My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 938: A Splendid Opportunity

“I-I haven’t thought about it much… but I definitely want to become a cultivator so I can stay with my daughter for the rest of my life,” Nyx replied after pondering for a couple of moments.
‘Unfortunately, I have to do the ‘deed’ with Yuan if I want to become a cultivator, and there is no shortcut… but I’m not ready yet… I hope my daughter understands my feelings for now.’ She thought inwardly with a soft sigh.
“By the way, what do you think about Yuan? Do you like him?” She then brought up the main topic, which immediately made Selvariel blush.
Selvariel’s cheeks flushed instantly upon hearing the question, and her entire body stiffened. She was completely caught off guard by Nyx’s sudden inquiry, never expecting such a question out of nowhere.
‘What should I say? Do I really like that human?’ She questioned herself, unsure of how to answer.
Although she had initially hated him for killing her companion right in front of her when they first met, as she spent more time with him and his wives, that hatred slowly faded and was replaced by something unfamiliar.
She had spent her entire life serving the gods, never truly knowing what it meant to live for herself. But with Yuan and his wives, she felt a sense of freedom—as if she had escaped a dark prison where she had been confined her entire life.
Furthermore, even though she had originally been a hostage in Yuan’s hands, he had never mistreated her. In fact, she had been treated far better than she ever was in the High Heaven.
‘He is a human, yet he has an incredibly handsome face. Not only that, he is fearless and possesses unparalleled strength. He is the ideal man for many women… even for me.’ She thought, a dazed expression appearing on her face as a faint smile formed on her lips.
Nyx noticed her expression and chuckled softly. “It seems I’ve already gotten my answer… You do like him, don’t you?”
“Was I really that obvious??” Selvariel asked in shock, unable to believe that her feelings had been so easily seen through, even though she hadn’t spoken a single word about them.
Since she had never revealed her feelings to anyone, how had Nyx figured it out so easily? Was she truly that transparent?
“W-What about you? Don’t you like Yuan as well?” Selvariel asked, clearly flustered as she struggled to maintain her composure.
“I won’t hide it from you. Since we will both eventually fall into his arms… I do like him. He is a truly extraordinary individual, unlike anyone I’ve ever encountered.”
Nyx’s words left Selvariel stunned, her eyes widening as she stared at her.
‘Indeed… Yuan is an extraordinary individual… and following someone like him for the rest of my life would be a blessing.’ She thought, a gentle smile forming on her lips.
Just then, they heard footsteps approaching. Turning around, they saw Yuan walking out of the building.
“It seems you’ve spent quite some quality time with your two new wives, Yuan,” Nyx said with a mischievous smile.
“You’ve misunderstood me, Mother-in-law,” Yuan replied with a smile. “I was simply explaining cultivation to them before they begin their journey.”
He then added with a calm expression, “Without proper guidance, they could harm themselves while cultivating. And besides, I don’t need to dual cultivate with them since they don’t possess Mana within their bodies.”
“With the right cultivation techniques, they can become cultivators immediately by following the methods precisely,” Yuan explained.
“I see… No wonder they haven’t come out yet. It seems they are already cultivating inside.” Nyx murmured softly, a trace of sadness appearing in her voice as she realized that others had already begun their cultivation journey before her.
Yuan looked at both Selvariel and Nyx for a few seconds before realizing something, and a small smile appeared on his face.
“How about you two become cultivators as well? Don’t you want to grow stronger?” Yuan asked, looking at them with a gentle yet playful expression.
He couldn’t ignore beauties like Nyx and Selvariel, both of whom possessed exceptional appearances. Especially Nyx, who carried a naturally seductive charm that made it difficult to ignore her presence.
As for Selvariel, she appeared reserved, as if nothing in the world could easily stir her emotions. Yet at the same time, she had an elegance and allure that quietly drew attention.
Both Selvariel and Nyx became flustered after hearing his question. Their cheeks turned slightly red as they struggled to find a proper response.
“W-We both want to become stronger as well. Who would refuse strength in this world? Everyone desires power.” Nyx replied after regaining her composure.
“Indeed. Everyone seeks strength—whether to make a name for themselves or to rise above others. In this world, strength is everything.” Yuan nodded in agreement with Nyx’s words.
After all, without strength, a person could not survive in this world. Someone without power would be forced to live a life of hardship, like an ant crawling on the ground, easily crushed at any moment.
He observed their expressions and noticed the faint blush on their faces.
‘Right… they understand what is required to transition from Mana to Spiritual Energy…’ A subtle smile formed on his lips, and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation.
‘Since the moment feels right… perhaps this is the best time to speak openly.’ Yuan thought to himself.
“How about I help you both become cultivators today? Of course, the choice is entirely yours.” Yuan continued with a calm smile. “But if you’re willing, I will treat you both equally and ensure your happiness for the rest of your lives.”
“A-Are you telling the truth?” Selvariel asked in a slightly trembling voice, her cheeks flushed as her heart beat rapidly.
“Have I ever lied to you before?” Yuan replied with a reassuring smile.
Nyx then revealed a sly smile as she fixed her gaze on Yuan and said, “I know you’ve been watching me ever since we first met… and now you’ve practically admitted it. You really are quite the womanizer.”
“It’s not like I’m the only one at fault. Haven’t you been acting rather… charming in front of me as well?” Yuan replied with a faint smirk, which immediately caused her to lose composure.
Nyx’s face flushed even deeper upon hearing this, while Selvariel looked at her with widened eyes, clearly surprised.
‘Unbelievable… Lady Nyx was actually trying to charm her own son-in-law… this is quite an unexpected revelation.’ She thought, her expression filled with astonishment.
‘Well… considering his relationships with his other wives, perhaps this isn’t entirely surprising…’ She sighed softly and shook her head.
“A-Are you sure it’s fine to do this now? After all, it’s still daytime… Emma and the others could come out of their rooms at any moment…” Nyx’s voice was low, almost embarrassed, her cheeks flushed red.
However, Yuan noticed that she wasn’t objecting to the idea. Instead, beneath her slight hesitation, there was a trace of excitement in her expression.
“No need to worry about that. I don’t think they will come out of their seclusion anytime soon. We’ll have enough time to help you both become cultivators, and you can begin cultivating if you manage to grasp the techniques.” Yuan replied with a smile before pulling both of them into his embrace, making them blush instantly.
Shortly afterward, they entered an empty room, and Yuan immediately took out a talisman from his system storage, setting up a sound-blocking array around the room.
The room quickly became completely soundproof. No sound could escape from within, ensuring that nothing would disturb his wives’ cultivation.
Yuan began with Nyx, gently pulling her closer and pressing his lips against hers. The kiss started soft and tender, gradually deepening as their emotions intertwined.
Nyx felt at ease in his arms. Her body relaxed completely, and all she could focus on was the warmth and comfort of the moment as he kissed her.
‘This is… surprisingly comforting… no wonder my foolish daughter clings to him all the time…’ Nyx thought, a faint smile forming on her lips as the kiss continued for several moments.
When Nyx finally broke the kiss, Yuan turned his gaze toward Selvariel, who had been watching them with a deeply flushed face.
‘T-They kissed… and now it’s my turn… I never thought I would one day fall for a human…!’ She cried inwardly, her heart racing as Yuan looked directly at her.
‘What are you hesitating for? Come here… let me taste those sweet lips of yours.’ Yuan said with a playful smile. To his surprise, Selvariel slowly stepped forward without hesitation.
‘What is happening to me? Why is my body moving on its own…?’ She screamed inwardly, shocked at her own actions as she leaned closer.
Selvariel gently closed her eyes, waiting for the moment his lips would meet hers—a moment that would change something deep within her.
Soon, she felt his lips press against hers. Her mind spun from the unfamiliar sensation, yet it felt warm and comforting at the same time.
Her arms moved instinctively, wrapping around Yuan’s neck as her body leaned closer until there was no distance left between them.
‘This feeling… it’s worth everything… even going against the gods…’ She thought, completely lost in the overwhelming sensation of experiencing her first kiss.
