Nine Revolutions Star Transformation
Chapter 1160 1186: Young Master Yanluo
At this moment Lin Feng was instant teleporting rapidly, and before long he arrived at the entrance to the Netherworld. With his current strength, breaking open this Netherworld entrance was naturally extremely easy; he no longer needed the Four Holy Beasts' help. Even if he wanted their help now, they wouldn't be able to give it.
Lin Ruoxi was not in the Lower Realm right now, and the other two should also be in seclusion. Besides, in terms of timing, it was too late to call them.
Lin Feng glanced at the Barrier entrance and the Chaotic Immortal Power in his body began to surge wildly. Although his strength was currently suppressed to the realm of an Ordinary Immortal, the Attack Power he could unleash was at least on the level of a Daluo Golden Immortal. Breaking it open was naturally no problem.
He directly unleashed a single strike of the Heart Sword, and the Barrier entrance appeared. Lin Feng stepped straight inside; as a massive pulling force rose up, he appeared high above the Netherworld.
The sky of the Netherworld was still that dark red. There wasn't a single green plant here. Looking at this place that was both familiar and yet strangely distant, Lin Feng couldn't help feeling something stir in his heart; after all, he had stayed here for almost three years.
Past events played out vividly before his eyes, as if they had just happened yesterday. Thinking of his three women, it was entirely possible that each already had a child of their own. By now, those children should have grown up, just like Chu Yetian and the others.
After flying through the air for a while, he discovered a city of decent size. Having just arrived in the Netherworld, he was still quite unfamiliar with the environment here, and he had no idea who he ought to look for first. He could only gather information about the current state of affairs and local geography before deciding his next move.
Lin Feng flew down quietly a short distance outside the city gate. There were still many people coming and going along the official road, and he mingled with some of the pedestrians as they walked up to the gate.
He looked up at the city wall and saw the characters "Moon Spring City" written on it. He still had some Nether Stone in his Storage Ring, so he paid the City Entry Fee without fuss and entered the city. Moon Spring City was very lively inside; all kinds of peddlers were everywhere, and the cries of hawkers rose and fell endlessly in his ears.
Lin Feng observed the people and found that the Nether Race made up the majority. There were quite a few members of several other major races, but not nearly as many as the Nether Race. That meant this was Nether Race territory—Kong Feifei's turf. As long as he asked clearly about the exact location, he could head for the Royal City. He hadn't expected the first woman he'd seek out to be her.
Kong Feifei was the first woman he had met in the Netherworld; perhaps this was something destined long ago in the dark. Glancing at the restaurants along the street, Lin Feng noticed a fairly large one not far away and walked over.
When he reached the restaurant entrance, the waiter greeted Lin Feng enthusiastically and ushered him inside. Lin Feng chose a seat by the window and sat down, then instructed the waiter to bring a few of the restaurant's signature dishes and some wine.
The restaurant was quite full at the moment. People from several major races were present, many chatting idly about this and that. The atmosphere felt very lively, but what they discussed had no value whatsoever to Lin Feng. He simply filled his cup and drank slowly by himself.
After about half a stick of incense, a noisy commotion suddenly rose outside the restaurant. Immediately afterward, two youths dressed in extremely luxurious clothing walked in and went straight to the counter.
One of them said to the restaurant's Shopkeeper, "You've got half a stick of incense to clear everyone out of this place. Our young master is taking over your restaurant today. Don't worry, you'll get no shortage of Nether Stone."
"If, when my young master arrives, he still sees people in here, I believe you know very well what kind of consequences that will bring. Your restaurant might as well disappear from Moon Spring City altogether."
The voice was loud, and all the diners heard it clearly. The Shopkeeper's face instantly showed a difficult expression, sweat pouring from his brow nonstop, as if he were utterly terrified of the "young master" these two spoke of.
Lin Feng glanced at the two youths who had just entered. They looked to be in their early twenties, but in the Netherworld you couldn't judge age by appearance; for all he knew, they might already be several hundred years old.
But he had nothing but loathing for this kind of rich wastrel, and he was also intrigued by the so‑called young master they mentioned. A youth so outrageously arrogant in the Netherworld was not something you saw every day—especially among the Nether Race. Could it be that Kong Feifei simply wasn't managing these cities at all?
Since he was here, he had to help her clean house. He had already decided to "teach" these two and their master a lesson. If necessary, he would just cut them down on the spot.
Meanwhile, the Shopkeeper was inwardly depressed to the extreme. The "young master" those two spoke of was none other than the City Lord's son of Moon Spring City.
The City Lord of Moon Spring City herself also held a very special status. Back in the day she had been the Netherworld King's Bright Pearl. After she took over Moon Spring City, she scarcely concerned herself with its internal affairs, generally leaving them to the Grand Elder and Second Elder of the City Lord's Mansion.
As for herself, she remained in closed‑door cultivation, and had no time to bother with her precious son. That naturally led to the boy developing an arrogant and lawless personality, bullying the market and preying on the common folk. Everyone was angry but dared not speak.
They had even given him a special nickname: Young Master Yanluo. Though this name didn't sound pleasant, he loved it, thinking it made him look important. Ordinary people would back away three paces the moment they saw him.
The restaurant's Shopkeeper now walked to the middle of the hall and said, "Honored guests, I truly must apologize to you all. We won't be charging for today's food and drink. I hope everyone can understand my difficulties. Young Master Yanluo is not someone I can afford to offend. I beg you to understand my predicament and leave the restaurant as quickly as possible."
Many diners' faces showed anger, but they didn't dare lash out carelessly. These two were Young Master Yanluo's favorites; provoking them could have extremely serious consequences. To invite a death sentence over one meal was not worth it. Besides, the bill was being waived, so they could only tacitly accept.
Thus, the customers filed out one after another. As for Young Master Yanluo, all they could do was seethe in hatred and hope that some powerful cultivator would one day simply kill him.
Seeing everyone leave the restaurant, the two youths wore very pleased expressions. Lin Feng, however, pretended not to notice, still drinking his wine slowly, as if he hadn't even looked at them.
The Shopkeeper came over to Lin Feng and said, "Honored guest, please leave quickly. Young Master Yanluo is not someone you can afford to offend. All of Moon Spring City fears him terribly. If you don't go now, your life may be in danger."
Lin Feng looked up at the Shopkeeper and said, "Is this Young Master Yanluo really that formidable? Or is it that you're afraid of the forces behind him?"
"Young Master Yanluo always has two Third Layer Venerable Martial Realm experts by his side to protect him. Anyone who displeases him gets taught a lesson, sometimes killed outright. So I urge you to leave as soon as possible," the Shopkeeper said.
Lin Feng took another sip of wine and asked, "How many Nether Stone is this restaurant worth? This young master will buy it. Today I want to see just how rampant this Young Master Yanluo really is."
At these words, the Shopkeeper was instantly stunned, staring at Lin Feng in horror. "You mustn't! You mustn't! Honored guest, please just leave at once!"
Right then, the two youths also walked over to Lin Feng. One of them laughed and said, "Leave? Too late. Today we'll show you who in Moon Spring City is someone you absolutely can't afford to provoke!"
With that, he brought his palm down and smashed the table in front of Lin Feng to pieces… (to be continued at dawn)
