and intelligent manner that resembled still water.

The calmness and wisdom revealed by her black hair and black eyes, as well as the gaze that seemed capable of seeing through everything, gradually overlapped with another figure in Chiya’s memory.

An absurd and unbelievable thought, yet seemingly the only reasonable explanation, exploded in Chiya’s mind like thunder.

For the first time, when faced with the unknown, his heart experienced such a violent shock.

He deflected Mirai’s side kick and looked sharply at Mirai, who had stopped and was still smiling at him, and then at Chimi, who was slowly walking forward.

He asked in a deep voice, “Who exactly are you? What is your relationship with Tsunade… and with me?”

Mirai and Chimi exchanged a glance, and Chimi gently nodded.

Mirai took a deep breath, and the playful smile on her face faded slightly.

She looked at Chiya, her eyes and brows resembling Tsunade’s, now filled with longing and affection.

She spoke softly, her voice carrying a faint tremble.

“Father…”

Chimi stood beside Mirai and looked at Chiya as well. Her calm voice also carried a hint of warmth as she added, “Or rather, we are your daughters… from the future.”

Under the moonlight, on Hokage Rock, time and space seemed to freeze at that moment.

Chiya looked at the two girls who claimed to have come from the future and called him Father.

For the first time, an expression of complete disbelief appeared in his eyes.

“You are Mirai?”

Chiya’s gaze shifted to the girl beside Mirai.

“Then you must be Chimi?!”
