My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 949: Undead Knights

“Incredible… To think Sister Emma is this strong…” Isolde muttered with a dazed look on her face, clearly mesmerized by the display of strength.
“A single fist annihilated over a thousand undead… and Sister Emma made it look effortless. Her skills are on a completely different level than ours…” Nerith added, also wearing a dazed expression.
“Sister Vrasha is also equally powerful… look at how she is annihilating the undead with that massive sword so easily.”
“Indeed,” Isolde nodded gently and added, “Despite her large physique, she is moving incredibly fast.
Her figure became blurry as she moved, causing massive destruction with every swing of her enormous sword.
The undead were nothing more than cabbages before her, easily cut down and destroyed; she was able to hold her ground against tens of thousands of undead without breaking a sweat.”
“Shall we join the fun as well?” Julie said to Ava with a wide grin on her face.
Seeing how Emma, Valeria, and Vrasha were dominating the battlefield, both Julie and Ava felt their blood boil with excitement.
After all, almost a month had passed since they last used their full power freely, and this battlefield was the perfect place for them to go all out without any restraint.
They nodded at each other and charged at the undead; with their swords and daggers, they began eliminating them, killing thousands with each passing moment.
The warriors stationed on the Great Wall could only stare at the scene with their eyes wide open and their jaws nearly dropping to the ground.
They couldn’t comprehend what was happening before their eyes; the mysterious women brought by Nerith and Isolde were so destructive and dominant on the battlefield that they were left completely speechless by their prowess.
“T-This is madness…!” Emperor Rhex exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief.
The sheer destruction caused by the women alongside Yuan shocked him to the core. He had expected them to be strong, but he had never imagined this level of power.
He could only see them as blurs within clouds of dust as they unleashed devastation across the entire battlefield.
Taking down tens of thousands of undead without breaking a sweat… and for the first time, he could see a glimmer of hope in winning this battle.
’But where is Yuan?? Why hasn’t he shown himself yet??’ he wondered inwardly, noticing his absence from the battlefield.
He looked around the battlefield and the camp, searching for any sign of him. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find him anywhere.
He then turned toward Anna Grace and asked, “Where is Yuan? I don’t see him anywhere.”
“He won’t join this battle unless it’s absolutely necessary. For now, he is observing everything from inside the tent.” Anna Grace replied calmly.
She appeared completely composed, as if the entire situation was under control. Her confidence seemed genuine, and thus Rhex didn’t question further and simply nodded in silence.
’Just how strong is he…?? Was that even the true extent of his power…??’ he began to doubt his own understanding of Yuan’s strength, realizing his judgment of him might have been far too shallow.
“It’s moving!! There are movements within the dark mist!!” someone suddenly shouted, drawing everyone’s attention toward the endless darkness.
Strange movements could be seen within the thick mist, but due to its density and its ability to block senses, no one could tell what was actually happening.
However, everyone was certain that something massive was about to occur within moments.
The thick mist suddenly began to stir, and a heavy pressure descended upon the entire battlefield. Every warrior could feel multiple powerful and sinister presences emerging from within it.
“W-What kind of pressure is this???”
“W-What kind of being could emit such a powerful and sinister aura…???”
The warriors turned toward the endless mist, their voices shaking and legs trembling in fear as a chilling sensation crept down their spines.
The pressure not only affected the warriors but also the Emperor and the kings; even they could feel their backs drenched in sweat under this dreadful presence.
Suddenly, the air shifted, turning icy cold in an instant, making the warriors fighting the undead shiver uncontrollably.
Whoosh! Ten massive undead emerged from within the mist, clad in black, spiked armor, with blue light flickering within their eyes.
All ten of them wielded massive black swords as tall as their bodies; a single slash from those blades could kill more than fifty people at once.
This sight left the Allied Forces speechless, and many dropped their weapons in fear, while others felt their legs weaken, as if they could no longer support their own weight.
Their overwhelming presence and towering figures etched deep fear into the hearts of the Allied Forces, making them hesitate to step forward.
Some even felt their strength fade away, along with their will to fight, causing them to stumble backward with pale expressions.
“They are quite strong… the Undead Knights. It will be very hard for the allied forces to fight them.” Isolde muttered with deep concern, her expression serious.
Nerith nodded solemnly and added, “Shall we join the fray? After all, it is about time we make our entrance as well, just like the others did.”
“Definitely…” Isolde nodded before summoning her blood to form a full-body armor around herself, covering nearly every part of her body in dark crimson plating.
Nerith gripped her sword with one hand and dashed forward at an unbelievable speed, heading straight toward one of the Undead Knights on the battlefield.
Isolde materialized a massive pair of wings behind her back before taking off, flying directly toward another Undead Knight.
And as she moved through the air at incredible speed, she formed two swords out of her blood and held them firmly in her hands.
Seeing them approach, the Undead Knights let out inhuman screams that shook the entire battlefield, forcing the allied forces to cover their ears.
They raised their swords and prepared to block the incoming attacks from Nerith and Isolde, sensing imminent danger from them.
Something about their presence unsettled the undead, forcing them into a defensive stance, as if they instinctively feared Nerith and Isolde.
Bang!!!
A thunderous explosion erupted the moment Nerith and Isolde’s weapons collided with the massive swords of the Undead Knights.
A powerful shockwave swept across the battlefield, sending nearby undead flying several meters away and obliterating those closest to the impact.
The shockwave was so intense that even the warriors stationed on the Great Wall were forced to kneel, bracing themselves against its overwhelming force.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Suddenly, the sharp sounds of metal clashing echoed as sparks flew, with Isolde and Nerith engaging the Undead Knights in fierce combat.
They had not yet learned sword techniques or advanced offensive skills from Yuan, but they still possessed the unique abilities granted by their cultivation techniques.
Unfortunately, those techniques consumed a tremendous amount of Spiritual Energy, and with their current cultivation, they could only use them twice before exhausting themselves.
Thus, they relied on their own combat instincts and fighting styles to battle the Undead Knights with everything they had, clearly feeling the limitations of lacking proper martial techniques.
It was unfortunate that they hadn’t been given enough time to learn such techniques, as the border had urgently required their presence.
Meanwhile, Emma, Valeria, and Vrasha continued to dominate the battlefield with sheer power, annihilating the undead left and right with ease.
Boom! Boom! Bang!
Explosions rocked the battlefield as they slaughtered the undead at an astonishing rate, leaving the allied forces utterly stunned to their core.
And seeing this, King Evander, Queen Lilith, and King Vargan felt their pride being challenged and used everything they had to kill as many undead as possible.
They went on a rampage across the battlefield, using their own methods to slaughter as many undead as they could, as if they were competing with Emma and the others.
“Those fools… are they thinking this is some kind of game? Competing with each other like children? How absurd…” Emperor Rhex could only sigh at the behavior of the three kings.
Their childish actions in such a serious situation only made him more frustrated and irritated, causing him to shake his head in disbelief.
Anna Grace ignored the three kings and turned her attention to Mireya and the others beside her, saying, “I don’t think Nerith and Isolde can handle all the Undead Knights by themselves… let’s give them some assistance, shall we?”
“Of course, Mother-in-law.” Sylvia nodded with a wide grin before her figure vanished like a ghost.
“I’m always ready for a fight…” Lily said with a grin as a cold, icy aura suddenly burst from her body, causing the temperature around the entire Great Wall to drop sharply.
“Me too! I want some excitement as well.” Aisha said with a small smile, clearly eager to use her full strength for the first time after becoming a cultivator.
Just then, Angela spoke with a stiff smile, “I’d rather stay here and watch. I’m not very interested in fighting.”
“Me too. I’d also prefer to stay here and watch.” Vanessa added.
“Well, count me in as well.” Miss Zara said.
“I want to fight! Look how much fun big sister Emma and the others are having.” Little Zoe said as she retrieved her small sword from her spatial ring, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Shortly after, Anna Grace and the others joined the fray, while Angela, Vanessa, Miss Zara, and Long Yuyan remained behind on the Great Wall.
As soon as Anna Grace and the others entered the battlefield, the situation shifted drastically as they immediately began reducing the number of undead.
The mindless undead didn’t stand a chance against their strength, including even those who had developed a certain level of intelligence.
