Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3507: The Help

Chapter 3507: The Help
“Young brother, we’ll need to bother you with a task,” the man’s message said.
“What is it you need, senior?”
It had been nearly two days since the explosion that tore apart the Void, forming cracks into the real world. Those cracks, which they now called pseudo-Voidgates, hadn’t closed yet, and people were worried about the danger they might pose.
After a while, Alex sent him a message.
* * * * *
A group of guards were surprised to see him walking out of Alex’s room when Alex alone should’ve been there, so they quickly gathered around Pearl, questioning him.
“The prince?”
“Call his Highness.”
“You were sent by young Dawnblade?” the man asked. “Who are you exactly?”
“Okay…” the man said with a strange look on his face. “Why were you sent? We needed someone to close the cracks formed from the Void.”
“You have an understanding of space?” the prince asked.
Pearl stopped, and the space snapped back into place.
The guards were left slack-jawed. It wasn’t every day that they saw someone manipulate space with such nonchalance.
“As you say, Your Highness.”
“You’re a beast, are you?” the prince asked.
“What species?” the man asked.
The prince’s face froze in shock. “A… a White Tiger?”
Pearl said nothing, continuing along. They arrived at Raingear City a few minutes later, walking out into the open where they could look up at the sky.
It wasn’t every day that one got to see such things, after all.
Pearl nodded. “As ready as I can be. Let us go now.”
“Everyone!” the prince spoke, catching their attention. “Please clear the area. Get as far away from here as you can.”
The prince turned to Pearl, gesturing above. “Go on ahead. Do what you can.”
While Voidgates were technically regions with both time and space aura, in the real world, they only affected space and not time.
The cracks were like spiderwebs carved into reality, like glass fractured under stress. They looked quite surreal, neither fully open nor fully closed.
Pearl went through each section of the crack one after another, finally completing the task a full minute later.
The prince watched with no small amount of surprise on his face, just like everyone else.
“They can’t,” Pearl said. “Not normally, at least.”
“I learned it along with my brother. He was the main help,” Pearl said, choosing not to reveal the entire truth. “Is this it? I heard there were more than one.”
Pearl’s eyes narrowed a little. “7? That’s quite a lot.”
“Ah, no,” Pearl quickly answered. “Let us go.”
