Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 1270: Gogoat vs. Charizard, the Unbeatable Goat! Leon's Shock! (Part 2)

The next second, a powerful impact caused a violent explosion across the battle arena.

Rolling heat waves swept out in all directions, almost flipping Alcremie over. It let out a startled cry, and Garganacl quickly shielded it behind its back.

Sonia shielded her face with her elbow from the heat wave, nervously looking towards the battlefield. Who would be the victor?

Moments later, as the smoke slowly dissipated, standing amidst it was Gogoat, still upright.

Its body was covered in scars, and flames had scorched its Grass Pelt, making Gogoat look quite disheveled.

Suddenly, green light rapidly surged around, and those scars began to heal at a visible speed thanks to the Grassy Terrain.

“Awuh?!” Charizard looked on in disbelief.

“Use that move,” Naoki’s voice suddenly rang out.

In response, Charizard watched as Gogoat slightly bent down, green light flickered in its mouth, and in the blink of an eye, it manifested a giant Grass Sacred Sword.

The next second, Gogoat dashed like lightning, appearing behind Charizard without looking back.

Charizard didn’t understand what had happened, it just felt a sharp pain.

In disbelief, it looked down at its belly, only to find a clear wound had appeared.

Charizard’s vision went white, and it fell to the ground, losing its ability to battle.

Witnessing this, Leon’s pupils contracted, his eyes full of shock.

Not because Charizard lost, but because he was astonished at Gogoat’s terrifying healing ability.

Such exaggerated healing power!

Gogoat’s Grassy Terrain is different from a few years ago!

How could he possibly defeat this Gogoat?

Several strategies flashed quickly through Leon’s mind.

To defeat Gogoat, he must overcome its Grassy Terrain, and moves that can clear the terrain…

Defog, Max Airstream, Ice Spinner, Steel Roller…

But Charizard couldn’t use these moves, meaning even with its full power strike, it couldn’t completely defeat Naoki’s Gogoat.

Given enough time, its stamina would return to peak condition.

Could anyone really defeat such a Pokemon?

If not defeated quickly, its injuries would heal, causing despair.

What’s more frightening is that there isn’t just one such Gogoat…

Leon instinctively looked at the other two Gogoats.

Naoki had somehow bred Gogoat to this level; his prowess likely exceeds Champion Level, achieving Pokemon Mastery?

Meanwhile, Lei Gong also watched the seemingly ordinary Gogoat with a solemn expression.

It hadn’t expected such power within its body.

Could it be a match for it? Lei Gong’s mind pondered.

“We lost.” After a brief daze, Leon accepted it: “Of course, you’re still Naoki.”

How could a mysterious person able to command so many Legendary Pokemon lose to him again?

Even though Naoki said Calyrex left the pasture, traveling the world.

Still, Leon had heard stories of Calyrex meeting Naoki.

He knew deep down, Calyrex, saved by Naoki, would never leave him, nor choose another Trainer to travel alongside.

If anyone, it would only be Naoki.

Thus, Leon knew Naoki was the mysterious man who saved the Hoenn Region and stopped the Creator God Arceus.

He only realized this later.

However, since Naoki didn’t want to reveal, Leon buried it inside.

With the battle over, Naoki looked at Leon, about to speak, when Lono rubbed her sleepy eyes and stepped out from the breeding tree house.

“Huh?” Seeing Leon and Sonia, Lono quickly became alert: “We have guests!”

“Hello, Miss Lono,” Sonia smiled at Lono in greeting.

Lono remembered her; she was a researcher from the Galar Region who had attended her and Naoki’s wedding with Leon.

“It’s been a while, Sonia!” Lono showed a cheerful smile.

The two men watched this scene, temporarily diverting attention from the Pokemon battle.

Lono and Sonia chatted about the baby over there.

Naoki stood in place, saying to Leon, “The Galar Region should be developing Dynamax battles vigorously now?”

Leon hesitated slightly, then nodded: “That’s right.”

“That’s good, it’ll help the Galar Region grow,” Naoki chatted casually.

Hearing this, Leon hesitated.

According to his research, the energy enabling Pokemon to Dynamax was intricately linked to Eternatus.

Ancient Galar accounts suggested when the Darkest Day phenomenon occurred, Pokemon grew massive and rampaged crazily through towns.

“It just seems odd, Dynamax can only occur in the Galar Region; once outside, it’s impossible,” Naoki commented.

Leon suddenly felt a flash of insight, as though something connected in a flash!
