I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM - Chapter 718 - 718: The undeniable changes

Olivia’s breathing had turned into short, ragged gasps. Sweat glistened on her neck and collarbone, slowly trickling down between her breasts. Her hands were gripping the arms of the chair so tightly that her nails dug into the wood.
Another deep, throaty moan slipped out of her and she immediately bit her lip hard, clearly embarrassed by how lewd she sounded.
But she couldn’t stop it.
The mana continued its relentless work inside her, uncaring of how she felt.
“Kraven… please…” she pleaded, her voice hoarse and broken. “It’s… it’s too much… I can’t… mmmh…!”
Julian kept his breathing perfectly even.
After nearly a full minute of this, he slowly began to withdraw his mana.
He did it gradually, not wanting to shock her system with a sudden absence. The bright blue glow around his hands dimmed first to a soft azure, then to a faint shimmer, and finally faded completely.
The connection between them severed gently, like a silk thread being cut, leaving only faint traces of lingering warmth deep inside Olivia’s body.
She immediately sagged forward in the chair, almost unconscious by the intensity of whatever just happened. Her breathing was heavy and ragged, one hand pressed weakly against her chest as if trying to calm the frantic beating of her heart.
For a long moment, she simply sat there, her eyes half-closed, lips parted, trying desperately to regain control of herself.
Finally, she turned her head just enough to look back at him over her shoulder. Her eyes were glassy, wide, and filled with a storm of emotions — disbelief, awe, lingering pleasure, and something deeper she didn’t dare name.
“Kraven…” she whispered, her voice hoarse and almost disbelieving. “What… what did you just do to me?”
Julian removed his hands from her shoulders but did not step back. He remained standing right behind her, close enough that she could still feel the heat of his presence.
“I showed you,” he said quietly. “That’s all.”
Olivia closed her eyes for a second, still trying to steady her breathing.
Julian silently moved away from her chair and sat down in the seat opposite of her. He leaned back comfortably, watching her with calm, observant eyes.
After a few moments, she slowly opened her eyes. She blinked once, then closed them again, as if trying to confirm something inside herself. When her eyes opened for the second time, they widened dramatically.
Her lips parted in pure disbelief.
“I… I was in early Sovereign realm,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “But now… I am in Peak Sovereign.”
She closed her eyes again, clearly examining her own body and mana core with deep focus. Her brows furrowed in concentration. The longer she looked inward, the more shocked her expression became.
“How is this possible…?” she breathed, almost to herself. “This shouldn’t… this can’t happen so quickly. Not even in legends…”
Julian simply smiled, saying nothing.
Olivia sat there in stunned silence, completely speechless. Her hands trembled slightly in her lap as the reality of what had just happened settled over her. The difference in her power was not small — it was an enormous leap. She had gone from early Sovereign to Peak Sovereign in mere minutes. The kind of breakthrough that normally took years of cultivation, resources, and pure luck… had just been handed to her. (for mortals)
Julian finally spoke, his voice calm and gentle.
“You will be more surprised if you see the mirror.”
Olivia tilted her head slightly. She looked at him for a moment, then slowly rose from her chair on slightly wobbly legs. She walked towards the mirror hanging on the wall beside the door, her orange gown swaying with each step.
The moment she stood in front of the mirror, she froze.
Completely.
Her reflection stared back at her — but it was not the reflection she had grown used to seeing every morning.
The silver streaks were completely gone. Her hair was now a rich, deep, lustrous black, shining with youthful vitality as if she were in her late twenties again. The fine wrinkles at the corners of her eyes and on her forehead had vanished entirely. Her skin looked refreshed, smooth, and glowing with a color it hadn’t possessed in over a decade.
She raised her hand and gently touched her own cheek, watching the reflection do the same. Her fingers caressed the impossibly smooth skin, then moved up to run through her now fully black hair.
“Kraven…” she whispered, voice barely audible. “This… this is not me, right?”
Julian smiled softly from where he sat.
“That’s you, Mother.”
She stared at her reflection for a long time, unable to look away. She turned her face slightly left and right, examining every angle. She touched her neck, her jawline, then brought both hands up to cup her own face as if making sure the woman in the mirror was truly real.
Tears welled up in her eyes.
“I… I look like I did twenty years ago,” she said. “Even better. My skin… my hair… everything…”
She turned around slowly to face Julian.
“What did you do to me?” she asked, her voice thick with emotion. “Not just my power… but this? How is this even possible?”
Julian’s expression turned serious.
“The Mana Reversal doesn’t only create new pathways,” he explained. “It purifies. It removes impurities, old damage, and years of slow decay from the body. What you’re seeing now is the result of your body being restored to its peak condition — or perhaps even beyond it.”
For several long moments, the room was filled with nothing but her soft, stunned breathing.
She finally whispered, almost reverently:
“I feel… alive.”
Julian watched her quietly for a moment before speaking.
“So… do you believe in me now, Mother?”
Olivia stared at him as if she were seeing a completely different person. She stood there silently for several seconds, one hand still resting on her now-youthful cheek.
“I don’t know what to say, Kraven…” she whispered. “I am… speechless. I don’t want to believe it. Everything inside me is screaming that this is impossible, that such things cannot happen so easily. But the results are right in front of me. I can feel it. I can see it.”
