Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy - Chapter 3547 Primordial

The word ‘Primordial’ had been nagging at Alex’s mind for a while now. The only time he had heard the word was in reference to the 15 beasts, so he could only wonder if they were similar in any way.
“Who knows,” the Sky God answered rather frankly. “I certainly have no idea. The name we received for the energy came from Heaven. And while we have tried asking if there is any connection, we have received no answer. You could try asking for yourself and see if you get a different answer.”
Alex hesitated, shaking his head. “I have so little energy that I wouldn’t want to waste it on questions that I could get answers to from someone else. Still, I thank you for your information, Your Majesty.”
He didn’t immediately move away from his thoughts. He tried thinking of what connections the two things could hold.
“The Primordials were considered gods, weren’t they?’ Alex thought. As beings in the God realm, they would have to be gods. So the Qi they had would be God Qi.
This was certainly not God Qi, as God Qi was far too volatile to exist on its own. It would immediately break down into Celestial Qi. If so, then what if this was an imitation of God Qi?
Half-Gods could then technically be imitations of Primordials.
‘Am I even making any sense right now?’ Alex thought before quickly deciding that he wasn’t.
There were 8 Half-Gods at the moment, and there were 15
Primordials in total. Even the number didn’t make sense. So unless there was something else he didn’t know about, there was no point in going down that rabbit hole.
“Speaking of Primordials, you will hear soon that we’ve discovered a few more,” Bladedance said.
“Oh? Which ones?” the Sky God asked with utmost curiosity.
“The voyage to the moon that took place in the Sacred Lotus Dominion ended in utter failure, but they did happen upon the corpse of the Moon Rabbit.”
“The Moon Rabbit?” Newheaven asked with rapt attention. “Who has it?”
“They couldn’t bring it back due to some issues. The news should flow back to you soon as well. I’m assuming many more gods will start hearing about it too,” Bladedance said.
“They certainly might. Everyone would be curious to learn about a new Primordial too. The Moon Rabbit must have both its corpse and beast core with it, right? We may yet be able to find someone to help revive the Primordial through their Creations.”
“Well… it would be difficult to bring it back, but you can think about it later,” Bladedance said. “Other than that…”
She turned toward Alex, as if seeking his approval to speak any further.
Alex nodded with his eyes, letting her speak as she wished. He trusted his master not to say more than she had to.
“We also stumbled upon the corpse of the Guardian Tiger and the Three-Legged Crow during our journey,” she said.
The Sky God nearly stood up upon hearing those two names. “Two more? And you received the corpses?”
“Just the Three-Legged Crow,” Alex answered. “The Guardian Tiger was protected, so we couldn’t do much in that situation.”
“Where was this?” the Sky God asked.
Alex let Bladedance answer that question. Depending on how much she trusted the Sky God, she could give a direct answer or vaguely move past the topic.
“In Hell,” Bladedance said with no hesitation in her voice. “Although, I would suggest not spreading this news. The corpse is being protected by a spirit of the Guardian Tiger itself. If you try to do something, you will end up getting attacked by it. Furthermore, doing so would disrupt the very nature of Hell and kill the billions and billions of
humans and beasts that live in that world.”
The Sky God didn’t immediately speak. She took in those warnings and slowly accepted them. “Thank you for the information. I will not relay it to others. Not even the gods.”
Bladedance nodded in thanks.
“And what of the Three-Legged Crow?” the Sky God asked.
“I hold its corpse right now,” Alex said. “But I will say right away that I have no intention of letting anyone else receive it.”
The Sky God looked toward Alex with narrowed eyes. “Even though it would be incredibly helpful if we made artifacts out of it? It would help a great deal with the brewing war.”
“I must disappoint you, Your Majesty, but I will not be handing this to anyone, especially if it is to be used for something as bad as the war.”
The Sky God put on a thin-lipped smile. “Then would you at least let us help you with the corpse? I may be able to get someone to help you form it into an artifact.”
Alex narrowed his eyes. “Can you?” he asked.
The Sky God couldn’t help but chuckle. “Do you not believe me?”
“I’m sorry, Your Majesty, but I really don’t,” Alex said. “Maybe I am just the oblivious one here, but there have only ever been two people in the past who managed to turn the corpse of a Primordial into artifacts. The first person who did so turned the body of the Roc into the armor and wing artifacts that you should have in your possession
right now.”
“The second person who did so was the Artifact God, who gained the
inheritance from the original artifact maker and used that knowledge to turn the Nine-Headed Phoenix’s body into a crown. Beyond that, no one has been able to use the body of a Primordial to create an artifact in any meaningful way, have they?”
The Sky God held a serious expression on her face, having never expected Alex to know so much.
“No, they have not,” the Sky God answered, albeit reluctantly.
It was just as Alex thought.
“Then, I assume I am correct in believing that you have no way of
dealing with a Primordial’s corpse, especially to turn it into a desirable
artifact, do you?”
