- Chapter 217: Myth Buster Cultivator Version-04

On the screen, the two began their work. Lian Cheng started using the trigram plate to find a suitable location connected to a dragon vein, while Jobs Ganglie waited at the side for Lian Cheng to finish.
As Lian Cheng walked around, he continued speaking. “The first thing we need to do when creating a secret realm is find a good dragon vein, or leyline. But since the leyline in this place must have been half-destroyed by the explosion, and I am only at the Nascent Soul Realm, it is impossible for me to create a standard secret realm.”
“So what I’m doing here is using artifacts to create a non-standard secret realm, an open one, to demonstrate this experiment to everyone!” Lian Cheng said professionally as he searched for the right spot.
“It’s here, Mr. Jobs.” He pointed down at the ground beneath his feet. “This place, right here.”
Jobs Ganglie walked over and pierced the giant pin into the ground. After that, the two began assembling a contraption that looked like some kind of plate formation on the earth.
The assembly process lasted only about ten minutes, while Wei Chen entertained the audience to keep them from getting bored. He told jokes and casually chatted with the viewers while waiting.
After about ten minutes passed, the plate formation was ready. The two took out three large spirit crystals and placed them onto the plate.
The formation began absorbing the energy from the spirit crystals they had placed upon it. Once everything was done, the two stepped back from the array and walked toward Wei Chen, who had been observing from afar.
Knowing his cue, Wei Chen nodded toward Lian Cheng and allowed the camera to focus on him. Lian Cheng then began to speak.
“While we are waiting for the array to finish absorbing spiritual energy from the crystals, I will explain the basic classifications of secret realms that may be found in the lower realm.”
“First, there is the 10,000-kilometer type, the kind that housed the Heaven’s Spire Sanctuary within it. As I already explained, that type was created by a Pseudo Immortal Realm expert. I will only discuss the types that can actually be found in the lower realm.”
“Below that, there is the 1,000-kilometer type, created by Great Ascension Realm experts, and the 100-kilometer type, created by Void Refining Realm experts. These two are the standard types commonly found in the lower realm.”
“There are also exceptional cases, such as the one we are creating right now through the ingenuity of ancient artificers, just as the two of us have done here today. These are the 10-kilometer and 1-kilometer types of secret realms,”
Lian Cheng said as he gestured toward the transparent secret realm that was beginning to form while the array steadily drained the spiritual qi from the crystals.
Hearing the answer, Wei Chen, as the host, asked the question the audience was likely wondering about.
“Mr. Lian, you said the 10,000-kilometer type was created by a Pseudo Immortal Realm expert. Are there secret realms larger than that?”
Hearing Wei Chen’s question, Lian Cheng nodded with a smile before beginning his explanation.
“That’s a good question. Of course there are larger secret realms. As far as I know, there are 100,000-kilometer types created by Immortal Realm experts, and even 1,000,000-kilometer types created by Golden Immortal Realm experts. At that level, I think they can only be found in the Immortal Realm,” Lian Cheng explained.
With this explanation, the chat box stirred.
Little Wealthy Demon: [1,000,000 kilometers! Just how many resources from the ancient era would a place like that contain? Ahhh! If we discovered something like that.]
Handsome Tall and Rich: [Isn’t that a bit exaggerated? Don’t forget, the largest one we’ve discovered until now is the 10,000-kilometer type. Even the Primordial Secret Realm under the control of the Thousand Treasure Pavilion is only a 10,000-kilometer type, and we’re talking about something from the primordial era.]
Invincible_General: [That’s normal. Just because someone can create a 1,000,000-kilometer type doesn’t mean they always would. If a 10,000-kilometer realm gets the job done, who would want to waste resources creating a larger one?]
Handsome Tall and Rich: [Yeah… I think that makes sense.]
Little Wealthy Demon: [Ahhh~ I really want to find that 1,000,000-kilometer type. Think about all the resources and spiritual herbs we could discover!]
Handsome Tall and Rich: [Ugh… just how much of a money grubber are you? I’m starting to pity my good brother a little bit.]
Sky-Severing Demon: [Yaoyao… are you drooling right now?]
The chat box continued to be lively and bustling as comments flooded nonstop. Some people even used the special donation function to keep their comments displayed on the screen.
The jovial atmosphere continued until it was interrupted by Lian Cheng’s voice.
“Ah! It’s ready!”
As if responding to a signal, the screen focused on the array that was creating a 1-kilometer-type secret realm.
Light shone out from the array, and the transparent 1-kilometer-type secret realm formed before everyone’s eyes. Inside was nothing but a void with an atmosphere identical to the outside world. If not for the light-blue, bubble-like boundary, no one would think this was a secret realm.
A confident smile appeared on Lian Cheng’s face as he slowly walked toward the secret realm and then walked into… no, through the secret realm. He even struck at it, and his attack passed straight through to the other side.
At this moment, all of the artificers watching had already stood up. None of them could remain seated calmly. What had happened before their eyes was like someone discovering how to create a nuclear bomb and then demonstrating it for the entire world to see.
For them, this was supposed to be a lost art!
“Master! Truly a master! We must quickly secure him and make him an elder of our Heaven Array Sect!” one of the artificer sect leaders spoke in awe.
“We must find him and capture him! Make him spill all of his knowledge to us!” In another corner of the continent, a shady artificer sect master spoke with malice.
The reactions of the artificer sects were varied, but all of them shared the same goal. They needed this knowledge. They needed it so their sects could rise!
As for why they were so obsessed with secret realm creation technology, it was because secret realms were considered worlds least affected by the laws of Heaven and Earth. They were places where suitable environments could be engineered, whether for cultivation or for nurturing spiritual herbs.
They could design and engineer specialized realms specifically for those purposes!
Amidst the awe and schemes of all the artificer sects, Lian Cheng did not care in the slightest. He continued with his explanation.
“As you all can see, this is how a secret realm works. It is like a hidden world that exists within our world, yet also apart from it. As long as you do not enter the secret realm through its entrance, you cannot touch it!” Lian Cheng explained.
With that sentence, Wei Chen’s cue arrived. The camera turned toward him as he walked toward the miniature 1-kilometer secret realm.
“So, our next experiment is to test the theory that someone weak and left with no choice could destroy a secret realm and collapse it. Since this realm is a 1-kilometer type, and according to our expert, it is equivalent to a secret realm created by a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator, is there anyone below the Nascent Soul Realm who would like to volunteer?” Wei Chen said while pointing toward the camera.
With those words, the viewers outside immediately became rowdy, and the chat box began stirring once again.
Everyone below the Nascent Soul Realm began volunteering, and the chat box was flooded with comments from eager participants.
Wei Chen quickly selected one. In the span of a moment, he checked the name carefully to make sure he had not accidentally chosen one of the Heaven’s Chosen. He deliberately avoided surnames such as Lin, Li, Feng, Yan, Yang, or Chen.
Ding ding ding ding!
The chosen name appeared according to Wei Chen’s will.
“Wang Hu.”
In the middle of nowhere, within a simple bandit camp, Wang Hu was dumbfounded as the random comment he had sent as a joke was actually selected.
“You must be kidding me!”
As soon as he said that, the space before him shattered like broken glass. Yan Rongjun, clad in armor, stepped out from the torn space and looked around.
Seeing someone casually walk out from a torn rift in space like that, Wang Hu immediately lost control of his lower body. The pungent smell instantly reached Yan Rongjun’s nose, and she quickly glared toward the source of the disgusting odor.
On the ground, a deep yellow-brown liquid slowly dripped from Wang Hu, the bandit leader of this camp. He was trembling like a rabbit being stared down by a tiger.
“Oh? What’s this? A bandit leader? You’re quite lucky, aren’t cha?” Yan Rongjun spoke with a fierce smile.
No… I’m not!
The bandit leader, Wang Hu, screamed inwardly. He wanted to beat his past self. Why had he sent that message into the chat box just for fun!?
WHYYYYYY!!???
