Soon, the Demon Annihilation Sword appeared before them with an excited look on her face.
“Foul demons, I will annihilate all of you!”
The Demon Annihilation Sword suddenly appeared in her grasp. Then, without hesitation or warning, she attacked, lunging at Supreme Ruler Grant, who happened to be the closest to her. “This crazy little—!”
Supreme Ruler Grant raised his arm that was coated in Eternal Essence to block her strike.
However, to his absolute surprise, the Demon Annihilation Sword tore right through it and severed his arm.

Seeing this, Supreme Ruler Grant subconsciously distanced himself from her with a bewildered expression on his face.
It wasn’t as though she was using Eternal Essence, so how had she cut through it? Studying his severed arm more closely, he realized the Eternal Essence remained intact, and it was only the limb that had been cleaved away, as if her attack had passed straight through his Eternal Essence.
When Supreme Ruler Grant ran away, the Demon Annihilation Sword immediately turned her attention to Supreme Ruler Dena, who was now the closest to her.
“Die, demon!”

“Why?” she suddenly asked.
“I thought you wanted to kill all demons? I am only following your will, Master.”
Yuan rubbed his eyes and sighed, “That was ages ago when I was still Tian Chenyu. I don’t have such ambitions nowadays.”
“Then what is my purpose? If I cannot kill demons, then I am worthless,” she said in a cold voice.
“I never said we won’t be killing a demon ever again,” Yuan shook his head and clarified, “I am just saying that we no longer kill every demon in sight, especially now that we know there are two different kinds of demons, and it was the Forsaken that wreaked havoc in the Nine Heavens.”
“What about those two?” The Demon Annihilation Sword pointed at the Supreme Rulers behind him.
“They look delicious,” she added.
“The one behind me is not a target. She’s a friend,” Yuan said.
“As for that one…” Yuan’s gaze shifted to Supreme Ruler Grant, their eyes locking.
After a brief silence, he smiled calmly. “You know what? You can go ahead and kill him.”
“This son of a bi—!”
“Yay!”
Supreme Ruler Grant couldn’t even finish cursing at Yuan before the Demon Annihilation Sword lunged at him.
‘Fuck! Why the hell is my arm regenerating so slowly?!’ he cried inwardly.
After the Demon Annihilation Sword severed his left hand earlier, it still hadn’t fully regenerated. Even when he focused on healing it, the process didn’t improve and continued to recover at a snail’s pace.
“Die, demon, die!”
The Demon Annihilation Sword attacked like a madman while Supreme Ruler Grant focused on avoiding her attacks, not daring to clash with her for obvious reasons.
After some time, the Demon Annihilation Sword stopped chasing after him and mumbled, “Arise.”

Seeing this, Supreme Ruler Grant immediately gave up on trying to control them and resorted to killing them instead.
“Get out of my way, you damn ants!”
Just by releasing his aura, he instantly vaporized almost all of the demons that surrounded him. After all, these demons retained their original strength at the time they were devoured and not strengthened in any way.
However, not even a second later, the Demon Annihilation Sword summoned even more demons to attack him.
