Tang Shaoyang listened to the update. There was not much to tell him because the Heaven Founder hadn’t really made any movement yet. However, there was something weird about Alliance Leader Zhong.

The old man had been asking to meet Tang Shaoyang for the last three days. He said there was something to discuss about the Heaven Founder.

That was right, three days had passed since he entered his Soul Palace. He was surprised by how much time had passed because it didn’t feel like three days at all. He thought it had been at most a day, yet it had been three days.

Only then did he hear what was weird about Alliance Leader Zhong. The Sword God kept asking to meet him, insisting on talking directly to him, even when Bing Ruohan and Bing Lianxin of the Ice Pavilion told him they would convey the message.

However, Zhong Tian Yun didn’t budge, insisting on talking to Tang Shaoyang directly. That was weird for sure. It was understandable if they didn’t believe in Zara and Avyn, but it was Bing Ruohan, the former Ice Palace Mistress. He should trust her, yet he didn’t budge.

Even when they informed Alliance Leader that Tang Shaoyang was in a closed-door training and no one knew when he would come out, Zhong Tian Yun insisted on meeting Tang Shaoyang face to face. That was indeed a weird behavior.

“We have also noticed the sudden big influx of cultivators entering the Radiant Blossom City, with the majority of them with questionable cultivation.”

Tang Shaoyang was not surprised if there was a sudden big influx of cultivators. The Murim Alliance might have summoned more of their forces to help them fight the Heaven Founder, who suddenly worked together with the Demonic Realm.

What caught his attention was the way Zara described them, a questionable cultivation, “What do you mean by questionable cultivation?”

“Their internal energy is ominous and dreadful. That’s a sign that they might be the Demonic Cultivator, yet the Murim Alliance or the three families in the city don’t do anything about them. Tang Shaoyang understood what Zara tried to imply. Zhong Tian Yun might work together with the Heaven Founder to kill him instead. The suspicion was there, but it was too sloppy if that was the case. Letting the Demonic Cultivator into the city makes it too obvious for him to catch it.

He didn’t immediately come to a conclusion, contacting his shadow spirit. He needed to know the situation in the Heaven Founder, too.

The Leader of the Heaven Founder, Mo Tianshen, and Alderman Fiodor had arrived in Xiyun. Guardian Quan had met them along with twelve Demonic Faction’s leaders who joined their ranks.

That was when he found out that their target was never Zhong Tian Yun. The shadow spirit informed him what the meeting was about, and it was not to kill Zhong Tian Yun. The reason behind their cooperation with the Demonic Faction had nothing to do with the Murim Alliance.

Tang Shaoyang smiled, muttering in a low voice, “Interesting…”

They had figured out that someone from the Murim Alliance was leaking information about him to the four empires. However, they had not figured out who the traitor was. He didn’t put Alliance Leader Zhong in the suspect list, but now he might consider Zhong Tian Yun as the one who leaked his information, not just to the four empires, but also to the Heaven Founder.

If that was the case, it explained why Alderman Fiodor and Mo Tianshen didn’t attack the Murim Alliance after his farce. That explained why they didn’t fall for the trap.

The suspect pool became bigger, and he might want to be careful with the Kunlun and the Shaolin. However, the chance of Shaolin working together with the Heaven Founder was small. The Shaolin would not work together with the Demonic Faction.

Kunlun was at the top of his suspect list, along with two of Zhong Tian Yun’s friends. Another, he suspected, was Alliance Leader’s right hand, Old Zhou. With so little information, it would be hard to determine the leaker.

It was not that hard to find out who the traitor was, but that was not his priority. His priority was still Alderman Fiodor, which became trickier with the leak.

With the leak, Alderman Fiodor seemed to figure out his identity. That was the reason why Mo Tianshen and Alderman Fiodor sought the Demonic Faction. It was to deal with him. The former Executive Administrator recognized him from the information leak.

Alderman also knew he was being hunted by the Administrator and tried to gather as many people as he could to fight back. At this point, Alderman might use the faction inside the Murim Alliance that switched sides a long time ago.

The situation turned against him, where he made everyone his enemy, including Zhong Tian Yun. The chance Zhong Tian Yun turned against him was also high. The Tang Clan’s fall might be the trigger for that.

“Can you leave us?”

Tang Shaoyang asked Bing Ruohan and Bing Lianxin to leave for now. Of course, the two women didn’t like it. They were now part of the Thousand Vows Pavilion. While their status was not official yet, they were a Grandmaster too. They felt like they had the right to know what happened and wanted to be included in the discussion.

“We are on the same side now. We will not hesitate even if we have to fight the Murim Alliance, and the quickest way to turn the Thousand Vows Pavilion into our home is a fight!”

Bing Lianxin was the one who spoke up her mind. Bing Ruohan became even more careful after what happened in the Murim Alliance.

They might be branded as traitors by the Murim Alliance’s people right now. Those people would not have the same hesitation.

That was why Tang Shaoyang didn’t want to include the former Ice Palace in his fight if he had to fight the Murim Alliance, not that he needed their help anyway. He didn’t want their meaningless death, even though he didn’t really have a deep attachment to them yet. They were still his people, and he hated meaningless death.
