There is a particle that changes when it is being observed.

That is the same kind of reaction these formation experience.

Only they did not change. They were destroyed. Like Azief gaze is some kind of a destruction gaze.

It is a reminder….and a warning.

It is like nothing could hide from that gaze. And if he wanted to, he could inflict pain.

Etherna magic see through all illusions and pierce through and reach the source. And even though Azief himself did not yet master such method yet, he had some of the method

And even some of the method is enough.

Though, he did not even need to use Etherna method. Erika formation did not yet reach the realm where his method did not work.

And Azief has a feeling that Erika did not put her full power in the formation. After all, Erika probably did not care if people could see her or not

For the things she cares about, the kind of formation that is guarding it might be something even he could not see through

After all, there is one advantage of Erika that others did not possess.

She could see the future.

And seeing the future, while it could be a curse and a burden, it could also be a gift.

If you could take the method of formation of the future and apply it, Erika could clearly create a powerful formation that even he could not see through

This is just Azief speculation, but he believes Erika has other methods.

She just didn’t display it and if she did display it no one would know and no one would be the wiser.

He could see through the clouds, and pierce through the formation and he could see the oracle is looking at her from the edge of rock, looking down

For a moment, even though there are all kinds of obstacles between them, it was like nothing existed as they gazed at each other’s eyes

This is not the kind of gaze between friends.

This is not the kind of gaze between lovers. It’s the kind of gaze where you look at each other, thinking what do the other thinks and what are they scheming inside their head.

Both of them look at each other’s eyes and they both are trying to read each other’s mind.

What kind of intrigue, what kind of plot is hiding inside that head?

For beings like them that could see the future and make plans based on a chessboard carved on time and space the kind of plots and intrigue they do, is different from the kind of plots and intrigue that mortals do

If mortals think ten steps ahead, then for beings like them, they already see one hundred steps ahead

The problem is the enemy they face could also see one hundred steps ahead.

The important thing is not to see the one hundred steps but to make sure that one hundred steps ahead is hindered.

Create obstacles, put all kinds of problem.

One step hindered means the plan needs to change.

Of course for beings that could see one hundred step ahead, a few obstacles here and there is not enough to change the outcome.

A hundred steps ahead also means in every one of that step, one could see how it could go wrong.

Those who make plans, and those who hindered the plan both of them are both playing the game.

The one making the plan takes their steps, and those who wanted to hinder it puts obstacles, the one who makes the plans bypass the problems or break the problem and so on and so forth, the games of the deities and gods

They put chess pieces, take chess pieces out, abandon some, steal some.

Azief smiles and Erika chuckles.

Katarina could not see the interaction between these two.

Azief could use his eyes to pierce through all formation and Erika is the owner of the mountain and the owner of the magical formation so both of them could communicate like this

But Katarina did not possess Azief magic and she is not the owner of this mountain or possess great knowledge about formation.

Nor did she know in that brief few seconds, these two share a glance and from a glance they know each other.

And the one thing they know from that one glance is this

Both of them are hard to read. Azief could not read Erika, and Erika could not read Azief. And for them both, this is something rare.

And both of them have different ways of bluffing and pretending

Azief only smiles. That is his method. It unnerves his enemies. And Erika either smirks or laugh.

Erika is at the top of the mountain. And then she makes a move and her body turns like a flash of lightning, heading toward a tree near the entrance of her main temple

She is sitting on one of the branches of a tree and smiling…waiting.

She notices the moment Azief appears in the vicinity.

Warning signs fills her heart and the Ten Thousand Bells all across the temple rings endlessly, the god of death descend and all life cowers!

Even though Azief did not yet reach Sovereign realm, even though he did not yet take that moniker and title of God of Death, for Erika who is just Disk Formation realm leveler, there is a difference of two realms between her and Death Monarch

This difference between the two realms is crushing

Just to reach Divine Comprehension realm is like one from the bottom of the well trying to reach the heavens

As one progresses higher in the realm of power, the difference and power between different realm become stark

For example, from level ten to level twenty, while the difference of power is there it is not as pronounced.

It is only when one reached Disk Formation and above that this difference is like a chasm and an abyss

And the difference between Disk Formation and Essence Creation is like two different lifeforms facing one another.

The other one already stands on a different dimension, overlooking every part of you, from time to space and control all the rules and laws of the world

Erika only smiles at this.

“Loki changed too much. Now, it is already the era of Death Monarch”

In the original timeline, it wasn’t until Azief broke through the barrier of level and became a Sovereign that the world ushered into his era.

For one hundred years, he had no rivals and if he wanted to everyone could become his slave.

But maybe because he himself suffers many times during his early years, he did not enslave humanity, nor did he cut down the path of heaven and earth.

However, the advantage of being the first multiplied. Then it was Raymond that became Sovereign and then Azief returns to his Underworld and rarely appears in the mortal world.

Though his temple is everywhere. People feared him yet at the same time desire his power over life and death.

Erika sighed

“too much has changed and the ripples of time and space has been affected too badly. I could not see the way forward. And suddenly Odin appears bringing a seed of a new future” And at this Erika could not help but smile

Did he know?

Odin also has some legacy of Borgan.

One of Odin greatest ability is his foresight.

Did he foresee all of this?

Or is it just a backup plan?

Whatever the case, whether it is a backup plan or whether he had foreseen all of this matter, it did not matter.

What she does know that now because of him, Erika and Death Monarch would be entangled again in this cause and effect

Before, she had given him her eyes. Now, she is giving him another help.

Before, they both benefited from each other.

This time…. however, it is different.

Erika did not gain anything. But when there is gain, there must be a loss. Death Monarch, the future Death God would owe her.

And she has many ways of manipulating this.

If this is her not knowing the future and what Azief existence means, she would use this cause and effect to save her life or as a talisman.

Having the God of Death owes you is a powerful thing.

You are basically invincible and could become an immortal if you play your cards right

But she would not use such favor for such a mundane wish.

She wanted to maintain it.

Other oracles did not know something about the prerequisite of seeing the future of gods and goddesses.

Certain beings when they reached a certain realm escaped the gaze of the Will of Heaven and normal oracle could not see such fates and destiny without risking being backlashed by the power of fate and destiny.

But there is a bypass or a loophole to this matter.

Most Oracle did not become close to the people because cause and effect could confuse the vision and the sight.

Most Oracle could not see their own fate and their own destiny.

At most they see glimpses.

And even then, most of these glimpses only serve to confuse and sometimes even to set up that destiny

The so-called self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hence, most oracles and seers rarely try to see their own fates.
