Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3498: Make a Hole

Chapter 3498: Make a Hole
There was no time to argue among themselves. The Wine God asked one last time if Alex was absolutely sure they could get in, and he nodded. That was all they needed in the end.
“The fate of all 13 of those individuals now lay in your hands,” the Beast God told him.
The short journey ahead took them a bit longer, during which they explained to Alex who would have to be inside there and what their abilities would be.
For the most part, there wasn’t anyone in particular he had to know about, but it was good to learn about those he was going to have to save.
’6 beasts and 7 humans,’ Alex noted the composition of the ship’s occupants.
“I can see it now,” Wineshard said from the side. “It’s way faster than I expected it to be.”
Everyone could see the blue ship in the distance, with the nearly invisible barrier around it that covered it entirely.
“My goodness! Just how fast is that thing going?” one of the Reverends spoke in surprise. The ship there was faster than any they had ever seen before.
“Everyone, get ready!” the Beast God shouted. “Focus only on stopping the spatial barrier around the ship. Leave the actual barrier be. Dawnblade can teleport inside so long as only the barrier stands in his way.”
“It’s too fast!” someone said. “It’s going to be difficult with the distance.”
Intent became weaker the farther it was from the person, so the people on the ship started worrying.
The Beast God looked toward Alex, seeing his more or less relaxed look. While she had gotten used to it, she was still affected by the feeling of reverence that came upon her whenever she looked at him.
That single thing was what helped her trust him. Since he was a Half-God, perhaps he had a way that she didn’t see.
“Maybe we should have brought senior along,” the Wine God said. “We could have helped her teleport back there to make it in time.”
“She can’t do it,” the Beast God said. “If she forces herself here, she might be too weakened to do anything else later. She isn’t fully healed after all.”
The Wine God remained silent, understanding that she may have been right here. He nodded slowly and focused all of his attention at the moment.
The ship came hurtling toward them and at any moment, it would pass them.
“Everyone, be ready,” the Wine God shouted to them all. “We need to do it in unison or we will fail. So, in 3… 2… 1. NOW!”
Instantly, everyone forced everything they had— their talismans, their artifacts, even their pills— to aid them in amplifying their Intent by any measure possible to help suppress the spatial disturbance around the ship.
Watching everyone work to open a hole in the barrier, Alex was reminded of his talk with Shang Maogun of the Blue Silk Sect when he had first joined it. After joining the sect, he had been given permission to get any two techniques, and he had been considering getting something that could help him escape.
The woman had told him at that point that the greatest thing he could ever train in or use to help him escape such situations was none other than his Intent.
That was the first time he had understood the importance of one’s Intent, and it was what had led him to start training it so much too.
And today, he was getting to see it all be put to use as over a dozen high-ranking Divinities were using it to do just what he had asked about. They were opening a door to a place where even a Celestial would struggle to go.
A hint of a smile formed on Alex’s face as he took a deep breath. He had recovered enough, so he had to help here too. He couldn’t let them fail after claiming that it would all be fine.
With a thought, Alex employed his Time Dao, immediately affecting the people in the area around him.
The massive ship that was speeding past them suddenly appeared to move at a regular speed.
“What?” someone shouted in surprise.
“It’s slowing down. How?”
The others nearly stopped out of pure surprise as well.
“Don’t stop!” Alex shouted. “This is the moment. Make the opening!”
The Divinities didn’t take even a moment to refocus on the task, and together, they poured out their Intent on the ship.
Alex had his Demon Eyes wide open. Outside of the colorful array of energy that was the regular barrier of the ship, he could see the faint silver light that swirled around it.
As the people forced their Intent upon it, it began rippling away, like a strong wind moving the surface of water. Blow fast enough and one could make a divot on the surface of the water too.
Together, the Divinities made the hole.
And Alex sneaked in.
Without Alex’s presence, the ship returned to its regular speed for the Divinities as it flew past them at a speed they could have never worked with. They watched it move toward the Sacred Dominion realm so quickly that they could hardly understand what had just transpired.
“Didn’t it slow down earlier? Why did it speed up suddenly?” the prince asked with a strange look on his face.
“It was too timely to be a coincidence. Someone outside must’ve done something,” Flamestrider said, slowly scanning the group. Several people had various artifacts out to aid them, but none of it seemed relevant to the situation.
“I… I sensed something earlier,” Xue Yu’er, who had been staying quiet until now, finally spoke up. “I think it was that young man.”
“Young Dawnblade? What about him?” the Wine God asked.
“I might be wrong, but… I believe I sensed a bit of Time aura,” she said. “He may have manipulated time to make it easier for all of us.”
