Chapter 94: Tobirama Finds Truth

Two days later;

Second Hokage entered the Hokage’s office while Naruto was alone.

"Second Hokage, do you need something?"

Naruto raised his head and asked.

Tobirama sat in front of Naruto and placed his hand on the table. Suddenly, several black markings released from the table and appeared on the wall.

Naruto saw this and remained silent. He could easily destroy this Sealing Jutsu, but it was only for soundproofing, so he wasn’t worried.

Tobirama looked at Naruto and spoke.

"Yeah! There is something that has been bothering me for the last two days. I saw the records of some of the things that Danzo has done."

"I also know that he is not the one who took down Koharu and Homura."

"What are you talking about, Second Hokage? We already have proof that he did this. Unless Danzo is willing to confess and show us his mind."

Naruto interrupted him.

Inside him, Kurama slapped himself on the face, and so did Minato. They almost forgot Naruto was just twelve years old kid.

He might have gotten the memories of his future self, but there were a lot of things that he hadn’t personally experienced.

It was like feeling the pain but not questioning how to avoid this pain in the future.

Naruto received the memories and experiences, but those experiences also gave him different thoughts.

He felt the pain that original Naruto felt after Jiraiya died, but he couldn’t connect with Jiraiya, and the memories didn’t make him understand why Jiraiya was so important.

It was not about strength or training. It was about a journey and every feeling that was born in that journey.

Naruto might’ve inherited the journey, but he didn’t inherit the feelings. That was intentional.

Even most of the memories were not absorbed by him until the Final Stage of the Chunin Exam started, and even then, some memories were hidden by Kurama.

"You don’t need to worry about me. I can’t kick you out of this position. I don’t have any proof."

"Honestly, I don’t really care. Your ability to manipulate Daimyo despite not using Genjutsu means you are using those two people."

"Their Chakra Signature is quite hidden, but they are appearing often with that Uchiha orphan. I believe you brought them back with Impure Reincarnation Jutsu."

"As I said, I really don’t care about any of that. You brought me out for research purposes, and I am willing to do that." ℴℴ𝘮

"But before any of this, I need to understand one thing. How do you know all of this?"

Before Naruto could speak, Tobirama continued.

"Don’t try to distract me or counter me with lies! The Impure Reincarnation Jutsu that you are using has been improved multiple times."

"It is even better than when Orochimaru summoned me. The information about Orochimaru is also not something you should have any access to."

"Especially the cloning part. Not to mention your Chakra. Don’t try to hide from me. I can sense that disgusting Uchiha clan’s Chakra from a distance."

"But of course, yours is not completely like theirs. There is a hint of the Senju clan’s Chakra as well."

"These are not things your father should be able to access. Even Shikaku has some suspicion, but he doesn’t have as much information as me."

"So, come clean, kid! How do you know all of this? Your training method, your idea to improve the shinobi. It’s like you are preparing for a war."

He looked at Naruto, straight into his eyes, and said.

"And not a war against the enemy villages. They are not your opponent. So, who are these enemies? How strong are they? I want all the information."

"This is not just about yourself anymore."

Hearing his words, Naruto couldn’t help but feel speechless. He never thought Tobirama would already figure out so many things.

He was careless in a few things, but not to that extent. Most of the information was figured out by Tobirama’s experience and intelligence.

"Naruto, you should tell him."

’Are you serious, Kurama?’

Naruto’s eyes widened as he shouted in his mind.

"Yes, the future has already changed, Naruto. You don’t have to take this burden alone."

Kurama replied in a deep tone.

Naruto suddenly felt exhausted as he leaned back in the chair.

He looked at the Second Hokage and sighed.

"You know what, Second Hokage. During the Chunin Exam, I encountered Orochimaru. A Genin encountered a Kage-level shinobi."

"Of course, I got beaten. But unlike normally waking up, a strange Chakra suddenly appeared in my teammate and transferred into my body."

Naruto placed his hands on the table, putting his chin on his palms as he continued.

"Then, I saw it. The whole future, everything I went through, every achievement I got, I saw it all."

"Future enemies, future friends, everything was like a flickering memory in my head. Fortunately, it didn’t end up in my head for long."

"It settled within Kurama, while I only received the experience, which included some of my future moves, Chakra Control, and fighting experience."

"For a while, not much had changed. I found that someone liked me, but I never saw that before."

"I found that a girl I always liked would never respond to my feelings. I saw that the person who protected me with his life would betray the village."

"But none of that mattered to me. I was confused. I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to preserve the future because I was worried about the change."

"But I also wanted to change some things. So, I thought of training. I thought of getting stronger and got the idea of Nature Transformation Body Training."

Tobirama was silently accepting this information. Although it was shocking, it wasn’t completely unexpected.

After all, there were a lot of confusing things already happening in this world.

Naruto continued.

"Then, my parents’ chakra woke up. I started feeling warmth, happy to be with my parents. I also started making progress in my strength."

"But do you know how it feels to have a burden so big that it crushes you mentally? You can’t make mistakes because you are afraid it will only make things worse."

"But if you don’t do anything, you will feel even more miserable inside. I was in that state for almost a month."

"Until I realized something. Why should I follow the script that was in my mind?"

"So, I decided I’m just gonna do my own thing."
