- Chapter 339: Hidden Dragon Secret Realm!

From the explosion of stone and light, a massive golden divine dragon burst forth. Its body stretched for a thousand feet as it rose into the sky with unstoppable momentum, its form radiating a sacred and awe-inspiring aura.
The dragon soared higher and higher, piercing through the clouds and charging toward the upper reaches of the sky. When it reached an altitude of ten thousand meters, its force caused the surrounding air to collapse violently. A pitch-black spatial rift tore open, as though the very fabric of space had been ripped apart.
Within that dark rift, a golden vortex slowly formed.
It spun steadily, growing larger as it expanded outward, its radiant light contrasting sharply against the surrounding darkness.
This was the spatial passage that led to the Hidden Dragon Secret Realm.
Long Yutian’s voice echoed once more.
“The Hidden Dragon Secret Realm has been opened. All those who have qualified for the tournament may now enter. Those without qualification may also enter to observe the battles.”
As he spoke, he raised his hand and waved it forward.
The golden vortex trembled in response, and from its depths, layers of radiant golden steps extended outward. They formed a wide and magnificent pathway that stretched from the vortex down to the square, broad enough for thousands to walk side by side.
One after another, the participants stepped onto this golden path.
With steady steps and resolute expressions, they advanced forward, entering the swirling vortex and heading toward the hidden realm where the true competition awaited them.
…
Before them stretched a vast and boundless expanse of darkness, so deep and endless that it resembled the silent void of a distant galaxy.
Suspended within this pitch-black space stood an enormous structure. Its shape was peculiar, broad and heavy at the top while narrowing sharply toward the bottom, much like a colossal hammer hanging in the void.
This was the Hidden Dragon Secret Realm.
And that towering structure was the true stage of the Hidden Dragon Tournament, known as the Hidden Dragon Battlefield.
Under the guidance of five Mortal Core Realm experts, including Long Yutian, Elder Feiyu, Elder Fenyan, Elder Binglie, and Elder Youhun, the countless participants and spectators entered the battlefield together.
The interior of the Hidden Dragon Battlefield was divided into two distinct areas.
The first was the viewing area, which surrounded the battlefield in a vast circular formation. Rows upon rows of seats were built along the inner walls, forming countless rings that rose layer upon layer.
Each ring could accommodate tens of thousands of people, and with thousands of such layers stacked from bottom to top, the entire viewing area could hold tens of millions of spectators at once. The sheer scale of it was breathtaking, giving off an overwhelming sense of grandeur.
At the center lay the competition area.
This was a massive open space, carefully divided into ten separate sections. Within each section stood multiple dark golden arenas, each one radiating a heavy and imposing aura.
At the very heart of these arenas rose a high platform, where five distinguished seats had been placed. These seats belonged to Long Yutian and the other four experts, serving as the referee stand from which they would oversee the entire tournament.
Once everyone had settled into their respective places, Long Yutian rose to his feet. His gaze swept across the immense crowd, carrying an undeniable authority.
“The rules of the Hidden Dragon Tournament remain the same as before. All participants will be divided into ten groups, and each group will conduct its own set of battles.”
His voice echoed clearly throughout the battlefield.
“Each group will have one seeded participant. These positions are held by the top ten geniuses ranked on the Hidden Dragon List.”
He paused briefly before continuing.
“The final victor of each group will challenge the seeded participant of that group. If you defeat them, you will take their place and become the new seeded participant. Once all group battles have concluded, the ten seeded participants will face one another in the final stage of the competition.”
His tone grew heavier as he spoke the next part.
“If any seeded participant is dissatisfied with their standing, they may challenge those ranked above them. Victory will allow them to claim a higher position.”
A ripple of excitement spread through the crowd.
“When the seeded battles conclude, the final rankings will be announced across the entire Southern Martial Domain by the four great sects, including the Boundless Martial Palace, the Burning Heaven Sect, the Ice God Valley, and the Martial Ascension Gate. At that time, the top ten will be recognized as the strongest of the younger generation.”
After a brief pause, Long Yutian added another crucial detail.
“Those who achieve a position within the top one hundred will gain the qualification to participate in the Grand Martial Assembly. Your final results will be determined by the amount of Dragon Qi you possess. The greater your Dragon Qi, the higher your ranking will be.”
With that, he raised his hand.
“Now, the drawing of lots will begin.”
As his words fell, a powerful golden whirlwind suddenly formed within the arena. It spun rapidly, rising into the sky and taking the shape of a towering golden tornado. Within it, countless golden orbs floated and drifted, rising and falling like stars caught in a storm.
Moments later, the rotation reached its peak.
The golden orbs burst outward in all directions, scattering through the air like a brilliant meteor shower. Each one left behind a streak of radiant light as it descended toward the participants below.
One of those orbs shot directly toward Li Yun.
He raised his hand calmly and caught it. The golden light faded slightly, revealing a faint number engraved upon its surface.
Number Five.
“Group Five.”
Li Yun glanced at the number, then lifted his gaze toward a slender figure in the distance.
That figure was Yi Yang, ranked fifth on the Hidden Dragon List and the seeded participant of Group Five.
To advance further, Li Yun would eventually have to challenge him.
Around him, several other participants who had drawn the same group number reacted with dismay.
“My luck is terrible. I actually got Group Five.”
“This is hopeless. We are finished.”
Voices of frustration and despair echoed nearby.
Among the top ten geniuses, Yi Yang was not necessarily the strongest, but he was widely regarded as the most troublesome opponent.
He possessed the Eye of Insight, a rare ability that allowed him to see through illusions and perceive the weaknesses and movements of his opponents with unnerving clarity. Facing him meant that even the smallest flaw could be exposed and exploited without mercy.
