“Are you not worried about your friends? Do you truly believe it is okay to leave them behind, child?” the giant lizard-man asked with a sneer beneath his hoodie.
“They’re strong,” Frank replied. “I am sure they will be okay. I have been with them for years. If there is one thing I have learned, it is to trust my friends.”
“Hoh…”
His foe quickly removed his robes and tossed them aside, revealing his true form. His aura surged with immense crimson and green energy, shattering the ground beneath him as his bulging muscles gleamed beneath his shining green scales.
“You’re…?! You’re not even human!” Frank exclaimed. “What are you exactly?! And… are you working for the Chaos Gate?”
“Hahaha!” The lizard-man laughed loudly, his full appearance now revealed. He possessed a muscular and towering frame, over four meters tall, incredibly powerful-looking, and covered from head to toe in armor-like dark green scales. A long, thick tail swayed behind him, and long, sharp black claws extended from his hands. His intimidating head resembled that of a tyrannosaurus rex, adorned with black horns. “You have committed a grave mistake by facing me alone, mammal.”
“…!”
Frank’s eyes widened as he realized what he was truly fighting, something Harumi had been unable to tell him earlier.
“You’re…! A Spirit…! A Spirit summoned for this Holy War! A heroic, mythical, or legendary spirit?!” Frank asked in disbelief.
“Huhu…” The spirit’s unique composition gave away his identity under Frank’s cosmic eyes, yet the being remained completely unaffected. “That is correct! I am a Spirit! A Heroic—nay, Legendary—nay! I am… it could be said that I am actually Historical! Yes! But from a much more ancient history, one so ancient that you humans did not even exist yet.”
“What?!” Frank was confused and gripped his spear tightly. “Well, I could not care less either way…! I do not fear your kind. Not when I am not holding back, and when there is nobody I have to protect.”
“Hahahaha!” The heroic spirit laughed, spreading his arms wide. “Good! Well said, mammal! That is the spirit that has helped your kind survive beyond my brethren for so long… but not anymore. For I, the embodiment of their cries, the embodiment of their strength, and the embodiment of their relentless survival spirit, am here.”
“…”
“For I…”
His aura surged violently, rapidly twisting into countless spirits that resembled all sorts of ancient dinosaurs.
“I am the Jurassic itself!”

RUMBLE!
Before Frank could react, a giant horde of hundreds of dinosaurs burst from the lizard-man’s body and charged straight at him, crashing violently against his form.
“Nnnggh?!”
Claws, fangs, horns, and hard scales struck his entire body. Their immense size and weight tried to crush him like an ant.
Their bodies merged into a chimeric mass, completely encasing Frank in an endless surge of attacks!

However, Frank was not weak either. After reinforcing his body to its limits, he had gained an immense, near-cosmic level of endurance.

He thrust his angelic spear forward. A gigantic thrusting attack was unleashed, and a beam of blinding celestial light struck the lizard-man even as he continued summoning more dinosaurs.

A normal man was daring to fight a Heroic Spirit, a being far beyond what the strongest humans could ever achieve.

“Huhuh… Hahahahaha!”
His laughter echoed through the dissipating smoke, revealing his perfectly muscular, chiseled body completely unscathed.
He spread his arms once more and smiled warmly at Frank.
“Not bad! You are indeed a different breed, are you not, mammal?”
“You… Usually Heroic Spirits are beings born from historical figures or myths, but just who are you exactly?!” Frank demanded. “There is no way… It has to be related to humanity’s history, doesn’t it?”
“Fossils, the discovery of dinosaurs, the countless researchers who uncovered our existence and spread it across the world. Since then, dinosaurs have become part of humanity. Thus, I am the combination of all those who sought to discover every last one of them. I am the amalgamation of all the uncovered fossils, and I am also the amalgamation of their cries and their ever-lasting legacy, which even now, hundreds of millions of years later… still remains,” he spoke with a sorrowful tone. “I am Jurassic Rex, King of Dinosaurs.”

To Frank’s shock, a Heroic Spirit unlike anything else had been summoned, one that did not embody humanity itself, but rather a discovery made by humanity and all the researchers who had dedicated their entire lives to it.
The “history” of dinosaurs themselves, given form… into their ultimate champion.

The champion charged forward. His fists rushed toward Frank as the young man desperately tried to defend himself.

Frank vomited blood as Jurassic Rex landed a devastating punch straight into his gut, sending him flying through the museum. He crashed through walls, rooms, and everything in his path.

His body was smashed into the ground, shattering the distorted labyrinth and leaving a gigantic crater behind.
“Cough, cough…”
Frank coughed as he glared at the dinosaur slowly walking toward him.
Yet Frank did not falter. He stood up once more and smiled.
“Heh…”
“Oh? You smile even though you are nothing before the wrath of us dinosaurs?” the giant asked. “It appears you have gone mad, mammal.”
“There is something you have forgotten about humanity, lizard…” Frank stood tall, his aura surging as starlight healed his wounds.
“And what is that?” Jurassic Rex asked with clear skepticism.
“Humanity’s Unyielding Spirit!”
RUMBLE!
Frank shattered the ground beneath him and flew at light speed toward the dinosaur, thrusting his spear forward.
CRASH!
He did the same again after flying away and rushing back once more.
CRASH!
Constantly, Frank assaulted Jurassic Rex with attacks from every angle.
CRASH!
Although his magic and fists could not pierce those scales, the tip of his spear could!

And so, slowly…

“Tsk! Damn human!”
Jurassic Rex roared, bleeding from countless wounds but recovering quickly. He swung his claws at Frank, finally catching him and smashing him into the ground.
“Flashy but ultimately ineffective!”
“You think so?!”
Frank kicked him in the face, followed by another powerful thrust aimed at his chest, straight for the heart.
However, the dinosaur punched Frank’s face in return, breaking his jaw and sending teeth flying.
Then he stomped on his stomach, punctured his ribs, and shattered his legs and arms!
“Don’t…! underestimate me!”
Frank groaned in pain, yet he used his Cosmic Aura to heal all his wounds and charged back in. His spear’s angelic power surged and overflowed as he unleashed hundreds of attacks at once against the dinosaur.
“Hah! You fool! Do you truly believe a human can defeat an Heroic Spirit on their own?!”
The giant lizard-man, however, sneered as his aura flared. The spirits of hundreds of dinosaurs roared together, unleashing an incredibly powerful shockwave that pushed back Frank’s attacks and sent him hurtling across the museum once again, crashing through everything in his path.
