When there was danger, Yu Xian was their greatest backer. But when there was no danger, Yu Xian himself was the greatest danger.

The moment everyone teleported into Crescent Bay, the sky went dark. They looked up and saw a gigantic shoe descending toward them.

Zhang Shou's eyes widened as he threw out his arms, as though he intended to hold up the enormous sole all by himself. "Run!"

The others reacted quickly. Gong Qian clenched her fist, ready to attack, while Bluebird had already transformed into her bird form, prepared to fight with everything she had. Little Nora and Little Huang Quan hid behind Yu Xian's coat, while Xiong Da, who had been asleep the whole time and still had no idea what was happening, was jolted awake by Zhang Shou's shout and stared around in confusion. This time, Nora finally didn't freeze up. She immediately condensed several pentagram-shaped fireballs, clearly having no intention of abandoning Zhang Shou.

But the foot that was about to come down abruptly stopped and pulled back, revealing a rather simple-looking giant. The giant had an honest, good-natured face, with a ridiculous festive hat perched atop his bald head. Scratching the back of his head, he muttered to himself, "Strange. How did people suddenly grow out of the ground?"

Then he looked at Yu Xian's group and smiled apologetically. "Sorry. I didn't know people could grow out of the ground. I hope I didn't scare you."

Zhang Shou immediately turned to Yu Xian. "Salted Fish, what's he saying?"

Yu Xian replied, "That's the common tongue of the myriad worlds. I forgot you guys don't understand it yet. Give me a moment."

He condensed several drops of blood in his palm, then controlled them to merge into everyone's foreheads. The previously incomprehensible noise around them instantly became meaningful, and everyone could now understand the common tongue.

Once Gong Qian understood what the giant had said, she immediately reassured him while shooting Yu Xian a glare. "Big guy, it's fine. This had nothing to do with you. The real problem is someone who acts on whatever idea pops into his head."

Zhang Shou nodded as well. "She's right. This really wasn't your fault."

He even nudged Yu Xian with his elbow, signaling for him to hurry up and say something.

Yu Xian obediently apologized. "Sorry. I shouldn't have used my teleportation ability so recklessly. I should've checked the destination first."

He really hadn't given it much thought. During this period, he had already learned a great deal about Crescent Bay through the Star Ring. He knew very well that with his current strength, as long as he didn't court trouble, he was unlikely to encounter any real danger.

The giant let out an embarrassed, simple-minded grin. "It's fine. As long as everyone's okay."

Noticing that his companions had already gone some distance ahead, he hurriedly said goodbye to everyone and strode forward.

Everyone watched the giant leave and only then noticed the enormous bag strapped to his back. Farther ahead were several more giants just like him.

Zhang Shou got curious. "Salted Fish, is that big guy strong?"

Yu Xian replied, "By the Blue Planet's standards, he's probably around peak Tiger rank."

"That's pretty strong," Zhang Shou said.

Yu Xian gave him a speechless look. "What if I told you that no one on this entire street is below Tiger rank?"

Zhang Shou immediately shot back. "I'm below Tiger rank, aren't I? You don't see me bragging about it. "

Bluebird also chimed in while suppressing a laugh. "I'm below Tiger rank too. Lord Fish God, I'm terribly sorry for embarrassing you."

The kindhearted Nora stepped in to rescue Yu Xian from the teasing. "All right, enough messing around. Yu Xian, where are we going next?"

Gong Qian joined in as well. "Yeah. You suddenly brought us to Crescent Bay, and these clothes are already strange enough. Why are we wearing masks too? Don't tell me you're famous in Crescent Bay as well?"

Yu Xian replied, "That actually has something to do with it."

Leading everyone along, he explained what had happened and told them about the peeping tom. He said with a serious expression, "All of you appeared in the film, so to prevent anyone from recognizing us, we have to wear masks."

Zhang Shou indignantly shouted, "How can there be someone that disgusting? This won't do. We have to drag that bastard out and make him cough up every cent he earned from this. He should even compensate us for emotional distress!"

Gong Qian nodded. "Exactly. We absolutely can't let him off. But speaking of money, Salted Fish, do you have any of Crescent Bay's currency? Can currency from the Blue Planet be used here?"

"No. Last time, we only stayed in Crescent Bay for a short while before returning to the Blue Planet." Yu Xian pointed toward the distant sky and grinned. "So, our first objective is... making money!"

The others followed the direction of his finger and looked toward the sky, question marks practically appearing over their heads. What was that supposed to mean? Were they waiting for money to fall from the sky?

Ten minutes passed. Nora and the others stared at Yu Xian, speechless. They were sitting on the lawn of a public garden, with a pile of Gray Star Coins before Yu Xian.

Yu Xian held a Gray Star Coin and poured energy into it. Once the coin was fully charged, its gray surface turned silver, while the star-shaped pattern in the center turned gold.

There were plenty of ways to make money, especially in a semi-chaotic place like Crescent Bay. The simplest method, for example, was to challenge a Star Tower's owner. As long as one killed the Tower Master, one would gain ownership of the entire Star Tower. Then the tax revenue of the tower alone would be more than one could ever spend. On top of the taxes, the Floor Master of each Star Floor also had to pay rent to the Tower Master, which was likewise an astronomical sum.

If a person was strong, they could live extremely well in Crescent Bay. The stronger they were, the better their life would be.

Of course, after issuing a challenge, the challenger first had to survive until the day of the challenge, and then they still had to defeat the reigning Tower Master in battle. Even if they won, they would have to watch out for the former Tower Master's allies joining forces to scheme against them.

Moreover, the Tower Masters were all extremely low-key. There was no footage of them fighting anywhere on the network, so rashly battling them would be far too dangerous.

And this was especially troublesome for Yu Xian. Many of his abilities had already been exposed in the peeping tom's film. In terms of intelligence alone, Yu Xian had been stripped so bare he didn't even have his underwear left. There was no way he would foolishly challenge a Tower Master.

As for the many other ways of making money, they either took too much time or simply weren't to his liking. Acting as a human battery was both quick and convenient for him. He had more energy than he could ever use anyway. As long as it wasn't positive thoughts or some special form of energy that could activate Little Nora's bloodline abilities, he could produce practically as much of the rest as he wanted.

Star-rank powerhouses made money fast. Even when doing the most menial work as a lowly workhorse, they still earned far more than ordinary workers could. In just half an hour, Yu Xian had earned more than ten thousand Star Coins. That was at least as much as an ordinary battery worker could earn in half a year.

Now that he had money, the next step was naturally to spend it. Yu Xian led everyone straight toward a distant tower whose floors floated independently. It had practically everything one could ever want: shopping districts, cultivation zones, technique modifications, dual cultivation opportunities. It was the largest shopping mall on Star Floor 26 of Star Tower 79, the Heracles' Treasure Trove.

To Feilichi and his team, Heracles' Treasure Trove was a place where money could make virtually any wish come true. It was even more tempting than a Forbidden Fruit. Unfortunately, their biggest problem had always been their lack of money.

However, Yu Xian did have money. He intended to see for himself just how incredible Heracles' Treasure Trove really was.
