Chapter 2844: Sealing a Divine Beast II

As Adrian’s large sword got split into a larger framed great sword and a smaller compact sword made of pure void energy, he felt the differing energies in both swords. When the Gigantes Umbra Sword is joined together, their strengths are combined which makes a more powerful sword that has no flaws. When they are split, the two swords give off their unique energies that actually made the Lotan afraid.

The Lotan suddenly felt fear as the energy of the sword is no longer being hidden when they are split apart. The chaos energy on the large framed Gigantes great sword with the void energy from the Umbra sword could be felt clearly. The energies of the two swords gave the Lotan a feeling of suppression which means it is a weapon that could definitely kill it. The Lotan already learned its lesson when one of its heads is cleaved perfectly without even a problem.

“I must escape!” The Lotan thought as it started to turn its entire body towards the open sea behind it.

Just as the Lotan is about to turn tail and run, Kanlaon finally perfected the spell it is conjuring. With a twist of its body, Kanlaon released a powerful freezing force that actually froze the entire deep sea around them in a five-hundred-meter radius. The dome is also preserved which means they are trapped with the Lotan in the deep sea.

“Trying to escape, little snake?” Kanlaon stated with a grin which made the Lotan even more angry at him.

“Who are you calling a snake, overgrown lizard!? I am a Divine Beast that rules over the seas! I am a god unlike you who has yet to achieve the real status of a divine beast!” The Lotan retorted as Kanlaon’s Divine Beast status is not sealed because he does not absorb divine energy freely.

“Did you really think that will offend me? I have killed gods with my master. Divine beings are not something so special when they all fall before our power.” Kanlaon replied as he was not offended at all and did not think much about divine status because he, his siblings, and his master have killed divine beings before.

“You dare!” The Lotan shouted as its divine energy surge to regrow the head that was cut off.

The Lotan then created seven magic circles from its mouth and then blasted powerful water jets from them. The Lotan knew that it could not escape with such a thick ice wall blocking its escape which is why it chose to fight. The fact that it felt fear from the demon and its soulbounds made it laughable. It was a god and it should give divine punishment to those that dared to offend it.

The powerful streams of water also destroyed the seaweed that bound it but it still had one problem. The slime monster that the demon summon has alreadt attached to its body. The Lotan used one head per enemy but used the remaining on its body where Dodu is currently deteriorating. The Lotan used one head for Adrian, Kanlaon, and Wisteria while the rest were used to cleanse off Dodu that is destroying its scales.

“Chaos Sword Wave!” Adrian stated as he slammed the framed Gigantes great sword onto the ground.

A powerful dome of chaos energy erupted around Adrian which blocked the jet stream from reaching him. Kanlaon merely countered the attack of the Lotan with its own breath attack. Wisteria got is easy as she just created a wall of crystal leaves that easily defended against the Lotan’s attack.

As the jet stream of water started to weaken, Adrian looked at his Umbra sword that is now coated with a pitch-black aura. This is the signal that it has already charged enough energy for the empowered attack. Adrian knows that Dodu is being blasted more than them which is why he targeted the heads that were attacking the latter.

Adrian then vanished as he suddenly appeared next to the Lotan and waved his Umbra sword. He expected some resistance with the attack as the scale of the Lotan is very tough. The physical resistance of a divine beast is also exceptional and this applies to beasts that rely on their physical body more. The Lotan is part of this group as it lives in the deep ocean where the water pressure can easily crush diamonds.

“Eh?” Adrian suddenly exclaimed as his sword actually sliced through the first head like butter.

The empowered attack was much powerful than he expected but he knows that this is not possible unless Dodu deteriorated the defenses of the Lotan immensely. The empowered sword then lost its dark luster and hit the next neck but it only left a wound. It seems that the empowered attack combined with the reduction of defense made the scales of the Lotan weak enough for it to slice like butter.

Adrian immediately teleported away because a powerful gush of blood soon followed with the cry of pain from the Lotan. The Lotan then used more of its own divine energy to regenerate the head but it could be seen that it felt exhausted after doing so. The Lotan might have great regeneration but it is weak against beings like Dodu that can deteriorate and corrode.

“Let me try then, Pinnacle Seal!” Adrian stated as a magic circle suddenly appeared below the Lotan.

The magic circle suddenly bound the Lotan for a brief moment before it roared. With the roar, the Lotan managed to destroy the magic circle that is about to seal it away. The Lotan then became enraged as a mere demigod is trying to seal it away and make it become a servant.

The Lotan’s eyes suddenly became red as it entered its enraged state. The scales on its body suddenly glowed in a luminescent way as sharp fins started to grow on its back. The scales also emitted some elemental pressure which made Dodu retreat as the damage from it was something that it cannot ignore. The Lotan is already down to almost half in health but it was putting such pressure on them.

“I shall crush you here, demon!” The Lotan shouted as all seven heads no longer attacked his other soulbounds because its only target is now Adrian.

Kanlaon, Wisteria, and Dodu tried to stop the Lotan but it was ignoring all of them as the only target of the divine beast is their master. Adrian did not flinch though as there was no escape from this place since Kanlaon sealed it off. He could only respond with brute force against the reckless charge of the Lotan.

“Seeing that it even created a seal on its body for it to explode if it could not resist my sealing spell, the divine beast has already chosen its fate. I guess I should find a new gift for Altum to use since this one will have to be killed by me.” Adrian stated as all of his soulbounds heard his command.

Kanlaon, Wisteria, and Dodu instantly used their bodies to bind the raging Lotan. Kanlaon returned to his real size and coiled around the Lotan. Wisteria took a different approach as she fused with the sand as it crystallized. The crystallized sand then slithered towards the Lotan to bind its tail. Dodu also turned its body into a serpentine shape and bound the heads that Kanlaon could not cover. All of them actually bound the Lotan from moving as their master uttered the words of his ultimate skill.

“Chaotic Titan.” Adrian stated as his entire body is engulfed with chaos energy and he doubled in size. It is not just his size that doubled because his own Gigantes Umbra Sword also doubled in size.

“As I have expected.” Adrian smiled as he though that the passive will definitely carry over which is why he became careful and did not do a follow up attack on the Lotan as he knew his next attack will definitely crit.

“You will be the first one to experience this hit. Hope you can survive this attack. Chaos Plunge!” Adrian stated as he raised his sword into the air.

As soon as Adrian raised his sword into the air, his own body faintly vanished as it became part of the roof above. A large silhouette of Adrian in his Kaos Demon Warrior form suddenly appeared holding the Gigantes Umbra Sword. The Lotan felt it as it knows power when it sees it and this is not just some mere illusion but the real thing.

The large Adrian then plunges his sword towards the Lotan as it screamed with all seven heads. The strike on the ground created a powerful explosion that also destroyed the frozen sea with only a thin layer left. As of the Lotan, not even parts of its body could be seen as it turned into particles of light.
